Shushan is Perplexed......Again.

UPDATE:  Hot link added below

Today that just ended was the 13th of Nissan.   It was Erev Erev Pesach.   2400 years ago Haman the viceroy of the Persian Empire signed a deal with his King Achashveirosh (pronounced Xerxes by the Greeks) to annihilate every Jew in the world.  And then they sat down the two of them to sip some old brandy, and the City of Shushan was "perplexed".

Now skip forward 24 Centuries.  If we take Rav Shlomo Riskin Chief Rabbi of Efrat and former Rav of the Lincoln Sq. Synagogue in the Upper West Side of Manhattan at his word, then Obama in the US White House is Haman again.  And Haman in the W. House just signed another "Deal" lo and behold on  ....... the 13th of Nissan.... with the Mullahs running the modern version of the Persian Empire to pave the way for their attainment of a nuclear warhead.  And once again Shushan is Perplexed....  We are in process....

Pesach Kosher veSameach!

Persia expects their Messiah (Mahdi) to appear in 2015-2016 [see below] and we all know how they will make this happen.

"Discovering Islam, in association with End Times Research Center,
is pleased to inform you about
a great book about the End Times which contains more than 2500 pages:

The End Times : Based on Numerical Analysis of the Quran, Hadith, Arabic Words, and Historical Events"

"The latest research of End Times Research Center indicates that, in-sha-Allah (if Allah is willing), the first phase of the End of Time is likely to start (and the Mahdi is likely to emerge) in year 2015 (or 2016). "

2)"Our latest research seems to indicate that, most probably, the first phase of the End of Time will start when the first evil person (أعرج Araj, False Elijah / Elias, Messiah son of Joseph, etc.) arrives. This will trigger the Imam Mahdi (Mehdi) (ظهور أو خروج الإمام المهدي) to appear, in-sha-Allah (if God is willing)".

The End Times is likely to start either in 2015 or 2016, in-sha-Allah (if Allah is willing). Currently, the probabilities seem to be as follows:
- Year 2015 : 55 %

- Year 2016 : 40 %

- Year 2017 or afterwards : 5 %

Some of the possible periods in 2015 for the beginning of the End Times include :

Year 2015 is very unique because the beginning and end of the Islamic Hijri months and the Jewish month coincide with each other. This is a rare phenomenon.

re: your comment on the previous post, about the date of Esther's seuda and the hanging of Haman:

According to the Gemara Megila pp. 15-16 and Rashi there, Esther's 1st seuda was on 15 Nisan (the 2nd day of the fast), and Haman was hung on the eve of 17 Nissan.

However the Maharsha points out that this means that Achashverosh's sleepless night ("BaLayala HaHu Nadeda Shnat HaMelech") was on 16 Nissan, and this contradicts the famous Midrash (also in the Targum on Megilat Esther, and in the Piyut "VaYehi BeChatzi HaLayla" at the end of the Haggada) that "BaLayla Hahu" means Leil HaSeder - 15 Nissan, the night that was destined since Creation for miracles for Am Yisrael.

The Yearot Devash has a mind-blowing reconciliation to this contradiction. IY"H I'll bring it later.

back from Tzefat. We are home for Chol HaMo'ed. We may or may not be in Beit Shemesh with in-laws for the 7th Day of Pesach and for our rare foray into an "8th Day" of Pesach which is really Shabbat Shemini in Eretz Yisrael with Pesach meals but with Shabbat Kiddush. Tzefat is 2 hours and 40 minutes from here (Kochav Ya'akov). Beit Shemesh is about 45 to 50 minutes from here on those rare occasions when Hwy 38 is free of congestion.

In Chutz HaAretz there is a common mnemonic: Shemini b'Shemini b'Nissan, Shmonah Pa'amim. When Shemini is first read Shabbat afternoon on the 8th of Nissan, it is read a total of 8 times until it is read in full the Shabbat AFTER the 8th day of Pesach (Shabbat, Monday, Thursday, 1st day of Pesach in the afternoon, 8th day of Pesach in the afternoon, Monday, Thursday, and finally Shabbat Shemini). That mnemonic does NOT apply in Eretz Yisrael since there is never an 8th day of Pesach. There is only a 7th day of Pesach on which no melachah is done in Eretz Yisrael. This makes Seudat HaMashiach on the 7th day of Pesach almost impossible to do on a Friday afternoon leading into Shabbat. I forget what we did in 5772 the last and only time this has occurred here since we made Aliyah.

Iran already is threatening to rip up the deal if Obama does not annul all sanctions forever.

