The Kickoff to the Last Nine Months of Olam HaZeh and a Hint at Nibiru
It was a brutal day here in Israel. We have been given another reminder of why we are totally alone with our G-d. Even with a mitigating factor of an incoming Trump Presidency, the Netanyahu Govt. must unfixate itself from worrying about what the Nations of the World are going to do at the UN Sec Council in the last two weeks of Obamanation's Presidency. Fixating on it won't make things better. 2/3rds of Mankind have the status of spiritual zombies. Politicking at the UN will not save us from that fact. It is only HaShem who in the end destroys the Walking Dead, those who are spiritually dead even though they are still alive. So it is from Him that Netanyahu might find answers, not from any other source, not from Donald Trump or even the righteous gentiles in the Republican controlled Congress. Having said this, now that the last "9 months" have begun with a bang and not a whimper, I would like to publish more often. I plan to, but as I will describe at the end of this post, I need your assistance on this.

The Tanakh's discussion about the effects of Nibiru (if it is to be the agent or cause of it) are the meteoric stones (Avnei Elgavish or "crystallized stones from on high") predicted to befall the armies of GogUMagog who gather against Yerushalayim and the Mountains of Israel in Yechezkel 38:22. Along with fiery hail from held in suspension since the 7th Plague from Yetziat Mitzraim (also in 38:22), these things are meant to be the climax of G-d's war against the wicked at the end of the last nine months of Olam HaZeh as we enter Yemot HaMashiach. According to my deceased friend and tzaddik Dr. Ya'akov Tabak zt"l. The nine months end on the first day of Sukkot after beginning during Tevet. (That would be now.) If the 271 days begin on the tenth of Tevet, then the 271st day is First Day of Sukkot. If the 271 days begin one week later on the 17th of Tevet, next Sunday, then the 271st day is the Day of the Brit Milah for Yemot HaMashiach, Shmini Atzereth. We then repeat the avodah of the hakafot that we did during or immediately following Pesach in 2488 when we marched around the walls of Yericho once each day and seven times on the 7th day of either Pesach or the 28th of Nissan with the blast of the shofar. So at the end of history we repeat the final hakafot to bring the edifice of Olam HaZeh crashing down in the same way that the walls of Yericho fell at the beginning of our history in Eretz Yisrael. In this way we travel over the course of almost 3290 years from when we first entered Eretz Yisrael as a nation in 2488 from Pesach to Sukkot or from Nissan to Tishrei. This explains the mesorah from our Neviim of our hakafot with lulav and etrog around the bimah during Sukkot. This mesorah is so ancient that it even preceded Yechezkel HaNavi. It seems to have come from Eldad and Meidad in the Midbar. So the final destruction of the wicked nations would correspond with the 7th day of hakafot around Yericho when we marched around the city 7 times. That would be on Hoshana Rabbah. With all the emphasis on the number 7 in the hakafot and the number of days of doing hakafot, for this to happen at the end of a year ending in three 7s (5777) would be highly appropriate, and the climax should be on the 7th day itself, Hoshana Rabbah....very fitting.
Regarding Nibiru itself, if this brown dwarf star is the agent or cause of this phenomenon of massive showers of meteoric stones on Hoshana Rabbah, it would have to come from either due north or due south in order to be a surprise when it mysteriously shows up. The gravitational pull and intense magnetic fields would be the agent to cause the meteoric bombardment. It can't come in at an angle because if it did, it would already be showing effects on planetary orbits and perturbations in Kepler's Third Law of Planetary motion. With a second sun coming in, Kepler's 3rd Law would cease being true, and that would be an international news story. So in order to hide itself, the vector of intense gravity has to be from due south or due north in order to not perturb planetary motions in the interim until it shows up. Coming in from due north or south gives Nibiru the element of surprise, if indeed this is what is happening. If it is meant to pass by and not hit earth directly which is most likely the case, the safest place to be when it shows up is at the South Pole which would be paradoxically further away from the passing star when it passes. There happens to be a massive series of unused bunkers at the Amundsen Scott South Pole research facility that the Ba'al Kerry visited on US election day when he thought that no one was paying attention. The State Dept Website records that he left Washington on November 7th, mysteriously or supposedly did nothing for two days, and then visited two research facilities investigating global warming in Antarctica including Amundsen Scott and McMurdo Stations from November 10 through 12th. On November 13th he was off to New Zealand to discuss dividing Yerushalayim at the UNSC which will at the end of 9 months cause the elites to enter these hidden bunkers when Nibiru supposedly passes by AS A DIRECT RESULT OF DIVIDING Yerushalayim!!!. It is funny that the vote in the UNSC which New Zealand co-sponsored was meant to take place on December 31st (2nd of Tevet), but it was voted on one week early so that the elites could go home to partake of their profane 8 day celebration of the birth and brit milah of Oto Ish. The Ba'al Kerry is truly the cause of a series of amazing accidents such as when he ran for President and Massachusetts by happenstance (kerry) becomes the first American State to approve of homosexual marriage. So if this reading is right, either the final nine months began one or two weeks early, or Sweden and France (at their Piece Conference of the 70 nations) will really trigger the final pregnancy by making matters worse over the next two weeks. Sweden starts their two year membership of the UNSC on January 2nd, and by happenstance they were given the presidency of the Council in January while Obama is still President.....all during the month of Tevet 5777.

I understand that if a terrorist is taken down or captured it is unlikely proper to finish the job. However, there is another way to deal with them.
I recall reading that when the French and British divide the Middle East they ran into trouble because families were divided between Palestine and Syria. Arabs started attaching British soldiers. To put down the riots the British buried the dead in the carcass of pigs. That quickly restored order.
What we should all carry is a small spray bottle of " non-kosher" water. The water will be treated with a drop of pig blood. As soon as possible people will spray the person and then laugh as the police take him away. Should the police demand the spray for testing they will find nothing since a drop of blood in a hundred gallon preparation is unlikely to be found.

So heart wrenching to see how your prophecy about 10 Tevet materialized.
Yet there's so much hope in the air. Judging by last week's tremendous awakening of the Israeli public, today's tragedy will really spark a turning point.
What happened on the tenth of Teiveis? Nevuchadnetzar, the evil King of Bavel, surrounded Jerusalem, initiating a siege and precipice" (Rambam, Hilchos Taanis 5:2)
The Midrash Tanchuma (Tazria 9) teaches that it was already fitting for the Beis HaMikdash to actually be destroyed on Asara B’Teves, but Hashem, in His incredible mercy, pushed the destruction off to the summertime, so that we would not have to be exiled in the cold. Hence, Asarah B’Teiveis’s role as the ‘beginning of the end’ underlies the severity of this fast day.
However, the tenth of Teiveis does not commemorate a tragedy that happened in the past.
What do I mean? The Chasam Sofer (Toras Moshe, Drush 30, 7th of Adar 'כתוב') says that just like any generation that the Beis Hamikdosh is not rebuilt is as if it was destroyed (see Yerushalmi, Yuma 1:1), so too every year on the tenth of Teives which was the beginning of the destruction, we are judged and a decree is put forth if the Beis HaMikdosh will be rebuilt this year.
• One the three months that the Strict Justice prevails in the world is Teives (Zohar, Shemos 12a).
• The days of Teiveis are days of hester [when G-d hides his countenance] (Sefas Emes, Chanukah 5650).
• The Zohar says, "From the seventeenth day of Tishrei until the tenth of Teiveis, this is the time when all the curses come upon the nations of the world. On tenth of Teiveis will be the extinction of the nations of the world" (Pinchas 258b).
Will the Zohar's words come to fruition? Only time will tell. Hashem is bringing our exile to a close at a pace that's becoming faster and faster like the technology that's evolving today.
Just for clarification purposes, here are the first four verses of the last chapter of Melachim Bet (II Kings):
א וַיְהִי בִשְׁנַת הַתְּשִׁיעִית לְמָלְכוֹ, בַּחֹדֶשׁ הָעֲשִׂירִי בֶּעָשׂוֹר לַחֹדֶשׁ, בָּא נְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּר מֶלֶךְ-בָּבֶל הוּא וְכָל-חֵילוֹ עַל-יְרוּשָׁלִַם, וַיִּחַן עָלֶיהָ; וַיִּבְנוּ עָלֶיהָ דָּיֵק, סָבִיב. 1 And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month (Tevet), in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and encamped against it; and they built forts against it round about.

