Crunch Time: The Last Trimester of the Final 9 Months

 This may be one of my most important posts or one of a series of important posts.  But I will have to be brief in this introduction.  Everything that I am writing about from here on out is assuming a B'itah Redemption process where Mashiach should come during the Motzei Shmittah year 5783 after a full year of Judgement on the Nations of the World as a Year of Payback (Recompense) for the Cause or Grievance of Tzion (Isaiah 34:8).  It will be a long year next year, a 13 month year with two Adars.  In contrast this 6th year is one of the shortest of years with only one Adar and a 15th of Tevet which actually came in the last week of December 2020 when Mashiach ben Ephraim, Yehonatan Pollard, arrived to Tzion on the tarmac of Ben Gurion Airport at four in the morning.  The last Israeli leader of a STABLE pre-Messianic State of Israel greeted him at the airport.  At this stage I am not commenting on Naftali Bennett and Gideon Sa'ar's semi-traitorous shenanigans except to say that whatever government Bennett, Sa'ar, Lapid, Lieberman, Gantz, Meretz, Labor and Monsour Abbas (8 parties!) are trying to form, the only thing that is driving their desire to form a government is to cause the "overthrow" of the existing "king" who represents the impure Netzitzot of King Shaul, Bibi Netanyahu.  We are transitioning from Zecharia 12 to Zecharia 14 as their attempt will simply invite more instability, more riots in the mixed Arab/ Jewish cities and Jerusalem neighborhoods, and the resultant UN Sec Council vote to divide the Land of Israel and to send troops to accomplish that in the very short term (probably before the end of 5781).  This post-normal, fully Dystopian Shmittah cycle is so dark, the fact that HaShem has delayed this action by the UN through the Presidency of Donald Trump for four years (in years 2 through 5) until the end of the 6th year of this last pre-Messianic Shmittah Cycle has been a marvel to behold.  All the above in in contrast to Achishena where Mashiach ben David could come today or tomorrow or this coming Motzei Shabbat.  At this stage while talking about process in this post, I am assuming a B'itah process that can no longer be delayed by our collective screw ups .... of which we have no shortage.   I am assuming B'itah, knowing full well that HaShem could circumvent that process by bringing Mashiach Achishena at any moment of any day.  The question is would He (HaShem) circumvent B'itah when even as frum Jews we have had major problems on the Communal level choosing human decency over bribes for our educational institutions when placed before our eyes?  In 2005 when the Evacuation of Gaza was imminent, some of us chose the 290 million shekel bribe offered by Sharon so that his govt could follow through on destroying Jewish Gaza without having to deal with pesky new elections.  

So let us look at how we got here and where we are.  As I have linked to in various other posts throughout the years, (to a chart by someone we will call "Gilui" which is the nickname he wants to be known by since Gilui is also an acronym for his name), Ezra HaSofer set up the modern cycles of Shmittah and Yovel  in the year 3416, approximately 8 years after the building the 2nd Temple according to Seder Olam dating.  At this point I am excluding the additional 165 years of the Persian Empire that are part of secular history, discussed by Rav Shimon Schwab zt"l in order to not add unnecessary complications to this explanation.   Now to get to the right page in this chart, click on the tab "List of Yovel Years".   You should now be on a page which lists all Yovel years starting from Yehoshua bin Nun's conquest of Eretz Yisrael during the First Temple Period.  Yet, since the First Temple corresponded to the Divine Chessed of Pesach, if we want a count of Yovel years that corresponds to Sefirat HaOmer, we must start from the takanah of Ezra haSofer when he reset the Shmittah and Yovel count starting "8 years" after the 2nd Temple was built when Ezra came to the Land to stabilize Torah and Temple observance in Eretz Yisrael at the beginning of the 2nd Temple period.   Now I am not sure why this count does not exclude the Sefirot of Chessed which correspond with Sefirat HaOmer during Pesach, but Ezra HaSofer had the authority to reset the Counting of Shmittot and Yovelot in the same way that Yehoshua bin Nun had the authority to set up the Counting of the same over 900 years prior.  Notice in the Counting of Yovel years, as long as either Temple stood or the Mishkan stood before the Temple, the Yovel year was the 50th year and was a "stand alone" year which was not counted as the first year of the next Yovel cycle.  So during the 2nd Temple, for instance, the Yovel year was always the 15th and 65th years of every Jewish Century.  3465 was the first Yovel year of the 2nd Temple period, the 50th year after the takanah of Ezra HaSofer, and the last Yovel year was the year 3815 (55 ce), about 15 years before the destruction of the 2nd Temple.  This would make 62ce and 69ce Shmittah years.  And if the Temple was destroyed in 69ce, it was destroyed in a Shmittah year, the 2nd Shmittah in that Yovel cycle.  If it was destroyed in the year 70 ce, then it was destroyed in the Motzei Shmittah year.  Notice unlike the Shmittah/ Yovel cycles of Yehoshua, the Takanah of Ezra did NOT pre-condition the fact that there would be an independent Yovel year on the need for the Majority of Jews to live in Eretz Yisrael because during the 2nd Temple period, the Majority of the world's Jews lived in Babylon and later on in Egypt and Babylon after Alexandria in Egypt became home to 1 million Jews.  So for the entire period that both Temples stood, there was a stand alone Yovel year.  With the destruction of both Temples and with Ezra's Temple in particular, the stand alone Yovel year was no more, and the Yovel year as the 50th year was in potential only so that that Yovel year doubled up as the first year of the next Shmittah/ Yovel Cycle!  So after Churban Bayit Sheini, the Yovel year effectively came every 49 years, not every 50 years.  Yes, the Yovel year potentially was the 50th year, but since it was also the first year of the next cycle, the next Yovel year until today basically came every 49 years.  There are those who say that the Messianic name Yinon refers to the potential that the last Yovel year will be either the 49th or the 50th Jubilee (take your pick) referring to both of the Nuns (50th Nun) in the name Yinon.  Whether he would come at the beginning or end of the 49th or 50th Yovel would therefore be open for discussion.  The 49th Yovel is already at the level of David HaMelekh (Malkhut that is in Malkhut) while the 50th Yovel is already Ma'aleh min HaTeva!  Oh by the way, notice that we are there.  The Year 5776 (Fall 2015- 2016) was the 48th Yovel year since the takanah established by Ezra HaSofer but was also the first year of the 49th Yovel cycle!  So we are in the 6th year of the first Shmittah cycle of the 49th Yovel cycle since the establishment of the takanah of Ezra.