As with Palestinian Authority “negotiations” with Israel, under the iron fist of the Obama administration, it already is clear that Iran already is negotiating in public to push

Obama further against the wall.

The more he pushes, the more Congress might push back and ditch the deal.

2) State Dept. says asking Iran to state it does not want to destroy Israel would only complicate matters.

The UK's Daily Telegraph has this article about how the unsigned deal with Iran was verbally agreed.

The article explains how Obama studied nuclear physics in order to understand the technical details of what Iran was doing.

Also how it ended up being one scientist from each country thrashing out very complex technical issues whilst the diplomats were not able to understand these technical details.

Personally I think there are two problems.

1.) Iran may just go ahead and threaten to use the bomb in a national "Suicide Bomber" concept.

2. As I have previously speculated, I think Iran has a nuclear bombs already, but the USA has not found them. One is buried deep in Iran, the other is being looked after by the North Korean's

Moadim L'Simcha, here is the article:

(in continuation of my previous comment)
R' Yonasan Eibeschitz's amazing Teirutz to the Maharsha's Kushia:

From the first few chapters of Sefer Ezra we learn that Zrubavel and many of Gdolei Yisrael made Aliyah to Eretz Yirael during the reign of Koresh and started to build the temple, about 15 years before the Purim miracle. They managed to build the altar and started sacrificing the Korbanot before Haman's sons complained to Koresh and he gave the order to stop.
This would necessarily require the Sanhedrin to be in Jerusalem in order to determine Roshei Chodashim so that Musaf Rosh Chodesh would be sacrificed on time.
The month of Adar that preceded Haman's Gzeira was set by the Sanhedrin, according to the seeing of the new moon, to 30 days! But as this was before they had the standard procedures to notify the Gola, the Chachamim in Shushan didn't receive notification on time, and ruled that Adar should be 29 days as in most years.
The Megila records the dates according to the Shushan calendar, whereas the Targum & Midrash follow the true timing, by which everything was actually one day earlier: the Gzeira was on 12 Nissan, etc.

What we also gain from this: According to Midrash Rabba and Pirkei DeRabbi Eliezer, the fast started immediately on the day of the Gzeira, and actually wasn't 3 full days, but 2 and a fraction - the remainder of 13, 14 & 15. Although they were sure that were fasting on the night of Pesach, and missing the Mitzva of eating Matza, according to the true calendar the fast ended on the 14th, and everybody ate Matza on time!

LondonMale, I read the article and it is still not clear what thw agreement does and doesn't do. Already Iran is saying their understanding of it and America's are not the same. I believe at some point in time they will declare they have been deceived and abandon the whole process. I don't believe they will abandon making a bomb. They will deceive America just so they can benefit financially and on the global scene.

It really is difficult to understand the details. Israel is not outlining specifics where they see it is not viable.

Neshama , here is Bibi

So now the West is already worried, because supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has still found nothing to say about it, especially since President Hassan stood up with words of praise,

So that is it, everyone knows Iran is openly deceiving the West.

Neshama, I spoke with many refugees from Iran, Iran only wants one thing, the bomb and Iran's leadership is meshugo, they believe it is a religious must for them to destroy the world (US the big satan and Israel is the small satan as they call it) so their Mahdi (Messiah) can come and, they want him asap (you can also Google that)!

It is very difficult for most people to give up their beliefs, even for money!!

Iran wants their Messiah (Mahdi) and now as bad as you want yours, now.

I have a question for Iran's leadership: ones everyone wlll be dead thanks to your means, who will your Messiah need to come for, the dust, you in your bunker ??

Interestingly enough, Neshama, in my opinion that is actually one of the issues- that there is clarity or cohesion from.the two sides.
This side says this, that side says they understood it to be that way...I believe obammy understands this very well. Can you imagine that Kerry goes to Iran or wherever they have been "laying the blueprint"out and subjects himself to the screaming and yelling from the Iranians all the while knowing this is truly a bad and false deal and that the only people who benefit from this is the enemy. The other one who wants this is the enemy in the While House...
It's a joke, but the problem is the end result of the "joke." They already have nuclear weapons, I believe. They continue to make use of time through stalling and arguing all the while the centrifuges are spinonn from multiple's all a (dangerous) joke/hoax...

If the North Koreans were helping the Syrians make a bomb, surely they have similar entanglements with the Persians. This entire delay is for the purpose of developing delivery systems.