ד וַתִּבָּקַע הָעִיר, וְכָל-אַנְשֵׁי הַמִּלְחָמָה הַלַּיְלָה דֶּרֶךְ שַׁעַר בֵּין הַחֹמֹתַיִם אֲשֶׁר עַל-גַּן הַמֶּלֶךְ, וְכַשְׂדִּים עַל-הָעִיר, סָבִיב; וַיֵּלֶךְ, דֶּרֶךְ הָעֲרָבָה. 4 Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war [fled] by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden--now the Chaldeans were against the city round about--and the king went by the way of the Arabah.
Now we know that according to the Oral Torah (1st mishnah in Rosh HaShanah), we count the years of Jewish Kings from Rosh Chodesh Nissan. So Nebuchadnezzar arrived on the 10th of Tevet of the 9th year of King Tzidkiyahu (Zeddekiah), and he breached the wall on the 9th of Tamuz in the 11th year of King Tzidkiyahu. So the siege actually lasted 1 1/2 years ending in the summer of the following year, that is until the 9th of Tamuz in the year that Nebuchadnezzar arrived was one more year of the king's reign since Nissan is crossed going from winter (Tevet) into summer (Tamuz). That would take one from the 9th year to the tenth year of his reign. Add one more year to reach the summer of the following year. From this we see that the siege actually lasted 1 & 1/2 years.
So the question might be asked, why did HaShem add another year to the siege when 6 months would have sufficed to send Israel into exile during the summer instead of during the winter? The answer comes from Shemot 25 verse 8.
ח וְעָשׂוּ לִי, מִקְדָּשׁ; וְשָׁכַנְתִּי, בְּתוֹכָם. 8 And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. which is the command to build a Temple to HaShem, not just a temporary Mishkan which could be described as a tent not a Miqdash. Miqdash has more permanence to it than the temporary dwelling called a Mishkan.
So either HaShem would have dwelt in Shlomo's Temple forever if we had merited it (which we did not), or as the pasuk says, "Make Me a sanctuary, I, the Shekhinah will dwell Tav Yud. Tav Yud is 410 years. So The First Temple had to stand for at least 410 years before it could be destroyed. In the first summer after the Babylonian siege began on the tenth of Tevet, only 409 years had passed since the dedication of Shlomo's Temple. Another year had to pass before the Temple could be destroyed.
Then from the same word שָׁכַנְתִּי, we can extract the word Sheini שָׁנְי, which tells us that the 2nd Temple would stand with miracles but without the Shekhina for Tav Kaf (420) years.
And for you pesky Secular dating aficionados, one can calculate that the 2nd Temple stood from 516 bce until the year 70 ce -1 year because there was no Gregorian year 0. That adds up to 585 years and not a mere 420 years. The famous 165 year discrepancy problem was a pet project of the last Rav Shimon Schwab zt"l who put forth the possible scenario that the Persian Empire lasted for 165 years longer than Chaza"l say it did. He believed that 165 years were hidden from public view by Daniel, who shut and sealed the books dealing with these lost years until the time of the End.
ט וַיֹּאמֶר, לֵךְ דָּנִיֵּאל: כִּי-סְתֻמִים וַחֲתֻמִים הַדְּבָרִים, עַד-עֵת קֵץ. 9 And he said: 'Go thy way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end.
Why these 165 years were hidden by Daniel? Study what Rav Schwab has to say about this matter. There were good reasons why he may have done this, but I did not want to cover that material in this blog post. It is very complex, a field of study into of itself. The gematriah, by the way, of Daniel's secret (Sod Daniel סוד דניאל ) is 165.
So, is Mashiach coming before the next Rosh Hashanah?
Does that mean that according to Rav Schwab it is not really 5777 but 5942?
And that Shmittah was Not really 2 years ago, but now? (B'Motzei Shviít Mashiach Bah)?

I am "new" follower of your blog so obviously Hachem has directed me to you and I am thankful to Hashem for this move.
For the time being I still live in "Routz la Haarets" much against my will though.
I am very much concerned about the situation of Jews living in Gola when final judgement comes and the old world will be swept off. Do you know what will happen to them/us? We are trying to spend the coming sukkot in Erets Israël as the only place for a Jew is in Erets Israel and especially during critical time.
Would you have any recommandation in this respect?
Btw, I have read years ago a comment on a blog about Hochaana Rabba 5778 being the date decided by Hashem to wipe out the old world.

The exact date of Mashiach's arrival during or immediately upon conclusion of the "nine months" is impossible to predict in advance. There are varying opinions on whether it is Mashiach who fights the final battles in Yechezkel 38 or 39 during Sukkot at the end of the 9 months or if it is G-d Himself who fights those final battles, only after which Mashiach shows up. We seem to have one hint though which is one of the Mitigating (MeMatek or sweetening) factors in this process, that we entered the "50th Gate" or Shaar Nun already by last Shavuot 5776, the beginning of the 50th year since the Unification of Yerushalayim during the 6 Day War. At that time Sefirat HaOmar Mateen entered that Gay Bar in Orlando and slaughtered 49 homosexuals while he himself became the 50th dead body in that bar at Alot HaShachar on Tikkun Leil Shavuot. So we see from that that Edom, or its spiritual Middle third of its culture, entered -50 or the Abyss on that infamous night propelling Israel into the 50th Gate by virtue of our spiritual see saw with Malkhut Edom. (When Edom lies in spiritual ruin, Israel is spiritually rebuilt.) Apparently so few of us deserved it though, through working on ourselves during the previous 49 years of the Ba'al teshuvah movement from the 6 Day War, that HaShem has waited these additional 7 months to finally begin actualizing this by forcing this process along. So according to Rav Chaim Vital, Mashiach should already be amongst us and revealed while we are within the 50th Gate which we entered already 7 months ago.... Time is short. more later....