Now we know something tremendous about the Yovel year which we learn from Parshat BeHar in Sefer Leviticus (VaYikra 25:10)    וְקִדַּשְׁתֶּם, אֵת שְׁנַת הַחֲמִשִּׁים שָׁנָה, וּקְרָאתֶם דְּרוֹר בָּאָרֶץ, לְכָל-יֹשְׁבֶיהָ; יוֹבֵל הִוא, תִּהְיֶה לָכֶם, וְשַׁבְתֶּם אִישׁ אֶל-אֲחֻזָּתוֹ, וְאִישׁ אֶל-מִשְׁפַּחְתּוֹ תָּשֻׁבוּ. 10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land unto all the inhabitants thereof; it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.  Here we have the pasuk of the Liberty Bell, well half of it.  Considering that the 48th Yovel was in the year 5776 and that America was founded in 1776, the fact that half of this verse is on the Liberty Bell is no accident?  Perhaps the Founding FreeMasons tried to tap somewhat successfully into something really holy?  just digressing.  But notice the second half of this pasuk.   The Yovel shall be for you.  Every Man will return to his possessions, and every man will return to his family.  Several things: Tashuvu is spelled absent a Vav, meaning that that when this occurs we will be missing 6.  Could this be a reference to the 6 million who died in the Shoah?  Or a huge chunk of the 6 million of American Jews who want no part of Eretz Yisrael so much so that they join rallies in America for our destruction?  But it begs the question because the promise of a Real Yovel is for Jews to return to their possessions in Eretz Yisrael.  So look at the historical data.  The 45th Yovel year according to the above chart was in the year 5629 (1869).  This was the last Yovel before the Beginning of the Greening of Eretz Yisrael which began in the First Agricultural Aliyah starting in 1882 with the founding of Mazkeret Batya and Zikhron Ya'akov.  For this we need a pasuk from Parshat Nitzavim (Deut 29:21-22)  where it says the following:  

 וְאָמַר הַדּוֹר הָאַחֲרוֹן, בְּנֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר יָקוּמוּ מֵאַחֲרֵיכֶם, וְהַנָּכְרִי, אֲשֶׁר יָבֹא מֵאֶרֶץ רְחוֹקָה; וְרָאוּ אֶת-מַכּוֹת הָאָרֶץ הַהִוא, וְאֶת-תַּחֲלֻאֶיהָ, אֲשֶׁר-חִלָּה יְהוָה, בָּהּ. 21 And the generation to come, your children that shall rise up after you, and the foreigner that shall come from a faraway land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses wherewith the LORD hath made it sick;

כב  גָּפְרִית וָמֶלַח, שְׂרֵפָה כָל-אַרְצָהּ--לֹא תִזָּרַע וְלֹא תַצְמִחַ, וְלֹא-יַעֲלֶה בָהּ כָּל-עֵשֶׂב:  כְּמַהְפֵּכַת סְדֹם וַעֲמֹרָה, אַדְמָה וּצְבֹיִים, אֲשֶׁר הָפַךְ יְהוָה, בְּאַפּוֹ וּבַחֲמָתוֹ. 22 and that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and a burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the LORD overthrew in His anger, and in His wrath;

From here we see that the descendants of those who stood at Sinai would travel to Eretz Yisrael in the last generation before the greening of the Land, and One gentile specifically would come from a faraway land in that generation and would see and write about the plagues of the Land and that the Land would be as if it had been destroyed by Divine Wrath with no plant life for miles nor any grass growing therein as if it had been overthrown like S'dom and Gomorrah.  So a quick study from the year 1869 we find this Book by Mark Twain, The Innocents Abroad was published in 1869.  It is most certainly the the most popularly read travelogue of the 19th Century and Mark Twain's best selling book of his illustrious career.  In his book he spends over 100 pages describing his travels to Eretz Yisrael often using the precise language describing the forlornness of the Land described in the Torah verses above.  In short, he is the one gentile that comes in the "last generation" before the Greening of Eretz Yisrael to describe the Land with the words in the Torah, and while he came in 1867, his words were published in the potential Yovel year 1869.   While he describes some fertility in the Galil at the headwaters to the Yarden, at Lake Hula, and on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, while he traveled from Tiveriyah to Yerushalayim, this is how he described Eretz Yisrael:  We traversed some miles of desolate country whose soil is rich enough but is given wholly to weeds -- a silent mournful expanse.  A Desolation is here that not even imagination can grace with the pomp of life and action.  We reached Tabor safely... We never saw a human being on the whole route.  We pressed on toward the goal of our crusade, renowned Jerusalem.  The further we went, the hotter the sun got and the more rocky and bare, repulsive and dreary the landscape became..... There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere.  Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of worthless soil, had almost deserted the country.  No landscape exists that is more tiresome to the eye than that which bounds the approaches to Jerusalem....  

Jerusalem is mournful, dreary and lifeless.  I would not desire to live here. it is a hopeless, dreary, heartbroken land....  Palestine sits in sackcloth and ashes.  Over it broods the spell of a curse that has withered its fields and fettered its energies...  Palestine is desolate and unlovely.  And why should it be otherwise?  Can the curse of the Deity beautify a Land?  Palestine is no more of this work-day world.  It is sacred to poetry and tradition-- it is dream-land. 

