The Monumental Merit of Family Kushner
For several months now I have been wondering about the great merit of Jared Kushner to influence the heart of an incoming American Emperor. And Donald Trump's ascension to the Presidency is the stuff of legend. Not an ordinary President is he. This is not a post on what Jared may actually do in the role of one of Trump's Chief confidants, but it IS a post about Why. And this blog, dedicated to discussing the End of Days, is all about Why and not just a series of events which hopefully will climax nine months from now during the Feast of Sukkot. The story starts with with his grandfather, Holocaust survivor extraordinaire Yoseph Kushner. Here is Jared in his own words describing why his father-in-law is not an anti-Semite and how his grandfather survived the Shoah. His writing style is direct and to the point and full of intense detail. But it is not here that you will find the essential reason for his great merit, but it is part of the story.

When he passed away in 1985, he bequeathed over 4000 rental properties in New Jersey to his sons Murray and Charles Kushner. Charles Kushner, father of Jared, then built two Torah intensive, Land of Israel loving day schools in New Jersey, The Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy in Livingston, New Jersey and The Rae Kushner Yeshivah High School on the same campus. Rae Kushner was Joseph Kushner's wife who survived the Holocaust with him after she escaped from the Lithuanian/ Belarus Ghetto Novogroduk. He was hiding out in a hole dug by himself in the forest near the ghetto at the Belarus/ Lithuanian border. From this I learned that Yoseph Kushner was likely a Litvak which plays a part at the end of this story. So we see here that Charles Kushner, the father of Jared, built Torah schools in New Jersey. Yes he plea bargained and admitted guilt to a felony which landed him in jail, but as we see from a famous recent plea bargain here in Israel, a plea bargain is not necessarily a guarantee of real guilt, I will simply leave it to G-d to know if Charles Kushner committed the crime for which he plead guilty. If he did the crime, then he did the time. I am leaving it at that. Yet, it is not in the merit of these Torah schools that Jared has the ear of Caesar at this time. There is something else, a missing ingredient. Many great Jews built Torah in America. Not all of the have the ear of Caesar at this pivotal point in world history. Something else is going on.
And then I saw it. It was only this evening that a friend of mine from Dallas, Texas brought it up in a conversation with me. (He wants to remain anonymous.) We were discussing the spate of lashon hara going around about the Kushner's taking a ride on Shabbat from the Inauguration which can be easily explained by Jared Kushner's new post as Donald Trump's Mideast envoy. For a committed Zionist Jew to have that position, which wicked hatefilled Jew hater on the planet would NOT want to assassinate him at this critical time? All of them would. The Kushners simply can't stay in hotels anymore and expect to not be a target. Kushner by virtue of his new position is likely one of the most hated and targeted people on Planet Earth for assassination before Trump announces his first move in the Middle East. If I were in Jared's shoes (which I am not), I would thank HaShem for the very tight and scrupulous protection of the Secret Service who drove him home on Friday night. He likely owes them his life which HaShem has placed in their hands. All this lashon hara about what Jared and Ivanka have to do to live through this simply has to stop. We are not in their shoes. We are not the target of every evil Jew hater on the planet. From this past Friday, they are their target.
So what is it that I saw? I took out My ArtScroll Nusach Ashkenaz (Litwak) SUKKOT MACHZOR! And there it was. The entire Kushner clan was the sole sponsors of this Nusach Ashkenaz machzor, the machzor in whose pages we read about the final chapters of GogUMagog at the end of the nine months of when the 70 nations, at least, try to gather against Yerushalayim! They named the Sukkot Machzor: Machzor Beit Yosef in the merit of their father and grandfather Yoseph Kushner zt"l. Think of the Torah they are responsible for spreading in this Machzor which are contained in its very pages.