The mystery of the missing 165 years from Jewish history is a far more complex subject though. I would need to restudy the Books of Ezra/Nechemiah in light of what Rav Shimon Schwab zt"l wrote and understood himself about that very difficult and confusing period of the Persian Exile. two quick points.
1. If Daniel shut and sealed those sefarim dealing with the missing 165 years, then those 165 years were in a sense "removed from history" and in no way are counted in the 5777 years of World History since Adam was kicked out of Gan Eden and historical records were written down. Prior to Adam receiving his neshamah, no one could talk or speak so that history was really pre-history since nothing could be written down. Beings who cannot talk cannot write either. So if sefarim dealing with 165 years of history are "shut and sealed" away by Divine decree (see Sefer Daniel 12. It was a Divine command.), then those 165 years are not counted in the years of world history. I believe that Rav Schwab zt"l did discuss this in his writings on the subject.
2. The reasons why this 165 year period of World History as it applies to Israel would have been shut and sealed away were also discussed by Rav Schwab. We were engaging in lowly behavior even after constructing the 2nd Temple. We had taken on gentile wives that needed to be divorced. All was not well. Please consult what he wrote about this. I do not desire to make this very complex subject a subject of discussion on this post at least. It would take a blog and a half to cover this subject properly.
For instance in the annals of the Persian Monarchs, Cambyses II is listed as the son of Koreish and his heir. Then came Daryavush whose father is thought to be not from royalty by Persian historians. Achashveirosh of the Purim story (Xerses I in Greek) is listed as the son of Daryavush who succeeded Cambyses. Jewish chronology lists Achashveirosh as Daryavush's father and Esther as his mother. It cannot be both. And this chronological blip between the two historical records gives us a hint into what period of history was "shut and sealed" away, but what Daniel shut and sealed away cannot be known fully at this time until Mashiach comes since what was shut and sealed cannot be known, by definition. Be at peace with that, or delve into its mystery by studying Rav Schwab's work on this issue.

The King of Kings, the Holy One leads the world with justice and truth. Everything that the Creator makes in this world -even when we don't see and don't know the future - all God ways are hidden-, are in favor of Israel the Holy land and for the Jews living in Israel. The Creator is cleaning and purifying the whole world, making it pure and clean a world that we didn't know, a world of righteousness and truth. A world where all follow the Ten Commandments. A world of free love, where everyone is helping each other without interest.
In order to build this new world, the Creator is destroying the old one because you can't build a new world on an old one, it is impossible to build a new house on an old one. Since the establishment of Israel, in 1948, the Creator began to build the new world.
The Creator expects from the Jews He chose to keep the commandments, to have pity and love each other. Every Jew who loves Jews is losing Klippot and purifies himself and the way to big success is being open for him.
The suffering felt by the Jews in their body, is hurting the animal spirit within them. Pure and holy souls accept suffering with love. The animal spirit in human being enjoys lust and forbidden things and the pure soul enjoys the sacred Torah scrolls, prayer, ethics and free love. While the pure and holy soul is busy studying Torah, praying and working on repairing his defaults, the animal spirit within him is suffering a lot and make resistance so the Jew will not take the right path. This is today the battle that the Jews must fight and is created by the yetzer Hara. And you will choose life-the right path.
This is the last period of suffering for the people of Israel. No more suffering, only better.
Messiah is in advanced stages. The hidden light is covering him, the "Yechida "is covering him. Everyone feels the signs of the Messiah through the forces of nature and the problems in the entire world. There will be difficulties and problems to passenger planes, there will be many glitches and disruptions.
Everyone is waiting for the Messiah, many know who the Messiah is, there's only now the need of getting publicly known.
In heaven they are also waiting and they are also waiting on earth.
In truth, the world needs Messiah; the whole world is in trouble.
The Creator will decide when to discover him in public!

Here is another example to elucidate the idea why we need to be at peace without knowing the lack of confluence between historical events and the evidence for them. I had the privilege of driving Rav Akiva Tatz Shlit"a one year from S. Louis to Chicago immediately after a Sunday Lag b'Omer picnic in a local University City, MO park. I remember this because while at this picnic, I was asked to do this for Rav Tatz since we were traveling to Chicago to look at 220 Volt appliances at a well known supplier there, for our impending Aliyah. So this probably was in 2003 just before we made Aliyah. Can you imagine what it would be like to have Rav Tatz in your car for five hours?? Well we did, and we talked and listened about every subject under the sun. We even talked about the confluence between Torah and Science when it comes to understanding the Creation of the World and the Big Bang and its aftermath. At the very end of our trip, I popped the question about the Great Flood. Why is it that, if there was a world cleansing flood just over 4100 years ago within our historical purview of the 5777 years of the Generations of Adam, there is so little physical evidence on the Globe that such a Flood ever took place just 4100 years ago? I mean, there is so, so much evidence for the Creation of the World in G-d's reference frame over the course of 6 of His 24 hour days. We have discussed the work of Dr. Gerald Schroeder on this blog multiple times before. All the evidence is there. G-d had nothing to hide, and actually hid nothing. Yet, for the Great Flood just over 4100 years ago, there is so little evidence. As a matter of fact, there is conflicting evidence such as there being only prehensile tail monkeys in South America while in Africa, monkeys do not have a prehensile tail. How did the monkeys from South America get home from Mt. Ararat after the Flood? Did they walk across the bitterly cold Bering Strait and then head south for South America? How did it happen? And mind you only monkeys with prehensile tails made the trip to S. America. The ones without prehensile tails knew better and headed straight back to Africa.
And then as we approached Lake Michigan, I popped the Big Question. Look Rav Tatz, here is the largest system of fresh water lakes in the entire world. South-western Lake Michigan is the tip of the lake system called the Great Lakes. After the Flood surely these lakes were filled with salt because ocean water and fresh water sources mixed with each other during the Flood even as the flood waters receded. Where is all the salt that should be in the Great Lakes after the Great Flood? He looked at me, and his last blessing to me was that I would one day find out the answer to that specific question. And oh boy, did I!.... several years later...... to be continued. This is worth it.
A few years later, I was speaking to a friend here in Israel about this very subject of the Great Flood and the lack of physical evidence for the worldwide deluge. He shared with me that according to a medrash, Noach was already traumatized that G-d had destroyed the entire world with Water. Everything that he knew from the antediluvian world was gone. He had spent 600 years or most of his life living in the pre-Flood world. He could not live in the Brave New post-Flood world without having at least some issues with PTSD as we would call it today. Even the narrative in the Torah explaining that Noach planted a vineyard and then got drunk supports this idea that Noach right after the Flood was severely traumatized by the events of the year of the Flood and everything that was wiped away. All his friends and family gone except for his wife and three sons. Cousins, Uncles, nephews, and the blacksmith or the baker down the street, everyone gone and almost forgotten. So HaShem did a kindness for him. He actually hid the physical evidence that He had just destroyed the world. So unlike the evidence for the Creation of the World which is there for everyone to see, the evidence for the Great Flood has for the most part been hidden from view, tucked away so that wherever Noach walked he would not see evidence staring him in his face that the previous world had been swept away. So how about Lake Michigan? I then found out that the largest supply of saltwater salt, free of fossils, just so happens to be almost immediately underneath the lake bed of Lake Michigan!!!! So the largest freshwater source of water on the planet exists on top of the tons and tons of salt that have only about 4100 years ago been squeezed out of the water that it had so inconveniently mixed with during the Great Flood!! And that is also why it is free of fossils. The salt had only mixed with the freshwater of the Great Lakes during the Flood, leaving no time for animals to die and then petrify in the water that already had covered the earth for almost 40 days. There was definitely not "millions of years" of prehistoric animal life in that salt-water which only mixed with the fresh water for several months 4100 years ago. So Rav Akiva Tatz's brachah came to fruition. And till this day, I have come to accept that if G-d hid the evidence, He did it for a purpose, and because it was He doing it, we were not meant to find out all the answers that He Himself has hidden away. So most of the salt is underneath the Great Lakes in the Detroit area and in northern Ohio underneath Lake Erie. Vast Deposits of Salt 1000 to 2000 feet beneath Lake Erie Now that is eerie!

