I am sorry for my long delay in publishing another entry to this blog. I had an attack of diverticulitis which incapacitated me for a period of time over the last two weeks. I am also struggling with my own demons regarding the issue of hitnatkut. I am not made of stone that Knesset votes, stifled rallies, dictatorial confiscations of the drivers' licenses of 300 bus drivers, and a vicious assault by an American Secretary of State who is supposedly the daughter of of Pentacostal preacher do not affect me. The Melitzer Rebbe is right. This page of Gog and Magog is a spiritual war first. It is a war against despair and the rank choice of prosperity at the expense of truth.
In answer to a previous question in the last blog entry, the color orange is the color of Yesod, the sixth sefirah, the color associated with the rise of Mashiach ben Yosef. Yosef as the securer of Egyptian prosperity over 3500 years ago did not secure its prosperity at the expense of Truth. MBY, his scion, will be no different in this vein. Israel's prosperity will not be secured at the expense of its G-d fearing citizens. As a matter of fact, trying to secure Israel's prosperity at the expense of innocent human life and property will result in Israel's economic destruction which G-d will not permit. Netanyahu, the Minister of the Treasury, should know better to think otherwise. Besides, his wife sports an orange ribbon on her car. Since Yesod is also the sixth sefirah, it is associated with the letter Vav in HaShem's name. May we see miracles.

We miss your posts very much. Refua Shalaima and Hatzlacha Raba in the battle against the Eruv Rav.
May this be our last Shiva Asar B'Tamuz when we have to fast. We must overcome the idiotic beliefs of the Eruv Rav, and go for the true gold (m'paz Yikarim), not the false substitute of the Egel.

Eagerly awaiting your next post - even if it's brief. You seem to have incredible insight. There are conflicting opinions of Mekubalim on the upcoming expulsion. What is your take on it?

Anyone updated on what's going on with Vendyl Jones?? My kids keep asking me if he found the Ark.
Vendyl Jones is working with his promotional television company out in California to raise the money ($84,700)for the seismic testing, the ground penetrating radar, the intial bore hole, and the hi-tech camera work plus all cleanup and fees from Israel's National Park Service. Qumran is a National Park. He also needs their permit for the dig by proving that the Park Service will be able to turn the dig eventually into a Visitor's Center. (LOL)
Because he is working with raising money through television, no network, that will pay for a live bore hole, will do so in July and August. There is more profit and better ratings in the Fall. G-d works his way in the world through television ratings. The coming of Mashiach ben Yosef is not contingent on the finding of the vessels. Therefore there is no contradiction. The coming of Mashiach ben David is contingent upon finding these vessels, for it is he who builds the Temple or at least re-erects the Mishkan of Moses with the Temple coming down from heaven. I know that Vendyl promised it by Tisha B'Av, but he was being anticipatorily excited. He wants to stop the evacuation of Gush Katif, too. Apparently, as far as I know, the 9th of Av is just too soon.
I will speak to Vendyl's promotional director, G-d willing, this week for new information.
Question on the Tamar Yona show: Regarding the 33rd camp in the midbar. Why does this represent 3300 years? What about all the camps following this one? It is interesting that the 33rd stop was near Edom, and then Aaron (representing the Bais Hamikdosh)dies, hinting that the temple would be destroyed by Edom. However, even though George Bush I took power in 1988,the real interesting event that year was the start of the intafada after 11 years of relative quiet since 67. I asked a Mkubal named Rav Shani from Bucharian section of Yerushalayim why the intafada started when I was visiting Yerushalayim that year (88). He said, after 67 the Arabs were selling their land for one third of its value, because they felt the Jews were destined to rule. But in the 1980's, leftist members of the Israeli government encouraged them to stay. So the real event of 88 was the joining of the Eruv Rav with Yishamel, where Yishmael no longer feared Yisrael, because he sensed their weakness (and rightly so). And now we have a government who rewards their terror with more weakness, a severe continuation of the process that began in 88. George Bush did nothing in 88, except get elected. And maybe Ronald Reagan's last act before leaving office in 88 was starting negotiations with the PLO, paving the way for Oslo and the current retreat from Gaza.