So an investigation into what happened in 1869 reveals that the most important travelogue of the 19th Century was published that year by the one Nakhri (gentile), probably one of the most famous gentiles, that visited the Land and wrote extensively about what he saw.  The words of the prophesy in Parshat Nitzavim were therefore fulfilled by this most famous of 19th Century books.  And in the text of the words we even learn his first name, the name of the non-Jew that is hinted at in the text of the Torah.  The Torah says that he will come from a faraway land, מֵאֶרֶץ רְחוֹקָה.  In Hebrew, the Roshei Teivot often take the first two letters of the first word of the acronym and the first letter of each word that follows.  In the case of two word acronyms, we often take the first two letters of the first word and then the first two letters of the second word as in Telephone Number or Mispar Telephone מסט"ל or The Holy Tongue (Lashon HaQodesh לשה"ק).  So applying this rule for Roshei Teivot we get  מאר"ח (March) with the Ch being a Chet, hinting for all time the first name of the gentile who would come to Eretz Yisrael from a faraway land... Hannibal, Missouri.  You can look it up how far that place is from Eretz Yisrael.  It is from that moment in time in that potential Yovel year (5629), the end of the 45th Yovel cycle set up by Ezra HaSofer, that the conditions are set to bring on the Final Redemption, the conditions of one lone gentile coming to the Land of Israel to report to Mankind about the Curse of the Deity on the fertility of Eretz Yisrael within one generation (30 years from one generation to the next) of that Curse being lifted with the founding of the agricultural settlements of Zikhron Ya'akov, Rosh Pina, and Mazkeret Batya.

On to the next potential Yovel 49 years later (5678 aka Fall of 1917- 1918):  The key point to recognize for later is that 5678 was the 46th Yovel or potential Yovel from Ezra HaSofer's takanah on Shmittah and Yovel.  If a total of 50 Yovelot were set up for Klal Yisrael, b'itah, and if Mashiach ben David had to show up in the 49th Yovel cycle at the sefirah of Malkhut that is in Malkhut, then the Redemption b'itah HAD to begin from the 46th Yovel which was also the beginning of the 47th Yovel cycle, to be explained below when discussing the spiritual deterioration of basic human sanctity in thirds.  1/3rd of Mankind would deteriorate in the 47th cycle, and the middle 1/3rd, the bulk of humanity in Western Civilization, would deteriorate in the 48th cycle, leaving only 1/3rd of humanity in the spiritually healthy range above -49th level of impurity after 98 years.  First of all, let us recognize the pivotal Geulah events of that 46th Yovel year which actually started in November of 1917 and is in line with "every Jew will return to his possessions" in the Land of Israel.  

1. Balfour Declaration (Nov 2nd, 1917 or 17 MarCheshvan 5678):  While the British are engaged in their larger war to destroy the Ottoman Empire amongst other goals of WW1, they are in the process of conquering Eretz Yisrael in the Fall of 1917.  On Oct 31st, 1917, The British Empire's Egyptian Expeditionary Force secured all of Southern Eretz Yisrael for the British Empire in the Battle of Beer Sheva at which point the British War Cabinet lead by PM David Lloyd Gog (a good Gog) decided to release the following Declaration.  In the midst of the chaotic withdrawal of Turkish and German troops from the battle line between Gaza and Beer Sheva, Foreign Secretary Lord Arthur Balfour issued the following Declaration:  His Majesty's Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.   So with major pitfalls, the Jewish National Home project of the Nations of the World auspiciously began.  The first major pitfall was a mistake by the Western nations that there was an indigenous Palestinian people in Eretz Yisrael at the time of the British conquest.   For one, for all of the previous 1300 years of Muslim history, there NEVER was an Arab or for that matter any Muslim Palestine or Palestinian people.  From Mark Twain's travelogue we learn that most of Northern Eretz Yisrael from Tiveriya to Yerushalayim, the Land in 1867 while Twain was here, was astonishingly empty and barren.  Secondly,  even at the end of the 19th Century when Jews were already returning in large numbers to the four holy cities (Chevron, Yerushalayim, Tiveriya, and Tzefat) and to the new agricultural yishuvim, the the land between Yerushalayim and Chevron had a special designation called the Sanjak or  Mutasarrifate of Al Quds, but the northern 3/4s of Eretz Yisrael was headquartered in either Damascus or later on in Beirut.  The northern 3/4s of Eretz Yisrael NEVER had any special designation called Palestine, and no city south of the present border between Israel and Lebanon or Syria down to the Al Quds Sanjak was EVER the Capital of any provincial region of any Muslim Empire, probably because of the astonishing emptiness of the Land south of Tiveriya!  And even with Yerushalayim, Al Quds only had special designation for any Muslim Empire starting in 1871 after heavy Jewish immigration into the southern Holy cities of Yerushalayim and Chevron earlier in the 19th Century.  Yet, with all the original mistakes and eventual filthy lies which would cost countless Jewish lives, the return of the Jews to their possessions was given an attempted stamp of international approval after the WW1 starting with this auspicious Declaration in Nov 1917.  The return of Israel to its former possessions with some veil of international approval had begun in the potential Yovel year 5678.  

2. Probably in part as Heavenly Reward for the British Govt of PM David Lloyd Gog's Declaration, General Edmund Allenby liberated Yerushalayim from the Ottoman Turks Erev Chanukah 5678 (9th December 1917) ending with the quick conquest of the rest of Eretz Yisrael.  The Surrender of the the Holy City occurred when the Ottoman's retreated from the City on 9 December 1917 while the Mayor of "Al Quds" Hussein Salim Al- Husseini tried to deliver the Ottoman Governors letter of surrender, but Allenby only entered the City two days later on the 2nd Day of Chanukah when he was assured that "he could enter the Holy City on foot in order to show proper respect to the Holy places in the City".  For this reason, Gen. Allenby entered Yerushalayim on the 2nd day of Chanukah through the Yafo Gate on foot with no cavalry or mechanized vehicles, officially liberating the City.  In a conflicting report, it is recorded that the British 10th Light Horse Regiment and a New Zealand Mounted Rifles Brigade representative troop commanded by 2nd Lieutenant C.J. Harris, Canterbury Regiment accompanied Allenby who apparently entered the City on foot.  This liberation occurred precisely six weeks after the British had won the Battle of Beer Sheva and had immediately released the Balfour Declaration following victory in that Battle.  And the Battle of Beer Sheva had only been won after a full six month stalemate where no one advanced over the frozen line of battle between Gaza and Beer Sheva.  Once the British committed themselves to G-d's goal of that particular Yovel year to return Eretz Yisrael to its holy people, near the actual beginning of that year 5678, the Victory to capture Yerushalayim came quickly like a flash of lightning.   By Chanukah, the troops of David Lloyd Gog had captured Yerushalayim.  And the last battle to capture Eretz Yisrael from the Turks was the Battle of Megiddo between the 19th and 25th of September in Tishrei of the Motzei Yovel year.  In reality it was a multi-front battle from Tulkarm and a village called Tabsor in the Sharon Plain in the south to Natzareth in the north with Yezre'el Valley in between (including a Jewish farming village called Afula).  Allenby in order to be "Biblically dramatic" called it the Battle of Megiddo, even though there was no fighting at Tel Megiddo specifically, in order to dramatize that it was, in his mind, meant to be the Final Battle of Armageddon in what so many thought was the War to End All Wars, WW1.  Little did he know that WW1 was only the First War of GogUMagog, not the Third one, the last one.  But true to form, this battle to drive the Turks out of Israel ended on the 19th of Tishrei in the year after the potential Yovel two days before Hoshana Rabbah 5679 (25 Sept 1918).    He succeeded beyond what may have been his wildest dreams.  On September 25th, 1918, two days before Hoshana Rabba 5679, the Ottomans retreated to Damascus, leaving Eretz Yisrael to the Lebanese and Syrian borders totally in the hands of the British. Damascus fell to the British and French forces on the first of October 1918, and Aleppo in Syria, (the northern border of Eretz Yisrael, never conquered by Yehoshua, according to Kaftor veFerach) fell on the 26th of October 1918. 