My point above was that HaShem wanted that unique species development to return to those two island nations, one of which is a continent, in order to convince Noach that at least the Animal Kingdom was as it was before the Flood. Seeing species all jumbled up after the Flood would have been too traumatic for Noach who was already traumatized. And yes he had PTSD. But in the meantime I want to point out that much of modern science seems to lean heavily on the assumption that the rate of change of any part of the universe was in the distant past similar to what it has been since science started measuring it.
This is clearly no more than an educated guess. Alternative models that negate this assumption can be built which can scientifically describe the universe just as good, if not better, than the common accepted model based on the above assumption.
For instance see the VSL (variable speed of light) theory.
I'm quite sure that the rate of genetic changes in the human species was much considerably faster 4000 years ago than it has been for the past several centuries.

So skulls or vertebra which are not metals should survive well in a bed of salt. As a matter of fact, salt acts as a preservative over exceedingly long intervals of time for most things immersed in it....except for metal where saltwater is a catalyst for corrosion via oxidation/ reduction reactions such as the bottom of one's car exposed to road salts.
Also as long as the variety within the species is pre-existent within any gene pool (that is the key), even without mutations which are usually detrimental to the species survival, the variety within the species based on the environment where the species exists can become evident over the course of just four or five generations. Within the human species that would be under 200 years. So 4100 years is plenty of time for the variety within the human species already present in the gene pool to express itself because of the environment that human beings might exist in. Equatorial environments would favor people with genes for darker skin, and temperate environments would favor people with lighter skin. Darker skin is necessary to avoid cancers when exposed to excess sunlight for instance. Also for those who crossed over the Himalayas to get to the Far East from the Tower of Bavel, more squinted eye shapes acted as a protection against snow blindness and other eye diseases when crossing over four to five mile high mountain ranges. Or for those from northern climes, the slanted eye shapes protected the eye from weather within the tundra which was similar to weather in the Himalayas. These minor differences within the human species were self-evident and pre-existent in the gene pool of Adam HaRishon and future generations.
You know about the survival of the moths around the City of Manchester, England during the Industrial Revolution, don't you? Originally before 1760, the vast majority of these moths were white, but with the arrival of soot on the trees because of the large scale burning of coal as a result of the Indus. Revolution, within 100 years the vast majority of moths that survived were black winged because the blended in to the bark of the soot laden trees and were less likely to be eaten by predators. So the environmental change of soot laden trees favored the pre-existing gene of black winged moths. G-d had already favored the species for survival in various environments by allowing for pre-existing variety in the gene pools of species including the human species.

Looking back at Jewish history there is always a special danger when Jews seek senior power positions in Galus. Nowadays this is very current in the USA, but also in Europe. They often want to prove their allegiance with their country of residency and thus tend to go against the interest of Eretz Yisroel and the Jewish nation. And even when they do this they cause the envy of their Gentile peers and the regular citizens, especially when the state of their nation goes bad thus amplifying antisemitism. There are indications that a compromise is afoot regarding the moving of the American embassy to Jerusalem.
According to a report, the new Ambassador David Friedman will work from Jerusalem, while the embassy itself will remain in Tel Aviv.
For most of the period of the formation of the salt bed, it was too salty to support much life. You can see it at the dead sea; it is dead, there is no life. The few animals that somehow fall into a very salt sea, on its way to a salt bed, would float rather than sink, and slowly decompose.

Meir: I am not sure that Jared Kushner's new role came as a result of desiring to sit at the table of a king or President. His father-in-law was only one of 17 different Republican candidates who started out running for the nomination. I am sure that while Trump was sure of his ultimate victory as the nominee, his candidacy was likely considered by even his own family to be a long shot. He had to sink the ship of established Senators such as Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Marco Rubio and former and current Governors Jeb Bush, John Kasich, Jim Gilmore, and Chris Christie. Apparently, Trump values his son-in-law's advice. So the One who ultimately controls our fate wanted Jared Kushner where he is at this time. I don't think that Kushner actively sought to be a Presidential adviser. If his father-in-law had not won, he would have not ventured far from New York real estate.
I forgot to mention our good friend of Israel former Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee and of course former Senator Rick St. Iram (that would be Santorum). Trump beat them too.

I paraphrase below from a Chabad article by Shaul Wolf, the URL of which is under my adapted text.
Og was a Rephaim (A Tribe of Giants) and there is discussion he was the only one of the Rephaim to survive the flood, by clinging onto the side of the Ark.
The article suggests to look at Talmud Niddah 61a and the Ramban on Bereshit 6:4, and Pirkei D’Rabbi Eliezer 23.
Rashi Talmud Zevachim 123b speculates Og stood throughout the flood.
Talmud Zevachim 113b speculates that Hashem made the waters around the Ark tepid rather than boiling to enable the Ark to sail through the waters and for Og to survive.
When summing up the damage caused by the Flood, the Torah says, “Only Noah and those with him in the ark survived.”
If you take the Hebrew words אך נח, “only Noah,” and add up their numerical value, you get 79.
Guess what other word has the numerical value of 79? You got it. It’s Og.
Eliezer - Same goes for him according to some sources, he “hitched a lift” on the Ark.
Some say he and Og were the same person.

Rav Schwab changed his mind on the 165 years.
In the book Selected Speeches (1991), there is an addendum to the original article that talked about the 165 years. He says that he thought about it long and hard for decades since the original publication, and he has decided that he believes that the calculations of Chazal and that the second temple stood for 420 years. He says that just as goyishe historians have revised their theories about numerous other topics, surely they will here as well, and the version of Chazal will ultimately be proven correct.
Maybe Pence will be President...looks like something BIG is brewing.

Yosef: Rav Schwab zt"l was one of the towering giants of the previous generation. I am sure that he made up his mind at the end for the purpose of pursuing Emeth. That is without question. As you said, he spent decades trying to reconcile those 165 years between the secular and the Torah's dating in Seder HaOlam. In the end he honestly made a decision that Chaza"l's dating and king lineage would prove to be correct, but he did not provide us with the reasons, laid out in logical, proof convincing format, why he came to that conclusion. Previously, his papers written about the matter were well researched and well sourced. His thought process of the previous decades was clearly laid out, but in the end he changed his mind without a similar rigorous presentation for publication on why he changed his mind. This leaves us with the conclusion that his original thesis may yet prove to be correct...., or it may not. I am sure that he had his reasons why he did not present a rigorous proof of why his previous conclusions were invalid. I had heard that the one main concern of Rav Schwab was that the 165 years is not divisible by seven. So accepting them as missing years would throw off the Shmittah and Yovel cycles, if those years appeared in the interim period of time AFTER Ezra reset the Shmittah and Yovel cycles near the beginning of the 2nd Temple period. But what might actually be the case is that those 165 years occurred BEFORE Ezra showed up to reset the Shmittah and Yovel cycles. If that were the case, then those 165 years would not upset the cycles re-established by Ezra. So the conclusion right now is that we really don't know if those years were hidden by Daniel or if the secular dating is simply off by 165 years. Right now, no conclusion can be drawn for sure. We won't know until Mashiach shows up and those books from Sefer Daniel are unsealed and opened. I simply posed the problem and what was at least for several decades one possible solution to it.
Leah: None of these calculations affect the timetable at the End of Days, for if those 165 years were removed (notice the word IF), they were removed in such a way that it does not affect that our present year is now and still is 5777. When I first talked about this subject above, I wrote: The famous 165 year discrepancy problem was a pet project of the last Rav Shimon Schwab zt"l who put forth the possible scenario that the Persian Empire lasted for 165 years longer than Chaza"l say it did. He believed that 165 years were hidden from public view by Daniel, who shut and sealed the books dealing with these lost years until the time of the End. Notice the word, Possible. No conclusions on whether this actually occurred were made here, and then I pointed out that the year 5777 would still be 5777 either way. It is just on this blog, I like to thoroughly cover all angles of a subject before moving on. more a bit later...