No doubt something very auspicious happening. Almost like an inverted Purim story too. Jaryd playing the role of Queen Esther but with his wife who converted to Judaism. Jaryd having the ear of his father in law who is king of the world,(USA). Anyone that knows the Trumps know that the only people that Donald will listen to for more than five minutes are his loving and loyal daughter and son in law. The evil (Iranian mullahs and Arabist state dept.) plot against us, but the king loves and admires his daughters husband and their people the Jews. Jared Kushner is a man who knows how to keep a grudge, and knows the secret of revenge being best served ice cold. It should serve as a stern warning to both Israelis and Arabs as he embarks on yet another US administration’s attempt to broker a long lasting peace deal in the Middle East: don’t underestimate him, don’t mess with him, don’t take him for granted. The man is extremely bright, unbelievably ambitious, and has a very long memory.
Netanyahu’s circle seemed elated last November, when a victorious Donald Trump told the NY Times he was mulling making Jared Kushner his envoy to the peace negotiations. Ambassador Ron Dermer said, “There’s no question that he feels a strong commitment to Israel’s security and Israel’s future.” But the Times pointed out that Kushner is not on a first name basis with the business and political elite in Israel – his only friend in Israel is Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat. Kushner was a child when he met Benjamin Netanyahu when the latter visited Charles Kushner at his NJ home. Trump told the Times that his son-in-law “knows the region, knows the people, knows the players.” But that might be an exaggeration.
Kushner was a valuable asset to Trump in making the connections for him with Netanyahu and Dermer, as well as Sheldon Adelson and other right-leaning, influential American Jews. His start point is probably more favorable to Israel than any of his predecessors in the thankless job of trying to broker peace between Israelis and Arabs. But that’s no guarantee. If, for instance, PM Netanyahu tries his usual yes-but-not-now approach to the two-state solution, he might not get far with Kushner. The PA, by the way, are besides themselves with anxiety over the emphatically pro-Israeli new White House. Which could mean they’d be willing to give up more to Trump than to say, the ever-beseeching John Kerry. Such a change in attitude might, paradoxically, give them a leg up with Kushner.
Indeed, while recent polls have shown that a majority of the PA and Gaza Arabs have given up on the two-state solution, many Arab pundits, such as Ramzy Baroud, suggest there never was a real Arab consensus in support of partition. The new trend for both rank and file and intellectuals on the Arab side is to embrace the one-state approach, just make sure it won’t be Jewish.
This might be a rougher ride than the Israeli right imagined.

In short I have no idea at this time what Jared Kushner will do with the opportunity that G-d has presented to him. And I am not going to specifically predict his first move either. But an opportunity has been placed into his hands. And if he chooses to grab hold of it, great. If he squanders it, the Redemption will come from another place....As it says:

Well, I just learned from Merriam- Webster that confidant is the "preferred" word for a trusted male adviser and that confidante, at least in French, is the word for a trusted female adviser. My next post is about French as the international language of Zenut (prostitution or whoredom). So I don't know French very well. I have no desire to be "one of them". But I will take it into "condfidence" that this is the case. From now on I will spell it "Confidant" for a male adviser.

Yes Neshamah. Even though it is too early to be sure, he might be. He may truly compensate for Netanyahu's lack of courage. Netanyahu's spiritual cowardice with regards to confronting Mankind have created the need for a Jared Kushner.

Hi Reb Dov, I confirm you that the word "confident (m) / confidente (f)" is the best word in French to define someone you can really entrust a secret (and it's not specifically about politics, rather someone's best friend he can tell everything).

So we know pretty well both the Arab and the European mentalities, and many of us here do not trust any of them when it comes to our safety (whereas in EY or Jews here in Tsarfat).

I am of the firm belief the embassy delay is due to Netanyahu. I had seen an interview with Danon and he was specifically asked about the move. He was evasive as any politician could get. I just would like to say something about the Kabbalah Centre that everyone seems to want to trash. (I am not even sure how it got mixed in here but...) There is good and bad in everything and I find it sad when I read articles that just trash and make the place into something horribly evil. It's not an evil place, it is a distorted place. It started with the best of intentions and fell apart, I believe, because it lost it's footing due to not staying machmir in halacha. This and mixing pop culture and liberalism with orthodox Judaism. You can't have a foot in both worlds and think it won't bring you down. You can't hang out with celebrities and go to their parties and run after their treif lifestyles and still hold onto to Torah shtark. You will become one of them. The celebrity culture is a seductress, she is a modern day idol that so many worship. I know the KC personally very well and I know that over the years it has fallen very hard, but it has also changed many peoples lives for the good. I have always said that for the people that are there it is good because most of them would otherwise never touch "religion" because it's too square. (I am talking about the average student not the wealthy ones that are being groomed for large donations.) Most people do elevate themselves and learn important spiritual principles there, such as taking personal responsibility as well as truly believing in a Creator. It's serving a certain niche and for that niche it works. It's taking the some of the lowest sparks and elevating them, if only a little bit. I know many people that were on a very dark path that completely turned their lives around from learning there.
I agree that continuing to present itself with anything to do with Judaism, such as having a name like "Kabbalah" Centre, after davka removing references to Judiasm in order to please its clientele and bending halacha to serve its own agenda is a chilul Hashem and real a shame.