In order to understand what happened next, we need to integrate three concepts from our Prophets and Sages:  1. As Yerushalayim is being rebuilt, Caesarea (Western Civilization) is headed for ruin.  Without getting too far ahead of ourselves, if one contemplates the next potential Yovel year 5727 (Fall 1966- Summer of 1967), we see that in that potential Yovel year all of Yerushalayim, (except for the Temple Mount, given back to the Arabs by the Erev Rav), was united under Jewish sovereignty with massive neighborhood building projects in and around all of Yerushalayim since the 6 Day War.  Also Judea, Binyamin, and Samaria were placed into Jewish control during the 6 Day War for the first time since the Bar Kokhba Revolt temporarily threw the Romans out of Judea in 132 ce.  The 6 Day War, once again, took place at the end of 47 Yovelot "returning the Land to the Possession of its Jewish Children."   On the spiritual scale, over the course of two 49 year stretches while the Land of Israel slowly is being returned to its children with two spurts in the Yovel years 5678 and 5727 themselves, Western Civilization slowly over the course of those same 98 years has disintegrated below Mem Tet Shaarei Tumah.  As with the rebuilding of Yerushalayim, it did so in two 49 year spurts ending on Shavuot night until Alot HaShachar when Omar Mateen (from Mem Tet to Nun) walked into that homosexual bar in Orlando, Florida and murdered precisely 49 homosexuals becoming the 50th dead body in that pub when the SWAT team burst through the walls and shot him dead at dawn on Shavuot morning 5776 (2016).  This represented for all time how Western Civilization destroyed 2/3rds of itself through increasing levels of depravity in Sexual Immorality over the course of 98 years, only to become a tool of Islam's Global objectives where Murder and Mayhem are glorified at the expense of basic human sanctity.  Once again 5776 was another potential Yovel year, the 48th potential Yovel since Ezra HaSofer's takanah.   The Leading Edge of Western Civilization's internal moral destruction, though, has been from Sexual Immorality, not Murder!  And the Leading edge of Islam's or Yishmael's internal dissolution has been through Murder and Mayhem and not through Sexual Immorality!  So why is that the case when Edom's or Esav's negative tendency is for Murder, and Yishmael's negative tendency is for Immorality according to our Sages??  The answer is in the Religions and Institutions that Edom (Western and Xtian Civilization) and Yishmael (the Islamic World) respectively set up over the Centuries to PREVENT their internal collapse from these two vices.  With Islam it is easy to see.  They literally wear it as the clothes on their backs and the covering of their entire bodies from head to toe.   In order to protect themselves from internal collapse because of Immorality, they cover their women from head to toe in many cases, and the hijab of even more liberal sects of Islam according to Islamic law must fully cover the hair and neck of their women, only allowing for an oval to allow the features of their faces to be seen by the outside world.  But in many cases as pointed out above, the burka only allows the exposure of a slit for the eyes of their women to see.  In contrast, for Jewish women, if they are not married, women need not cover their faces, necks, nor their hair, and in the case of married women, only their hair needs to be covered.  It is even a question in Judaism if the covering of hair is for the sake of modesty since for single women covering hair is not required.  Usually for issues of modesty, a Jewish woman dresses with equal dress lengths and necklines whether one is single or married.  More likely, covering hair is because a women's halo or shining light (her aura) should only be shared with her husband, a glow which she only receives from marriage (Qiddushin).  Before marriage when this spiritual glow is not evident, a Jewish woman does not even need to cover her hair.  For a married man, the spiritual glow also becomes evident, but only in davening during the Amidah when a man covers his hair with a tallit.  From this we see that a married Jewish man must work harder to have this spiritual glow through davening while a Jewish woman intrinsically has this glow from simply getting married through (Qiddushin)!  Therefore, at an intrinsic level, a married Jewish woman is at a higher spiritual level than a married Jewish man, for she has her external spiritual glow even when doing secular chores or secular work while a man only has this glow in the height of his davening.  So the spiritual reason in Judaism for even covering a married woman's hair transcends basic modesty since a single woman need not cover her hair!  I am only pointing this all out in order to stress that the Islamic World, unlike the Torah Jewish world, is solely doing all this covering above the shoulders for the sake of modesty IN ORDER TO PROTECT THEIR CIVILIZATION FROM DECAY THROUGH ADULTERY!   IN ORDER TO PREVENT OTHER MEN FROM TAKING AND STEALING OTHER MEN'S WIVES!  Since Yishmael has this vice as an intrinsic tendency,  Islam as a Way of Life exists in part to counteract this intrinsic tendency so that Islamic Civilization will not decay because of Yishmael's intrinsic Yetzer HaRa, Sexual Immorality.  The problem therefore comes at the End of History, specifically, in the previous two Jubilee cycles (the 47th and 48th Yovel cycles since Ezra) between 1918 and 1967 and between 1967 and 2016.  At this stage in history, the the spiritual glow on the physical fabric of the the existing world order is decaying AS YERUSHALAYIM IS BEING REBUILT.  Plus, in the case of Yishmael, his 1300 year control of Eretz Yisrael according to the Zohar ended in 1918 when his reign for 26 Jubilees since 644ce (4404, see Yovel chart) ended, from when Omar the Magnificent conquered Yerushalayim for the Arab Empire in 637 or 638ce until the end of the 26th Yovel for Islam in 1918.  But the source of his decay is NOT through his natural tendency for Immorality since he has protected himself from that, but it has come from Murder and Mayhem.  This historical event that most symbolized the real collapse of Islamic Civilization through Murder and Mayhem was the Armenian Genocide perpetrated by the Ottomans during WW1 followed by the internecine bloodshed in the Arab World ever since culminating in the Syrian Civil War after the Arab Spring..... On to Edom...