According to Eruvim there are a bunch of knotty questions in halakhah that the nascent Sanhedrin has been waiting 2500 years for the appropriate answers to. He will come to help them through the sugyas in the Gemorrah where the conclusion is, "Well let's wait until Eliyahu shows up to get the answer." Of course, the various authors and contributors of the Talmud likely did not anticipate that the Galut would last 2000 years. So they did not anticipate that the Sanhedrin would be disbanded for at least 1600 years. So Eliyahu has to start from scratch. He first has to get 71 of the most worthy of men to sit on the esteemed institution of our National legislature and High Court of Jurisprudence. The Sanhedrin has had both roles in the ancient past, and should have both roles in the future. In addition, Eliyahu has an additional role to play, "To return the hearts of fathers onto their sons, and the hearts of sons to their fathers." This too can't be done in one day. It would likely even take more than two weeks or even two months to accomplish this. So Eliyahu must at least show up a considerable amount of time in advance to set up the Sanhedrin of the Messianic Era and to prepare the nation for teshuvah before the Great and Awesome Day of the L-rd (that would be Hoshana Rabbah). Will Mashiach be here in the interim? That answer to that question is probably yes, but cannot really be known in advance until events begin to transpire. The time of his anointing will likely be very similar to the anointing of David by Shmuel HaNavi. But whether it will be a private event or it will be a worldwide public event witnessed by hundreds of millions of viewers on Youtube cannot be known in advance. I hope this helps.

I excluded the UN itself from this list since the UN represents all the nations which would correspond to Ya'akov himself and not his progeny. The Arab League (22 nations), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation which has (57 members including Palestine), and the European Union were listed as separate countries. So why is this?
Now notice that pasuk. It says that there were 70 souls from the loins of Yaakov. Yet Yosef (and his two sons) were in Mitzraim already. So in reality 67 souls went down with Ya'akov to Mitzraim.. This corresponds with the actual 67 listed nations. The three souls Yosef and his two sons that were down there already correspond to the three Leagues or Groups of other nations that were at this conference. This corresponds to the fact that Yosef's birthstone on the Avnei Miluim is the Shoham (black onyx) which is also the same stone for the names of all twelve sons of Ya'akov. So Yosef in a sense includes the other tribes too. This is why Mashiach ben Yosef can come from any of the shevatim. This would explain the fact that the French assumed that three organizations that represent several countries were each counted as one of the 70 nations.
Now after comparing Tomer Devorah's list with the list in the French brochure, she originally forgot to include Luxembourg and Tunisia, which she may have since corrected. Adding those two countries and counting the United States once, gives us the exact total of 68 countries + France herself who were at this Paris Conference = 69 countries who participated. Yet, Great Britain dropped out either because of pressure from Trump or because Theresa May does not want to get that full of hate against Israel in diplomatic circles as Trump enters office. So minus Great Britain we still have 68 countries who authored a final statement with 69 nations total in attendance. Add to either 68 or 69 countries involved the three international organizations (not including the UN itself who corresponds with Ya'akov himself and is not counted) to give us a grand total of 72 nations and international organizations total (69 nations + 3 organizations who are groups of countries). This would correspond even better with the Septuagint (72 sages, 6 from each tribe) who translated the Torah into Greek about 2300 years ago at which time Darkness came upon the World.

Here is one more calculation of the last 9 months of Olam HaZeh. If we count 271 days, that are the precise length of gestation of the human egg until birth in the Gemorrah in Niddah, from the tenth of Tevet we arrive to the First Day of Sukkot. The "Birth" of the Messianic Era according to this calculation would be on this First Day of Sukkot and would end with the Brit Milah of the Messianic Era on Shmini Atzereth, 7 days later. This is the classic traditional calculation that is an Oral tradition of Chaza"l according to the deceased tzaddik Dr. Ya'akov Tabak zt"l. The day before the Brit Milah of the Messianic Era, ALL the gentile nations of the World are judged in one massive firestorm of fiery hail and meteoric stones (avnei elgavish) on that Great and Awesome Day of the L-rd, Hoshana Rabbah.
Yet, if the actual birth of the Messianic Era was precisely 271 Shmittah cycles after the Destruction of the 2nd Temple in the year 70ce, we would arrive at 271 x 7 years = 1897 years later. 70 + 1897 years = 1967 ce precisely, the year of the 6 Day War and the reunification of Yerushalayim. In this calculation each Shmittah cycle is like one day of the pregnancy. This is based on Chazal who say that when the 2nd Temple was destroyed, Mashiach was conceived. So the "birth" of the Messianic Era was at the very beginning of the 271st Shmittah cycle or day of that pregnancy. Count 7 more Shmittah cycles from 5727 (1967) to the Shmittah cycle of the Brit Milah, and we arrive at this Shmittah cycle that we are now in. And we are in the 2nd year of the Shmittah cycle of the Brit Milah. So the "baby" called the Messianic Era has been born already in 1967 (5727) although that "baby" has not yet been sanctified to Divine Service. That only takes place with the Brit Milah on Day 8. Until then the Orlah of the Erev Rav remains attached to the Holy Nation. So the 6 days of the 6 day War only speak of the physical liberating of our ancient holy places, and they have not yet been re-sanctified for G-d's holy purposes. That only happens at the Brit Milah which according the our Oral tradition takes place on Shmini Atzereth at the end of our exile and immediately after the final judgement on the nations of the world. If we count 271 days inclusive from the date of the Paris International Pieces Conference of the 72 nations and Group of nations, we arrive precisely at that day of Shmini Atzereth 5778.

