Look Up in the Sky: It's a Bird; It's a Plague; or is it the Final Redemption

I do not have the time for a full post, but I am quickly posting a letter that I wrote to a friend about the Avian Flu killing off hundreds of thousands of birds in Southern Israel. Let us pray that it destroys Armilus (Olmert) before he really gets started. Our coastal plain "brethren" are sadly thinking about their pocketbooks, not about the eviction of another 80,000 "radical settlers" from their homes. They treasure the former, and too many of them could care less about the welfare of the G-d fearing mountain folk. It almost reminds me of the song about Billy Jack from the 70s, One Tin Soldier, except in reality the good people are those who "do things in the name of heaven and justify it in the end." In the original song, those who feared heaven were the vile hayseeds. Here is the letter:

If this bird flu knocks out Armilus, it could be this Sukkot for the final showdown after all. Fascinating that the bird flu started at Kibbutz Ein HaShlosha, the army headqtrs. for hitnatkut (Disengagement). The supportive (of the army) residents of the kibbutz were sent on an all expenses paid vacation to bask in the sun somewhere while the army did its dirty work. Vacationing at the moment that ten thousand Jews were losing their homes. Well now they have lost their entire poultry crop, and Armilus (Olmert) is plummeting in the polls.

The Medrash Eliyahu is very clear:

There is a very large nation extending from the great plain unto Yafo (Tel Aviv) and Ashkelon. On the 20th day of Shvat, Mashiach will come, and angels of destruction will descend and destroy the whole of that multitude, and they will not leave alive a single nefesh. ( On the 20th of Shvat this year 5766 Hamas set up its government!)

Regarding this time G-d spoke to Avraham, "Your progeny are destined to sink to the lowest level, as Tanach says, 'And you shall be low , and you shall speak from the ground.(Isa 29:4).' But afterwards they will be exalted higher than all the nations, as scripture affirms: "and the L-rd your G-d will set you high above all the nations of the earth" (Deut. 28)

It seems from this that the lowly Erev Rav (Mixed multitude) klipah (spiritual husk) was set to be destroyed, probably by Hamas or Hezballah as Armilus busied himself in destroying Yesha. It all would have been measure for measure in the Year of Yitzkhak, the Second Year of Sukkot. Wouldn't it be something if HaShem has mercifully pulled a fast one and substituted 2 million Kapparos (chickens as a substitute for lives) for the lowly Erev Rav Republic. There are enough decent people on the Coastal Plain to easily merit this. Plus with all of those Shoah Survivors and their lost children, no-one deserved the worst of this prophesy in Medrash Eliyahu except for those who gladly participated in that awesomely horrid test of human indecency last August. Now they have lost all of their poultry, and Armilus may not be victorious after all! Pray hard!