If the natural negative tendency in Yishmael for Sexual Immorality was blunted by Islam through its severely strict dress code, one might think that Xtianity counteracted Esav's natural tendency for Murder, Bloodshed, and Gore through Xtian love, Peace on earth, and Good will towards men ..... No such luck.   A cursory look at 1700 years of the history of Western Civilization (specifically in Europe) since the Council of Nicaea in 325ce when Constantine Xtianized the Roman Empire presents a case where the gory bloodshed of Malkhut Edom did not abate at all!  As a matter of fact, with technological advancements over the Centuries in the intervening 17 centuries, Western Civilization became bloodier and bloodier over the course of time.  By the time of the 20th Century, and the de-Xtianization of Europe because of Fascism and Bolshevism/Marxism, the Western World was ready to set the stage for the rivers of blood from 100 million dying human beings globally.  In the intervening centuries the Catholic Church, as a unifying force and by Xtianizing even those who did not want to be Xtians, tried to stem the flow of blood between fellow Catholics, but they kept springing leaks as progressively increasing numbers of people no longer wanted to be Roman Catholics.  From the schism of the Byzantine Orthodox Church in 1054ce, to Henry the VIII's establishment of an Anglican Church that would annul all of his marriages with the wives that he did not murder, to the Protestant Reformation, Europe is bathed in blood.  Yet, even after Centuries of European Xtians bludgeoning each other and pogroming its Jews, nothing could prepare themselves for the atheistic rivers of blood which would follow in the 20th Century as a result of Fascism and Marxism.  Something had to rise to stem the tide, or Edom's spiritual mark would be limited to its mind-twisting theology of how to attain a place in the world to come through believing that someone else, a son of a betrothed wife of a Jewish carpenter, died for his sins in spite of his sub-par behavior in the area of human decency.   Morality was only important for the national prosperity, but war and bloodshed between competitive nations never stopped flowing.  Into this mix came the United States of the Americas.  Yes, US of America was so so different from the start.  

As I discussed in formative posts on this blog, America was founded on the morality of the Hebrew Written scriptures not on the morality of the "New Testament", which really is not a text dealing with morality and decency but a text dealing with how to get into the next world without worrying incessantly about morality and decency.   America as a majority Xtian nation still had its hang-up of not understanding that G-d truly takes into account our extenuating circumstances when He judges us so that we can be held accountable ONLY with the free will choices that any particular situation gives us.  If we need to steal in order to not die, we have a heter (a temporary permission) to steal as long as the serious threat to our life exists.  Only for the three cardinal sins, Murder, Immorality, and Idolatry is there no heter to do those things in order to survive (to not die).  With a gun at our heads, one is permitted to steal by G-d Himself if it is demanded at the point of a gun, but one is not permitted to murder.  Yet, on a everyday application of Noachide Law, American common sense prevailed and usually allowed for these extenuating circumstances in courts of law even if there was no heter in their minds to enter the World to Come without Yoshke paving the way.  These allowances of course were only given to American citizens.  For Native Americans and for slaves considered to be worth 3/5ths of a human being, they were given no such favors of granting allowance based on extenuating circumstances in Courts of Jurisprudence.  And of course when America went to war, for most of its history until Vietnam, America knew how to win wars by not granting the enemy such considerations either.  America's greater flaw is basically Esav's second flaw, that all Good that is done, must be done with a long-term motive of Profit and Prosperity.  The purpose of serving G-d even according to the values of Hebrew Scriptures is to achieve the American Golden Calf Dream, to retire comfortably with a million dollars in savings.  The converse to make money to serve G-d, is great and altruistic.  Such people can be lauded, but it is not intrinsically American to demand such altruism of its citizens.  It is why America ostensibly fails 3333 years after Sinai at the level of Hod that is in Hod (the 33rd level of purity).  Only nations that serve G-d altruistically can lead the world to the next level.  Only the nation with a Mashiach ben Yosef at Yesod that is in Yesod (41st level of purity) or a Mashiach ben David at Malkhut that is in Malkhut (49th level of purity) can take Mankind to the next level, and even with American visionaries and its Founding Fathers, America is NOT that nation.... and neither is Australia which right now in 2021 is likely the most morally sane nation in the Western World.  