So why does the Messianic Era begin in the 3rd year of the Shmittah cycle of the Brit Milah (5776- 5782)? Why should the Messianic Era begin in the 3rd year of that cycle? It comes from the following: From the Zohar we see that Yishmael was given Eretz Yisrael in honor of his "mitzvah" observance of accepting at the age of 13 brit milah upon himself. As an adult of 13 he was given a great reward for accepting this upon himself. He was given 13 centuries of control of Eretz Yisrael and Yerushalayim. In reality he was given his "this worldly" reward for 26 Yovel cycles where each Yovel cycle's 50th year is the first year of the next cycle. That would be a total of 98 years for each of his truncated centuries instead of 100 full years because each Yovel cycle is only 49 years long. This is the case because the condition of marking Yovel as a unique 50th year during the 2nd Temple period, as established as a takanah by Ezra the Scribe, was that the 2nd Temple would still be standing. Once the 2nd Temple was destroyed, the Yovel cycles went from lasting 50 full years to 49 years where, again, the Yovel year was the first year of the next cycle. So Omar's Arab Conquest of Yerushalayim took place in the year 636 or 637ce. The first "Yovel" year at the beginning of his conquest was the year 644ce (4404). Here is Gedalia's chart. Counting precisely 26 Yovel cycles or 13 truncated 98 year centuries, we arrive precisely at the Hebrew Yovel year 5678 (Fall 1917 - 1918). So that Fall in November and December, Yishmael's brachah, his reward for doing imperfect brit milah, came to a halt. PM David Lloyd Gog of Great Britain conquered Yerushalayim from the Turks on eve of Chanukah. At that moment, the name Palestine, Hadrian's renaming of Eretz Yisrael after the extinct Philistine nation, extinct from the 8th Century bce, was resurrected. This is therefore a very important calculation. If the last 98 years from 1918 corresponds to precisely this one year from the besorah of the three angels until Yitzchak's birth, then 98 years/ 365 of Avraham's days = .2685 years per day of Avraham and Yishmael/Yitzchak. .2685 years x 365 of our days/ year = 98 days which is approx 3 1/3 Gregorian months. So the two days from the Brit Milah of Avraham and Yishmael to the day of the besorah tovah of the three angels correspond to 6 2/3rd Gregorian months. So while the conquest of David Lloyd Gog was in the late Fall/ early Winter (December) of 1917, the actual time of the besorah that Yitzchak would be born was just under 7 months later, in June or July of 1918. 98 years later was this past Summer of 2016, again in July of 2016, almost immediately after the massacre in Orlando, Florida and the murders in KaleivLand, Eretz Yisrael, when we entered Sha'ar HaNun, the 50th Gate while Edom reached the -50th Gate in Orlando. That was the time of the "birth" of Yitzchak according to this calculation. Inside the 50th Gate, the process intensifies over the course of the next "7 days" until the Brit Milah. 7 days x 98 days/ day of Avraham/ Yitzchak is another one year and 321 days from the time of entering the 50th Gate. That is 1 year and 10 1/2 months later from the Summer of 5776 (2016). That is Pesach through Isru Chag Pesach of 5778, the appointed time for the Brit Milah of Yitzchak Avinu b'Rachamim.
Rav Chaim Vital zt"l wrote about the 6 months between Sukkot and Pesach in the year of the Final Redemption. That discussion is for a later hour at another time, and is difficult to understand because it requires understanding what happens in the prior nine months leading to the Sukkot before that Pesach. The important thing to understand is why the Brit Milah of the Messianic Era takes place in the third year of this Shmittah cycle if this is to be the case b'itah. G-d willing it has become more and more evident that we have arrived, and more and more it seems that the suffering right before it has been mitigated.

When you brought up the Arab League likely being a listing of those Semitic nations that descended from the people who were mixed up by Senchariv, it got me thinking back to the subject of the Erev Rav.
While the Erev Rav (and Erev Zeir) are today considered to be a segment of heretical Jews, enemies with Jewish ancestry or a bad aspect within every Jew depending on which opinion one holds by.
What if it actually refers to the Arabs of North Africa and the Levant who as a result of being conquered by the Yishmaelite Arab Empire, are not really true Arabs in essence (like those from the Arabia peninsula) but rather a mixed group of conquered peoples (Greeks, Berbers, Punics, etc) forcibly Arabized / Islamized and made to accept a colonized view of their own history with no attachment to their pre-Islamic history (known as a jahiliyya) whereas the Xian world at least retains some degree of attachment to its national roots / origins.
Perhaps it is a combination of both, with the Erev Rav being the non-nation described in Devarim 32:21 since many Arab states are in essence artificial creations without history with the only exception being Egypt.

Wow: I have a friend in Tel Tzion, or who works in Tel Tzion, who told me that he has a computer program to find names using the Roshei Teivot (acronym of first letters) and the Sofei Teivot (acronym of final letters) of all the pasukim in Tana"kh. He plugged Trump into the computer program, looking for where Trump's last name is spelled in Tanakh either as a first letter or final letter acronym. Trump in Hebrew is spelled with a Tet since T from a foreign non-Hebrew name is always spelled with a Tet. So Trump is spelled טראמפ or טראמף. So on a lark, he plugged in Trump's name in Hebrew into the computer program to see if there were an p'sukim with those letters as the Roshei Teivot or the Sofei Teivot. Lo and behold only one pasuk in the entire Tana"kh was churned out by this program, and it was with those letters as the Sofei Teivot. It is from Tehillim 78.

Feet of iron and clay: Partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided (revived Rome, a perfect description of the EU today).
Astounding, isn’t it? Daniel gave an account of the Gentile empires that would dominate the world all the way to the end of the age. The current structure of the EU will one day give way to 10 divisions each with a king (leader).
The eleventh king will trample the earth Daniel 7:23-25.
Dov, you wrote previously that Mashiach ben Yosef can come from any of the Shvatim. This is in accordance with Yaakov appointing Yosef's 2 sons to be Shvatim in his place, and elevating Yosef to be one of the 7 Shepherds.
But in order to qualify for Mashiach ben Yosef, one would have to be perfect in Yosef's attribute: Yesod. It seems elementary that anyone who even once in his lifetime had the slightest blemish in this aspect would be disqualified. And since our generation is incredibly weak in this regard, but is still the generation of Geula, Mashiach ben Yosef is forced to manifest himself as a spiritual force, not embodied in a specific person (as I think you pointed out several times on this blog).
In contrast, Mashiach ben David must descend directly from David, as Hashem promised him. And his job is completely different. While Yosef's job is Amida BeNisayon - to stand fast and not fail in the hardest of challenges and tests, David's is Bitul: to continue serving Hashem joyfully even after failing the test , knowing that it’s Hashem’s will that I should fail (I heard this beautiful distinction from Rav Ofer Erez). Many in our generation, especially Baalei Teshuva, can qualify for this aspect, and as such will soon be ordained as the soldiers of Beit David.

I understand the aspect of being sad that things aren't happening on a huge scale version so people would admit across the board that Moshiach is arriving and we are in fact in the end of the end of days. Each life that Hashem takes from us is so painful so we should rather the faith come from ourselves without outright Armageddon to inspire us. Hashem is giving us extra time to work on ourselves and let's not waste it and prefer such chaos where we would be too busy worrying about survival to grow spiritually from our own effort. It's all good! We are promised a surprise at the end so don't worry - the wow factor will come in the right time!

If Israel had not sinned with the Golden Calf, then Mashiach ben Yosef would have had everlasting kingship in the World to Come, but since we did sin with the Golden Calf and since we are still doing teshuvah for that original sin for the last 3329 years (and since we will STILL be doing teshuvah for that in the Messianic Era until Techiyat HaMeitim too!) Mashiach ben David from Sheivet Yehudah was given the everlasting Malkhut. It has to do with the fact that Yehudah was the fourth son. The first son Reuven was flowing with Chessed, not much Din. The second son Shimon was all Din, not much Chessed which was very problematic for him and lead him to sin a lot in the Midbar. If you are all Din, you give up too often if you can't be perfect. This leads to Sin. Leivi had the balance between the two: Chessed and Din. The balance is Emeth (Truth) which is the signature of G-d. It is the primary characteristic of the Torah. So Leivi was the vehicle for giving the Torah. Teshuvah (Repentance) though is four fold, a four step process. So Yehudah as a king can lead the nation in teshuvah, from teaching Vidui to Reuven after he moved Yaakov's bed to the Psalms of King David. Vidui is even part of his name!

