The March of the Six Million

Many years ago while Rav Shlomo Carlebach zt"l was still alive, I heard his masterpiece, The Krakow Niggun for the first time.  It started off as a funeral dirge for the 6 million who died in the Shoah, and then it became a March.  As he himself explains in the preface for the song, the last song on Cassette tapes only version of his "Shabbos with Shlomo" Album, that while the Niggun starts out as a funeral dirge, the Gilgulim of the 6 million Jews who were snuffed out in the Shoah will be in Yerushalayim to welcome Mashiach and the Messianic Era.  He received this tradition from the Klausenburger Rebbe, Rav Yekusiel Yehudah Halberstam zt"l, who survived Auschwitz and lost all of his children (11?) and his wife in the flames of the Holocaust made Aliyah in 1960 after establishing Qiryat Sanz in Netanya in the 1950s.  He decreed based on the Chid"a that the number of Jews who will witness the final Redemption after the last Churban will be equal in population that left Egypt.  There are sources from years ago that 3.2 million Klal Yisrael including children left Egypt plus 2.8 million from the Erev Rav.  The Klausenburger Rebbe realized that even during the 6 Day War in 1967, there would not be enough Jews in that war in the Land of Israel to trigger the immediate final redemption because at the time there were only 2.6 to 2.7 million Jews in Israel and that 6 million Gilgulim from the Shoah would be necessary to bring the Redemption B"itah.  He realized that Achishena anything could happen and that Mashiach could come supernaturally, but odds on we historically have always been tripped up by the Erev Rav, and that after the Shoah, we would need to reach all the b"itah conditions that did not exist during his lifetime including the necessity for at least a minimum of 6 million Jews to live in Eretz Yisrael, this being the same population that left Egypt including the Erev Rav and not so coincidentally, the same population to perish in the Shoah.  As we will see from later in this post the Shoah was the last Churban, the 7th Churban, after 6 x 300 year cycles with a major Churban associated with the beginning and end of each cycle.  And because of the Tochachah in both VaYikra and at the end of D'varim, there would ONLY be 7 Churbanot.

So years ago Rav Shlomo was in Krakow composing his funeral dirge for those who died in the Shoah, and suddenly he said that he saw them, the 6 million, and they asked him, "Is this the way to Yerushalayim??  Let's Dance!"  I believe that this is word for word Shlomo's introduction to the Cassette version of the Krakow Niggun.  You will not find this intro on any of the CDs that you may have purchased after Cassette tape technology went out of style.  But for those of us old-fashioned types, I still have a bunch of his cassettes and a way to play cassettes.

We are having electrical problems and outages because of the War.  This post is a work in progress, but I need to post it now because Hezbollah is trying to hit the nationwide electrical substation in Hadera tonight.  And I do not want to take any chances.  I am continuing to work on this post and will update as much as I can before any unexpected blackouts.

  1. A barrage of 3 rockets on the Merkaz and Yerushalayim- 2 critically injured in Ramat Gan. Taking a break tonight.

I do plan on continuing this post, but because of the situation, this will take some time.

  2. The Shekhinah is leaving America this Rosh Chodesh Nissan, it seems.

A top aide to Trump resigns and claims that Trump was pushed into this War by Israel. Israel will survive this in spectacular fashion but with problems because there is still death in Wars. American Jewry will not. Do yourselves a big favor. Get out of there. Please, please, please come home.

  4. Looking forward to the rest of your post. Stay safe. Sadly, the zug from Ramat Gan perished. They were in their 70s and didn't make it to their mamad in time. These cluster bombs are a big problem. We managed to dodge most of the Hezbollah missiles and drones last night, B"H. I'm especially interested to hear why you think the Shechina will leave America tomorrow.

  6. Doowop, I understand your feelings. My husband is in a similar situation (after op) and also could not get to the mamad in our bldg. So we stay upstairs, not top floor, and ‘sometimes’ I go next to our heavy heavy door between two inner walls. As I believe, HKB”H has everyone’s ticket to 120 and more deaths and accidents happen in the frantic rush. B”H I dont hear them flying over my head anymore. I do notice some of the tenants heading down but not immediately (??) And sometimes do hear the thump plus before or after they just get inside. I believe the time to reach us is now about within 2 min. It used to be 4. Anyway TY Reb Dov for beginning a new piece for us, in light of RH Nisan.

    1. Yes, conquering 2/3rds of Lebanon is a Mashiach ben Yosef activity. Yehoshua bin Nun was originally given that Avodah, and he stopped at the Litani River. MBY has the Avodah of conquering Lebanon to the same latitude as Tsadad in Syria, an ancient city mentioned in the Book of Numbers associated with the promised Land of Israel's northern border. Tsadad in Arabic is Sadad. This is common. The Hebrew Tsadee is usually just an S in Arabic.

      Mitzri- Masri- Egyptian
      Batzrah- Basra in Iraq
      Tsadad- Sadad in Syria

  8. I went to the wedding of Chananel Gez, who got remarried tonight in Har Brakhah on Mt Gerizim. My wife played a part in finding him a Shidduch. His first wife had been murdered in a terrorist attack when he was on the way to the hospital when she was about to give birth. He got remarried tonight. Rav Shmuel Eliyahu was the Mesader Qiddushin.

    Good night.

  9. The same prophecy that was discussed by Rav Laniado 470 years ago in sefer Kli Paz.

    Yishaiyahu 34:
6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams; for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Botzrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.
    ח כִּי יוֹם נָקָם, לַיהוָה--שְׁנַת שִׁלּוּמִים, לְרִיב צִיּוֹן. 8 For the LORD hath a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for the Controversy/Cause of Zion.
ט וְנֶהֶפְכוּ נְחָלֶיהָ לְזֶפֶת, וַעֲפָרָהּ לְגָפְרִית; וְהָיְתָה אַרְצָהּ, לְזֶפֶת בֹּעֵרָה. 9 And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch/tar, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch/tar.

The last pasuk speaks of burning oil wells. And the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers covered with burning oil.

  10. So when Gog Bush Sr. fought Iraq over Kuwait, we had a shadow of what is happening now. This was partially fulfilled in the 1st Persian Gulf War in 1990-91, but Red "Edom" Adair put out all the oil fires.

    1. The Gulf War 1990/91 ended on Purim, as famously prophesied by the Lubavitcher Rebbe. In fact it was timed so it was Purim everywhere in the world.
This Gulf War began [3 days before] Purim.

  11. A year of Recompense for the Cause of Zion

They are shooting missiles at Gulf state oil and gas wells. Happy New Year, Rosh Chodesh Nissan.

  12. Idea: if those ‘guys’ keep throwing missiles at TH3 MOSQUE, we might have the opportunity to “repair” and lay the foundation for our Third Beis! Whats your take on that, Reb Dov?

  13. On Rosh Chodesh Nissan, all the nations who were affected by sky-rocketing oil prices decided to send something symbolic to open the Strait of Hormuz.

Now Trump has decided to open it himself. If he does, this is it.

  14. Brent North Sea Crude sky-rocketed on Friday to $112 per barrel. Markets just opened. The Economy of Edom cannot function at $112 per barrel.

The tragedy in Arad yesterday felt like a knife in the heart.

  15. Two very loud booms tonight. I have heard more than 150 booms during this War. Admittedly, the dangers of living in the North, I do not know how well I would have adjusted to that.