So the question might be asked after WW1, what did America do to clean up Esav's Murder and Mayhem tendencies of the previous, at the time, almost 1600 years of Xtianity?   President Woodrow Wilson's 14 Points to End, with Fairness, the War that was supposed to End all Wars!  In almost every way there was nothing magnanimous or particularly Xtian about Wilson's 14 points.   It is completely rooted in secular thought with no G-d centered overtones in the language of the points.  Xtian Civilization, technologically and economically lightyears ahead of the rest of humanity by the turn of the 20th Century, had conquered the world but had not conquered Edom's intrinsic nature as a violent, blood-shedding or bloodletting civilization. Interestingly enough, in the area of sexual immorality, Xtianity DID devolop an aversion to homosexuality, adultery, bestiality, and incest, the four big Do Nots of Sexual Immorality.  This is not to say that no one in the West throughout history broke these Commandments to Noach from G-d, but as a Civilization for the most part for 1600 years, the above behaviors were shunned by the vast majority of Xtians.  Modesty in the Western World was also a premium value for most of that time.  Anyone who has seen footage of American women at the beach in 1900 in dresses down to their ankles wading in the ocean knows how far and how fast America fell in the 120 years between 1900 and 2020 even while the men of Edom were bludgeoning and bleeding their perceived enemies over wars dealing with particulars of Xtian faith or mercantile shipping or colonization for precious natural resources, whatever the reasons for the countless wars that Europeans fought over the Centuries.  As the inability of Xtians to find Xtian solutions to the problem of murder and bloodshed became obvious, it was inevitable that a person born into a Xtian American family with a moral heritage somewhat rooted in the Bible would find secular and "progressive" solutions to the subduing the bludgeoning nature of Malkhut Edom.  The Bible would be necessary because the prophetic vision of World Peace as expressed by Yishayahu, Micah, Malachi, and Zecharia did produce fertile fruit in the minds of those who read their written texts.  So an individual well versed in the prophetic texts would be required to come up with secular prescriptions to at least in theory achieve this vision while rejecting in principal the Jewish path for achieving the Utopian reality.  The person of the West would likely be a nominal Xtian with a flawed personal character with grandiose dreams and an equally grandiose intellect.  Such the man was President Woodrow Wilson.  He was a devout segregationist who became President the first time in 1912 because his opposition included the Republican incumbent President William H. Taft and the third party candidate, former President Theodore Roosevelt, both of them together splitting the opposition vote.  He won a second term in 1916 once again with the same Jim Crow Southern Democratic support he had in 1912 along with a "solid blue" Western vote including the Rocky Mountain States, Plains States, and West Coast states.  It is something of note, that he won the Presidency as a so called "Progressive" who never even once lost a Southern state in either election!  He demonstrated his "progressive" credentials by mandating an eight hours/ day 6 day work week, prohibiting child labor, extending anti-trust legislation, proposing strict health and safety regulations for factory workers, and safeguarding female employees through legislation.  Being a Blue State back in 1916 had an entirely different meaning than it has today.  Here was a man who believed in Jim Crow racial segregation who somehow became President of Princeton University and Governor of New Jersey, and yet somehow he became Governor and President twice as a "Progressive".  He campaigned for re-election in 1916 with the position that he was going to stay neutral in WW1 by not entering the war.  (Look how that worked out.)  He previewed the viciously racist movie "Birth of the Nation" in the White House in a special White House screening in February 1915 saying:  "It's like writing history with lightning. My only regret is that it is all so terribly true."  The man was fatally flawed.  Yet, people who rate Presidents overlook his fatal flaws and rate him as one of America's great Presidents.  For our purposes, what is important to remember is here was the first American President with a burning desire for Utopian perfection detailed by the prophets of Hebrew Scripture who wanted to achieve that perfection through totally secular means or in the language of the early 20th Century through "progressive" means.  Ultimately, it was through "progressives" like Wilson that after the Failure of his League of Nations from his 14 points to enforce World Peace and Brotherhood, with the onset of WW2, the United Nations would be proposed in the ashes of WW2  with the following passage from Yishayahu (Isaiah) engraved on a wall near its entrance:    They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.  Of course these are beautiful sentiments, but it is written with a totally secular moral intent, divorced from the words that precede it.  When this Wall called the Ralph Bunche Wall was dedicated in 1948, the original sculptors did not even give credit to the Prophet Isaiah!  It was rededicated in 1975 with the author's name, Isaiah, added as an afterthought!  And G-d and His moral structure for the Universe was completely left out of the picture by omission, simply not including the whole quote from Isaiah 2:2-4

  וְהָיָה בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים, נָכוֹן יִהְיֶה הַר בֵּית-יְהוָה בְּרֹאשׁ הֶהָרִים, וְנִשָּׂא, מִגְּבָעוֹת; וְנָהֲרוּ אֵלָיו, כָּל-הַגּוֹיִם. 2 And it shall come to pass in the end of days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established as the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

ג  וְהָלְכוּ עַמִּים רַבִּים, וְאָמְרוּ לְכוּ וְנַעֲלֶה אֶל-הַר-יְהוָה אֶל-בֵּית אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב, וְיֹרֵנוּ מִדְּרָכָיו, וְנֵלְכָה בְּאֹרְחֹתָיו:  כִּי מִצִּיּוֹן תֵּצֵא תוֹרָה, וּדְבַר-יְהוָה מִירוּשָׁלִָם. 3 And many peoples shall go and say: 'Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths.' For out of Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

ד  וְשָׁפַט בֵּין הַגּוֹיִם, וְהוֹכִיחַ לְעַמִּים רַבִּים; וְכִתְּתוּ חַרְבוֹתָם לְאִתִּים, וַחֲנִיתוֹתֵיהֶם לְמַזְמֵרוֹת--לֹא-יִשָּׂא גוֹי אֶל-גּוֹי חֶרֶב, וְלֹא-יִלְמְדוּ עוֹד מִלְחָמָה.  {פ} 4 And He (G-d) shall judge between the nations, and shall decide for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Now you tell me, when the UN or previous to that when Woodrow Wilson's idea for a League of Nations takes the end of verse four out of the context by not including all the verses, 2 through 4, what type of institution for world peace are they trying to set up?  It is promoting one without G-d as the governing authority for Mankind.  An international organization that decides on its own moral code for good and evil which promotes its own secular invectives against decent human beings in order to achieve world government, devoid of Divine Authority on our lives.  It attempts to end the cycles of bloodshed throughout the entire history of Edom by including Biblical platitudes for world peace without obligating human beings to obedience to G-d's laws in order to achieve it.  THAT is Woodrow Wilson's intent in a nutshell.  He found the secular Western "solution" for all of Esav's Wars and Wanton violence for the previous millennia expressed by Biblical platitudes for World Peace without the acceptance of G-d's moral authority to achieve it.  So in 1918, Esav "found the key" to end his perpetually violent ways, but unleashed himself from his obedience to G-d's other commandments which are supposed to be part and parcel of achieving the ultimate goal.  