Yes, Meir that was part of the essence of this Pieces Conference in France. Esav and Yishmael were allied against us: 35 of the 70 nations for Esav and 35 of the 70 nations for Yishmael. The Qorbonot during Sukkot are also divided up that way. Whenever the word for goat, Se'ir appears describing the sin offering during Musaph of Sukkot in Sefer BaMidbar, that is a reference to Har Se'ir, and the nations of Edom. We see Se'ir only for the days of 11, 9, 8, and 7 bullocks. 11 + 9 + 8 + 7= 35 bullocks for Har Se'ir. Those bullocks correspond with the 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th days of Sukkot. From this we see that Esav is judged more harshly than Yishmael is on Hoshana Rabbah itself since Gog comes from the nations of Esav. For the first, second, and fourth days of Sukkot, 13, 12, and 10 bullocks are offered respectively. That adds up to 35 bullocks for Yishmael whose Sin Qorbon is called Se'ir Izim, not just Se'ir. The old Bedouin saying is an interesting parallel to the prophecy the Angel of the Lord gave to Ishmael’s mother Hagar (Bereshis 16:12):

At the age of 137, Ishmael died and was gathered to his people. The proof that the prophecy of Ishmael’s wild temperament would be fulfilled in Ishmael’s descendants can be found in his lineage Bereshis 25:12-17. See Hoshea we are now dealing with Jew hating human garbage running courts within the EU, both in the ICC and in their domestic courts. They hate our guts. So all of the appropriate international legal methodology is being thrown out the window. They have an agenda, and in their minds, UNSC resolution 2334 will justify all kinds of of legitimate horrors against us, especially against soldiers who defend themselves, politicians who disobey that UNSC resolution, and against Jewish residents who live beyond the Green Line. As for everyone else... Some are ignorant, some are brainwashed, some might not be very nice people - but most of those, if presented with an actual unmistakable revelation of the truth, would do teshuva, and I imagine they would punish themselves for what they did.
I for one would far prefer that they do teshuva than die in a catastophic war. Especially since they are being lied to by media and government, endlessly brainwashed. Not to mention that barring absolute miraculous precision and Divine intervention on a scale that's never happened before, lots of good people would die as well. Hashem did not want us to rejoice in the drowning of the Egyptians either.
Death is a horrible thing. War is a horrible thing. If we hadn't been born into it, again and again, we wouldn't even be able to imagine that such a thing could exist. I hate suffering. I hate death. I hate lies. I hate violence. I hate collective punishment. I hate golus. This barbarous world has gone on for far too long.
What we anticipate and pray for matters. Why not anticipate the light of redemption and G-d's kindness shining so strong that we can barely stay in our bodies. Why not imagine the embarrassment, humiliation, regret and teshuva of those NOT totally wicked people as they realize what's really going on. Why not imagine the world promised by the Torah, that we will all serve Hashem as one.
Yes, it's been way beyond unbearable, way beyond evil, way beyond unjust. Way beyond. But the world we are looking forward to, praying for, working for, for thousands of years is not a world of blood, and terror, and grief, and loss and war. There are other, far better ways for justice to be done.
The Security Council resolution was under a non-binding resolution. It therefore has no binding legal authority. They are merely recommendations.
Clearly, everything previously predicted relating to these events are left as moot. Changing the parameters doesn't enhance in any way previous assertions. Should we list each and every prediction that was to come to pass that didn't materialize, recent events included.

Also, Dov I agree with Emunah that these area-specific catastrophes (earthquake in Italy) may be part of the Jeremiah punishment, but, it doesn't do widespread justice to the numerous countries that persecuted Jews for millenia. The same for the wars in the middle east, which cause some casualties to the Edom and Ishmael sides, but, nothing near the punishment these nations deserve, on a widescale basis, per Tanach.
Claiming the attacks against the Jews in the UN, etc. are instead of Gog Umagog, and that the natural disasters and war in Syria-Iraq are the prophecied wars doesn't sound right.

How perfect is that? The EU will be very different from the current 28 member countries, according to Bible Prophecy. George, the coffin Soros, sees trouble coming but probably not because of prophecy.
The book of Daniel calls for the EU to be divided into 10 divisions, each with a leader.

Instead of blood in the streets of Yerushalayim and the ransacking of homes in its Eastern half, we have entered an interim period of lawfare, where the "70" nations of the world try to achieve what they want to achieve through International Criminal Court proceedings in The Hague and at the EU Court of Justice in Luxembourg. Their rulings and interpretations of these courts will now be based on this UN resolution which delineates the borders of Israel to what the diktats of what the 70 nations say it is. Netanyahu has been trying to diminish the importance of this UNSC resolution for reasons that involve his political survival. He is not correct in his assessment either because he wants to survive politically and maybe even physically. Trump obviously comes into this picture at this time as a mitigating factor, one of whose benefits is that the nations of the world cannot now send those Massive Protection troops for Paleostine that they would very much like to send.
It occurs to me that one of the numerous reasons why some Jews in New York don't make Aliyah is that they assume that the Worst will happen here as the 70 nations gather to divide us (which they most certainly did) based on these prophesies which allow for the possibility that the Worst might happen (eg. raping of women and ransacking of homes of Jews who live beyond the Green Line.) So they want to remain in a safer place by their calculation. What they may have failed to take into account is that HaShem knows that some of His most committed servants live beyond the Green Line and that at the End of the Galut where we are now, He might decide to annul a previous negative prophesy from 2500 years ago so that we will only receive the benefit of the positive prophesies in Tana"kh that must occur.
Also, David, we are only at the beginning of the 9 months, not at the End. Not everything comes into judgement instantaneously. The first "plague" is against the principle Avodah Zarah of Edom, Oto Ish, which resides in Rome/ Central Italy, just like the first plague in Mitzraim was against the Nile River, the principle god of Mitzraim. So let us be patient. We have obviously arrived at a watershed event with the gathering of 70 nations plus 2 organizations representing Edom and Yishmael in Paris. Don't expect the entirety of the other shoe to drop before Rosh Chodesh Shvat or Rosh Chodesh Adar.
Keep in mind that the principle Avodah Zarah, in Rome at the Vatican, actually has stone statues and pictures made of him. He is often dangling in bodily form from crosses at the front of their churches. When worshipers of Oto Ish at the Vatican kneel in prayer before that statue in a massive, very public way, they are committing an offense against G-d that incurs the death penalty even for a Noachide. This is one of the ways that Protestantism, even though the Trinity is still a milder form of avodah zarah, does not incur the death penalty. The Protestants removed the p'salim from their crosses 400 years ago. So now their crosses that they pray toward are bare.
Contemplating on how events will fold out and that history repeats itself I am wondering if we will follow the seder of the the Torah reading or the seder of the calender. Last week's parsha was about the birth of Moshe Rabbeinu and his call to free the Jewish people. Calender wise we are post Channukah approaching Purim. According too what seder will the events unfold?
By the way, I am one of those Jews who carefully weighed NOT moving beyond the Green Line based on those p'sukim in Zecharia 14. I would opine with my wife for hours about the dangers specifically to her of living beyond the Green Line at the very End of GogUMagog. She leaned toward Aliyah to Kochav Yaakov. I leaned toward making Aliyah to Ramat Beit Shemesh in part because of Sefer Zecharia 14: verses 1 and 2. So when I came on one of two pilot trips to look for a home, I received council from the Amshinover Rebbe and Rav Yosef Scheinberger zt"l of the Eidah Chareidit, both of whom told me that those p'sukim would either be annulled or mitigated WHEN THE TIME COMES. So we moved to Kochav Ya'akov and not to Ramat Beit Shemesh on Aliyah. And lo and behold, they were correct! Those two p'sukim are being mitigated and partially annulled as I write this!