A heads up: The Houthis in Yemen just shot at a Saudi frigate near the Strait of Mandeb about two days ago AFTER Iran was amongst seven countries whose citizens were banned from traveling to the United States for 90 days until the new Sec of State comes up with rules for extreme vetting of visitors and potential immigrants seeking entrance Visas. Apparently Iran is insulted to the point of shooting off a medium range missile in a missile test which exploded about 600 miles away from being shot in violation of UN Sec Council resolutions 2231 limiting such tests after the nuclear agreement with Iran was signed. Curiously, visitors from Saudi Arabia were excluded from the ban on migration from those seven Muslim majority countries. So Trump has seen fit to "favor" the Saudis in the Persian Gulf against the "terrorist" Iranians, and the Persians are of course insulted. And of course there have been consultations about Iran's encroachment onto the Arabian Peninsula in Yemen with the Saudi king Salman. Apparently now, the Houthi attack on a Saudi frigate was actually an attack on an American warship!
None of this should be of surprise for readers of this blog who know that the Third and Final Prophetic blast of the Shofar of Mashiach would start with a war between Persia and Edom that would start off the shores of Teiman (Yemen) AFTER the king of Arabia held consultations with the new King of Edom.
Some quotes of note from the Foxnews story about the attack on the Saudi frigate which apparently was yesterday and not two days ago as stated in the Comment above.

The incident in question occurred in the southern Red Sea and was carried out by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels. Two Saudi sailors were killed and three were wounded. At first the ship was thought to have been struck by a missile.
But based on new analysis of a video showing the attack, American intelligence officials now believe this was, in fact, a suicide bomber whose small boat rammed the side of the Saudi vessel.
In the audio heard on the video, a voice narrating the attack shouts in Arabic, "Death to America, Death to Israel, Death to the Jews."
So originally, the US intelligence thought at the Iranian backed Houthi rebels had shot a missile, but now it appears to have been a ramming of the Saudi frigate followed by the bombing of a suicide bomber, yelling Death to America, Israel, and all Jews everywhere. Hmmm. He is ramming a Saudi ship and yelling Death to America, Israel, and the Jews!
U.S. defense analysts believe those behind the attack either thought the bomber was striking an American warship or that this was a “dress rehearsal” similar to the attack on the USS Cole, according to one official.
The attack, near the Bab al Mandab Strait connecting the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden, occurred in the same area where U.S. Navy warships came under missile attack in October.
And of course, this was preceded by the perfunctory meeting between The King of Arabia and the King of Edom about the King of Persia's encroachment on the Arabian Peninsula.
This latest incident came a day after President Trump spoke by phone with the Saudi King to discuss setting up safe zones for refugees in Syria and Yemen. Senior U.S. defense officials who spoke with Fox News say they're concerned by this latest incident, but are confident American warships can defend themselves.

I hope and pray that Devorah is correct. Ya'el, Ivanka's chosen name, killed Sisera after putting him to sleep with a tent stake through the temples. Ya'el was a descendant of Yithro. It is not clear if the descendants of Yithro ever converted to Judaism, but as Moshe and Yithro agreed, the descendants of Yithro did become our most loyal allies throughout world history. Who was Yehudit? Well this story revolving around Chanukah should jog our memories of why women participate in the positive commandment of lighting Chanukah candles and why some make it a point to eat milk products during Chanukah.
Here is the important passages and the prayer of Yehudit from this story:
That evening, when Yehudit entered Holofernes’s (the Greek General's) tent, the table was laden with various delicacies. The general was delighted to welcome her, and bade her partake of the feast. But Yehudit told him she had brought her own food and wine that she had prepared especially for that occasion.
“My goat cheese is famous in all of Bethulia,” Yehudit said. “I’m sure you’ll like it, General.”
He did. And he also liked the strong, undiluted wine she had brought. She fed him the cheese, chunk after chunk, and he washed it down with wine. Before long he was sprawled on the ground, dead drunk.
Yehudit propped a pillow under his head and rolled him over on his face. Then she uttered a silent prayer.
“Answer me, O L‑rd, as You answered Yael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, when you delivered the wicked general Sisera into her hands. Strengthen me this once, that I may bring Your deliverance to my people whom this cruel man vowed to destroy, and let the nations know that You have not forsaken us ..
So from this we see that Ya'el Kushner IS that "Yehudit" that Esav introduced to his parents
So just for clarification, the milk products (salty cheese) and wine put Holofernes to sleep. The text of Shoftim only mentions that Ya'el fed Sisera milk when he entered her tent, but the "Micky Finn effect" of milk works best with alcohol to cause intense drowsiness. Ya'el then killed Sisera with a tent stake through his temples. Yehudit did not bother with a tent stake. She used Holofernes's own sword to decapitate him! But the previous sentence above in my previous comment should have read:
Both Ya'el and Yehudit, one thousand years apart from each other, killed their respective enemy generals with milk products and also wine in the case of Yehudit. Ya'el, Ivanka's chosen name, killed Sisera, after putting him to sleep with milk, with a tent stake through the temples.
This is important information to be used to understand my next post about Tzarfat. I don't want to mention this in the next post because some things should remain hidden as this final redemption unfolds.
I can't deal with the Amona eviction at this time. It is the Supreme Court's attempt to instate and reinstate the Old Order by showing that they can destroy whom they hate. At this juncture, I don't see it as a Geulah event but as an attempt to prevent it. Plus my son is there. I pray that he is safe. Instead I am concentrating on my next post.