So when Edom finally found the key to world peace, he unleashed his path to destruction by Sexual Immorality in stages.  1/3rd of his devotees fell into degeneracy between 1918 and 1967 and 1/3rd, the middle third or the bulk of his devotees, fell into degeneracy between 1967 and 2016.  By the end of 98 years, 2/3rds of the population in Western Civilization had fallen below Mem Tet Shaarei Tumah.  In the first 49 years it was difficult to perceive because only the Leftist third of the population fell through the abyss over the course of those 49 years.  2/3rds at least of American Civilization remained relatively spiritually wholesome during the first 49 year deterioration between 1918 and 1967.  Those who engaged in wild orgies in the Roaring 20s, did so behind ivy covered walls often surrounding ivy covered mansions.  They did so to isolate themselves from the 2/3rds of American culture that would at that time in the 1920s still reject their wild behaviors.  Yes, we saw those dress lengths from before WW1 at the beach go from down to the ankles to "Betty Grable" swimsuits in the 1940s and 1950s.  So the culture was negatively affected in its mores because of the degeneracy of the Roaring 20s, but only the far leftist third fell through the floor all the way until 1967.  But the Summer of Promiscuity on the lawn of Goldengate (50th Gate) Park in San Francisco changed all that.  With the Summer of Promiscuity in the Summer of 1967 which began in the very same week as the 6 Day War, the middle third of the Culture of Western Civilization, over the course of the next 49 years, fell through the floor of the 49th Level of Impurity by the Summer of 2016.  The last straw was on 26th of June of 2015 when the US Supreme Court in a 5 to 4 decision forced homosexual marriage contracts on all 50 States, even against States that were repulsed by such contracts!  Three of the five Justices in the Majority were Erev Rav Leftist Jews.  As luck would have it, in a quirk of fate, the Triple Crown winner in horse racing from 3 weeks earlier at the Belmont Stakes was American Pharaoh, signifying America's fall until the 49th level of impurity up until that Supreme Court decision in June of 2015.  It was from that point that the formerly exceptional country known as the United States would lose its majority in support of basic human sanctity with the Pulse Night Club terrorist attack in Orlando, FL taking place one year later in June 2016 in which the 49 homosexuals were murdered by Omar Mateen (from Mem Tet to Nun).  Between June 2015 and June 2016, America and the West in general fell into 2/3rds Reprobate status.  2/3rds of its citizens became spiritual reprobates, alive in Olam HaZeh but not in the World to Come.

2.  It took 98 years, but in the Summer of 2016, Malkhut Edom reached the second condition conceptually described by our prophets and sages that tells us that we are truly at the End of Olam HaZeh from Zecharia 13:8- 9:

  וְהָיָה בְכָל-הָאָרֶץ, נְאֻם-יְהוָה, פִּי-שְׁנַיִם בָּהּ, יִכָּרְתוּ יִגְוָעוּ; וְהַשְּׁלִשִׁית, יִוָּתֶר בָּהּ. 8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the earth, saith the LORD, two parts (out of three) therein shall be cut off and die; but the (final) third shall be left therein.

ט  וְהֵבֵאתִי אֶת-הַשְּׁלִשִׁית, בָּאֵשׁ, וּצְרַפְתִּים כִּצְרֹף אֶת-הַכֶּסֶף, וּבְחַנְתִּים כִּבְחֹן אֶת-הַזָּהָב; הוּא יִקְרָא בִשְׁמִי, וַאֲנִי אֶעֱנֶה אֹתוֹ--אָמַרְתִּי עַמִּי הוּא, וְהוּא יֹאמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהָי.  {פ} 9 And I will bring this (final) third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried; they shall call on My name, and I will answer them; I will say: 'It is My people', and they shall say: 'The LORD is my God.'  This is important to know because this is the most important condition that Mashiach must come.... or else.  G-d is not going to allow His world to be spiritually polluted any further than this condition of 2/3rds Reprobate set down by Zecharia 13.

3. The final concept that must be integrated into this picture to understand the very End comes from last weeks parshah Shlach Lecha when the Spies were sent to spy out the Land for their own benefit, something that turned out to be the biggest fashlah in all of Jewish history.  Yet, this is what it says in BaMidbar 13: 21-22

  וַיַּעֲלוּ, וַיָּתֻרוּ אֶת-הָאָרֶץ, מִמִּדְבַּר-צִן עַד-רְחֹב, לְבֹא חֲמָת. 21 So they went up, and spied out the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, at the entrance to Hamath.

כב  וַיַּעֲלוּ בַנֶּגֶב, וַיָּבֹא עַד-חֶבְרוֹן, וְשָׁם אֲחִימַן שֵׁשַׁי וְתַלְמַי, יְלִידֵי הָעֲנָק; וְחֶבְרוֹן, שֶׁבַע שָׁנִים נִבְנְתָה, לִפְנֵי, צֹעַן מִצְרָיִם. 22 And they went up into the South, and came unto Hebron; and Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were there.--Now Hebron was built seven years before Tzo'an in Egypt.