Wow! I had a sense that this would happen and would become a big issue way back on January tenth (at 5:49 pm) in Comments above when I issued my first warning about not speaking lashon hara about the Kushners. Remember my warning about not engaging in lashon hara about the Kushners because the standard for not speaking lashon hara applies to a slew of things dealing with personal information about them which happens to be TRUE??!! Now I know that this is a high standard, but it is halakhah even if it is NOT slander because the info is true. Now, I have several comments waiting for approval about the public behavior of Ivanka and Jared at the Inauguration and on the Shabbat that followed. I need to ask a shaylah to come up with a standard or a series of criteria about what can be discussed about them and what cannot be discussed because it qualifies as lashon hara. This might take a couple of days. Please be patient before I approve those comments in question.

They have some very public titles, and whether they bargained for this or not, have become very public figures. Their private lives will be discussed like the Royals in Great Britain now. Lashon HaRa: Shomer Shabbat Public Figure
You may not tell or listen to lashon ha'ra about a public figure who is a shomer Shabbat Jew unless there is a purpose.
You may give your opinion about a shomer Shabbat politician as long as you state it as your opinion and as long as giving your opinion may help other people.
One is allowed to speak Lashon Hora about a non-Jew. The Pasuk says "לֹא-תֵלֵךְ רָכִיל בְּעַמֶּיךָ" - "Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people" (Leviticus 19:16). The words "among thy people" teach you that one is only forbidden to speak Lashon Hora about those who are included within "thy people". This goes so far as to include a Jew who has removed himself from the category of amongst his people (by committing certain sins that classify him as a wicked person; what those sins are is a whole different discussion). This limitation of "עַמֶּיךָ" also excludes non-Jews form the prohibition of Lashon Hora, as they are not included in עַמֶּיךָ.
The sin of lashon hara, slander, exists only when the goal is an evil one. However, when the objective is to do good, the action is not considered lashon hara at all. This is what the Chafetz Chaim understood – that the basic and central condition allowing lashon hara for a benefit is that the person has good intentions (Chafetz Chaim, laws of lashon hara, general rule 10:13).
He writes: "The Fifth Detail: That the person intends to achieve a benefit, and that is the main point allowing this type of behavior."
Thus, the Chafetz Chaim understood that the intention of the person is very important. The fact that some benefit is achieved is not sufficient. What is needed is to have an intention of achieving a benefit. That is what removes this from the category of "slander." But if the person has bad intentions, the prohibition of lashon hara has been violated even if a benefit is obtained.
It is legitimate to argue, it is possible to write problematic material with respect to a public figure, but this must be done honestly, with precision, in a way that presents a true picture of the opinions of the subject of the article, without hiding other significant aspects of his or her personality, in a way that is truly beneficial and can lead to a change.
A positive and honest outlook can help to establish a society that is well built and stable, a society based on purity and honesty. It will be a society that knows to look at the good side of things, and with G-d's help will have the merits of abundance, love, and a close approach to the source of all good.
I can't even imagine being in your place right now, Reb Dov. I have heard quite a bit of criticism of J&I and all I want to do is wait it out, see what happens.
It occurs to me - it's just a thought - that maybe the precedent of Elisha's answer to Na'aman, the general from Aram who was healed of leprosy in Melachim II, perek 5, who had to bow down to a false deity with his master leaning on him even after he had committed himself to HaShem because of his healing, might apply here (quote in English from Chabad, here):
15. And he returned to the man of God, he and his entire camp; and he came and stood before him: and he said, "Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth except in Israel. And now, accept a gift from your servant."
16. And he said, "As the Lord before Whom I have stood, lives, I will not accept." And he urged him to accept, but he refused.
17. And Naaman said, "Now, if only your servant be given a load of earth as carried by a team of mules, for your servant will no longer offer up a burnt-offering or a sacrifice to other deities, but to the Lord.
18. For this thing may the Lord forgive your servant; when my master comes to Beth-Rimmon to prostrate himself there, and he leans on my hand, and I will prostrate myself in Beth-Rimmon; when I bow in Beth-Rimmon, may the Lord forgive your servant for this thing."

Just a reminder: Lashon haRa is NOT slander. Slander (Motzi Shem Ra) is always false information and is wrong for everyone. It is wrong to speak slander even about our enemies (unless somehow speaking slander will somehow save Jewish lives). And even if that is the case, after saving Jewish lives, it is important to always admit the Truth to counteract the propagation of sheker. Slander is a form of robbery of a person's good name. It is precisely in that way that Slander is even worse than Robbery since while money can be returned to the victim from whom it is stolen, a person's good name is almost impossible to return to him. Tarnishing someone's good name is in the sub-category of Geneivah (but is actually worse, see above) which is forbidden under Jewish Law and Noachide Law unless it saves innocent human lives. The heter to steal only exists if stealing saves otherwise innocent lives and if there is no other way to save those innocent lives. This same condition applies to Slander. Other than that, Slander is forbidden whether the perpetrator or the one being impugned is a Jew or a non-Jew. IMPORTANT: There are many authorities that hold that Slander, or unjustly depriving a person of his good name, is on the same level as Murder. If this is the case, then there IS NO HETER whatsoever to ever slander even to save innocent human life, for just like with Murder, you are not allowed to murder to save the lives of others. So it would be with Slander! It is best to be strict with this, that is to hold that Slander is as bad as Murder.
So the laws of Lashon HaRa (above and beyond Slander) ONLY deal with speaking TRUE but derogatory information and are not to be understood as Slander. Halakhically the laws against speaking Lashon HaRa when the information being conveyed is true, only apply when the subject is about a Jew or a righteous gentile because the condition for not gossiping is to not be a talebearer AMONGST YOUR PEOPLE. So if someone is wicked, that person does not qualify to be amongst our people. So saying truthful but derogatory information about a wicked person is permissible. With a lot of surety, I can assuredly say that this wickedness condition does NOT apply to Ivanka or Jared Kushner. They are not wicked. So we must be careful and stringent here.

For informational purposes only. My street address here in Kochav Ya'akov or Kochav Yakov or even Kokhav Ya'akov (any of these is fine) is now 90 Nahar Shalom and no longer 90 Kochav Yakov. After listening a second time, I wondered who wrote his speech? Did he write it? Did Ivanka write it? Or did Kellyanne Conway write it? Nope, Stephen Miller wrote Trump's Inaugural Address!
As it states Here; this resolution was adopted under non-binding Chapter VI of the UN Charter. Clearly nations will do what nations will do but THIS resolution has no sanction or coercive measures with it.
In any event what happened to that "next" UNSC resolution you spoke of. I suspect many will be confounded when events transpire that are so unexpected that were never on their map. There are things in the works that none here have ever imagined but must be part of the equation.

So what do the prophets reveal about the situation at the time of the end? Ezekiel paints the picture of the alliance hostile to Israel that will form the invading force along with Russia:

In this alliance, Gomer and his bands are mentioned. According to the historians, Edward Wells writing in 1708:

So historians identify Gomer of the Yechezkel with the Gauls of France and with the Germans. Yechezel states that these nations will be with Russia (Rosh) at the time of the end in their invasion of Israel.