That last sentence in verse 22 is a real curiosity.  It seems disconnected from the entire narrative of the journey of the spies when they spied out the Land for 40 days.  We are told a fact about Chevron when the spies arrive there that Chevron was built 7 years before Tzo'an was in Mitzra'im.  Very curious.  Rashi says that this verse shows that Chevron was 7 times greater in purity, physical bounty, and sanctity than Tzo'an in Egypt was in impurity, physical bounty, and debauchery.  That is a nice pshat, but it is missing some depth.  The question that immediately comes to mind is why is this distinction in greatness expressed in YEARS?  After years of thought about this, I would like to introduce a Chiddush.  We are being told in the Torah about two polar opposites, both created almost at the same time.  Tzo'an was where the Pharaohs of the Old Kingdom sat in Mitzraim.  We can argue the point if the Pharaohs of the Exodus were from the Old Kingdom or not, but there is a lot of evidence that Yosef was the Great Imhotep, the vizier of Djoser who guided that Pharaoh through the pitfalls of a seven year famine and who lived until the "ripe old age of 110".  Of course Egyptologists say that Djoser ruled according to their calculations 900 years before Seder Olam dating for the Exodus, but perhaps they are simply dead wrong?  Assuming the possibility that Moshe and Aharon performed the 10 plagues before a Pharaoh from the Old Kingdom in this city called Tzo'an (Tanis in Greek) which was an actual capital of ancient Egypt during the 21st and 22nd dynasties of the New Kingdom, then it was specifically in Tzo'an that Israel had to be redeemed in the last instant before falling below the 49th level of impurity.   On the issue of how a city that was the Capital of Mitzraim during the New Kingdom was actually the City of the Pharaohs of the Old Kingdom, you will need to ask someone more expert than I am.  Sorry, Egyptology is not my full fledged expertise.   But let us assume that the Torah is telling us that at the time that Tzoan was founded to eventually be the place where Israel fell almost below the 49th level of impurity, the City of Chevron had only been founded seven years before.  It is the City of Chevron that even precedes Yerushalayim to the 50th Gate of Sanctity, often called Sha'ar HaNun when Mashiach comes.  It explains that when King David became king, he first ruled in Chevron for 7 years before moving his capital to Ir David in Yerushalayim.  It explains why Qorbanot, The qorban tamid, could not be offered in the Temple in Yerushalayim until the sun had risen in Chevron about two minutes after the sun had already risen in Yerushalayim.  And as we all know, the Avot did mitzvot bein Adam leChaveiro for their own sake in Chevron for most of the days of their lives in Eretz Yisrael while they only occasionally made pilgrimages to Yerushalayim on really special occasions to keep commandments bein Adam leMakom such as Akeidat Yitzchak or to tithe to MelkhiTzedeq after Avraham rescued Lot from the 4 kings or when Ya'akov had his dream of a ladder that went to Heaven over Beit El, but he somehow was immediately transported to the Temple Mount. Yes, there were these occasions, but the everyday lives of the Avot were either in Beer Sheva or Chevron.  And when it came time to do the ultimate bein Adam LeChaveiro of burying the Dead, a Chessed shel Emeth, the mitzvah was done in Chevron.  It is into this mileau that we are told that the City that would first rise to the 50th Gate of Sanctity when Mashiach comes was built 7 years before the City that most represented the fall into the 50th level of debauchery.  And from this we learn a very deep spiritual concept.  At the End of Days when Mashiach comes b'itah, if it is to be b'itah, Mashiach could come b'itah Achishena 7 years before 2/3rds of Mankind falls into the spiritual Garbage dump.  We would be given a Test during the Shmittah cycle leading up to the 7th year beforehand.  If we had passed the test, Mashiach could have come by passing a basic test in human decency seven years BEFORE 2/3rds of Mankind reached the quicksand below Mem Tet Shaarei Tumah.  This is the case because the world as a whole b'itah can never be more than 6 years out of spiritual balance even on the side of positivity and purity.  Purity can never be more than six years out of balance with complete spiritual impurity.  So it is no accident that the seven year cycle ending seven years before the Summer of 2016 (5776) was the Gog W. Bush Jr. son of Gog Bush Sr.. Shmittah cycle from 5762 until 5769 that is from Hoshana Rabbah of the Motzei Shmittah year 5762 until Hoshana Rabbah of the Motzei Shmittah year 5769.  In the middle of that cycle in 5765 came the test of basic human decency which we failed called the evacuation of Gush Qatif whose failure we have recounted countless times on this blog.  Frankly, I do not want to review the epic failure at this time from 15 years ago except to say that in this 6th year of this Shmittah cycle the chickens or consequences of that evacuation have finally come home to roost.  It is at this point, where a Kal veChomer needs to be introduced, maybe the most important "even the more so" for this Final Redemption.  If the world cannot be out of balance even on the side of positivity and goodness more than 6 years b'itah Achishena, EVEN THE MORE SO on the side of negativity and Tumah, the world cannot be out of balance more than 6 years!!  In short, since the Redemption did not come by the end of the Gog W. Bush Jr. Shmittah cycle in 5769 because of our outlandish behavior in 5765, 2/3rds of humanity fell off the spiritual cliff by the Summer of 5776 (2016).  So for the last 6 years starting in the Summer of 5775 when we were at the 49th level of impurity about to fall off the Cliff, the entire world or all of humanity is in a severe spiritual deficit.  The last 6 years, the entire World is like a spiritual Mad Max movie, the first 6 years of a truly Dystopian Shmittah cycle.  It is in the 7th year of this degenerate cycle that through Divine justice, G-d Himself brings the entire world back into balance, not just by balancing off the 7th year with equal purity against the forces of darkness that have characterized the last 6 years.  But through Divine Justice the Forces of Purity must be at least 6 fold greater than the deficit for each year of the previous 6 years!  In short in the Shmittah year 5782, Purity must come roaring back 6 fold to counter the deficit for the last 6 years plus an additional measure to counter the deficit between Evil and Good in the Shmittah year itself.  That is the 7 fold magnification in Purity over Impurity that Rashi was talking about!  That, b'itah, will be the nature of Divine Judgement in this coming Shmittah year against the nations that seek our destruction!  At this stage of degeneracy of Mankind, it is almost impossible to expect a rectification for Mashiach to come in another way... still praying for Achishena every day.

To be honest, there are several more concepts that need to be discussed such as the bending of the Tzadee Tzofit in MaNTzPaKh in the last one year and 9 months of this Shmittah cycle starting from when Yehonatan Pollard, Mashiach ben Ephraim, landed in Tzion on the 15th of Tevet 5781, but it is getting very late.  Hint: It is Mashiach ben Ephraim ben Yosef who puts the bent Tzadee in the word Tzion (ציון) by adding the concept of the Tzaddiq to Yawan (יון).  This explains why our judgement here in Israel during the 6th year had to begin in the Shimon HaTzaddiq neighborhood with the eviction of those four Arab Squatter families, for it was Shimon HaTzaddiq who welcomed Alexander the Great to Yerushalayim who in real actuality added the Tzaddiq to Yawan!  And it is extremely important that in the 7th year, Israel not be judged harshly in the same Cheshbon as the Umot HaOlam will be held in account.  So our suffering here MUST be intense in the 6th year so that we will not be figured in with the nations of the world in the 7th year.  So the judgements in the last trimester of the nine months in the 6th year will seem very acute and intense here in Eretz Yisrael so that the 7th year hopefully beginning during Sukkot will not lead to our destruction.    And just like it says in Yishaiyahu 34:8, the entire year of 5782 will be a year of recompense for the Cause of Tzion!  And this very long post needs to temporarily end at this point to be continued at a later date.  I am publishing it now.