262 Iran MPs: Yemen war will backfire on Saudi Arabia
DEBKAfile April 6, 2015, 5:53 PM (IDT)

Iranian lawmakers have unanimously denounced Saudi Arabia’s military intervention against Yemen, warning that the adverse consequences of the ongoing war on Sana’a will undoubtedly backfire on Riyadh.
"The Al Saud regime should know that the fire rekindled in Yemen will engulf it and will impose heavy costs on the Muslim world," a group of 262 legislators said in a statement.
“The formation of a fabricated coalition will further complicate problems in the Muslim world and the Middle East region,” the statement read, adding that support of the US, the Israeli regime and their allies for Saudi Arabia’s blatant violation of an independent nation’s sovereignty runs counter to international conventions.

Hello Neshama. Ok, so I read the article you provided the link to.
Ok, so Idon't trust Obama or the Iranians as far as I can throw them. That may be well and true that Obama knew they would capitulate or is surprised that they agreed to anything and that this is historic etc, yet I'm not buying any of of it accept for one thing: It buys time to continue cranking those centrifuges.
So, it does give pause, yet it gives pause to think, perhaps about what ludicrous stuff they all have up their sleeves.
The article goes on to mention Netanyahu not really being able to have it both ways, so to speak (accepting a deal/ or not to accepting a deal " can't have an all out war against the president and then get into negotiations, too...."
Ok, but either way, Netanyahu recognizes that the whole thing is bogus...and that ultimately Iran still laughs at Obama and still wants (and is) building their bombs etc....
(No, Neshama, I'm not being negative against you :)) I just find the whole thing to be so insane....

This is what I posted on Ya'ak's blog either yesterday of the day before yesterday:

Of all the stories above worth reading about (in Ya'ak's list of stories with links), the events in Teiman are worth following closely since those events are the final Shofar blast before Mashiach ben David arrives. In Musaph Rosh HaShanah, there are ten pasukim revolving around the Inyan of Shofarot. The first 3 from the Torah deal exclusively with Matan Torah. The 3 from Ketuvim deal with service in the Beit HaMikdash and the associated shofar and Chatzotzrot blasts along with the "effect" that blowing the Shofar causes HaShem on Rosh HaShanah to ascend form his Kiseh HaDin to His Kiseh HaRachamim. So the Shofarot pasukim in ketuvim have an annual effect at the specific times of year when Shofarot are blown. The 3 shofar blasts in Nevi'im deal exclusively with three events at the End of Days. If the Vilna Gaon can be understood correctly, the first two nevu'ot of shofar blasts occurred in 5750 and 5751 with two aspects of the ingathering of the Exiles associated with the two years that are 3/4 of the way through the 6th millennium as if it were high noon on Yom Shishi. The 2nd blast most definitely refers to Op. Shlomo to ingather the remaining Ethiopian Jews who are the nidachim b'Eretz Mitzraim referred to in the 2nd of the 3 prophetic pasukim. The Ethiopian Jews even had an oral tradition that 200 years after Menelik the son of the Malka Shwa and shlichim from the Tribe of Dan converted Ethiopian Jews to Judaism, their community was strengthened by "Senchariv's porters" from Sheivet Naftali, Dan, and Asher who were no longer needed by the Assyrians after they sacked Memphis in Southern Mitzraim. They were cast off by Senchariv's Army and wandered southward toward Gondar and Lake Tana, the source of the Blue Nile in Ethiopia. Op. Shlomo was in 5751. Therefore by the end of 5751, two of the three shofar blasts had already occurred. The last one is about Teiman and clearly refers to what is happening now. Being a Biblical event, it is worth paying close attention to since it is the Last of the Great Propetic Shofar blasts.

4/09/2015 1:10 AM
Blogger Dov Bar-Leib said...

I slightly revised what I wrote above in the next comment: Looking at the first two prophetic pasukim in Shofarot, it seems that the first shofar blast was in 5708 with the founding of the State of Israel. It refers to a general large scale ingathering of exiles which did occur starting in 5708 from the Sephardic world along with the remnant of Ashkenazic Jews from the Shoah. The 2nd blast was in 5750 and 5751 per the Vilna Gaon's description of the Ingathering of the Exiles that would begin at that time. The difference between pasuk 1 and pasuk 2 is that the first pasuk is a ke'ilu pasuk referring to the ingathering from 5708 until about 5712 as an "As If" a shofar were sounded. The Shofar Blast in 5750 and 5751 was the real thing, a real shofar blast in Shamayim. The 3rd one is what is left.

Zecharia 9:14
14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and His arrow shall go forth as the lightning (Barack in Hebrew); and the Lord GOD will blow the shofar, and will go with whirlwinds (world war) of Teiman.

Does Mashiach ben David come b'itah with this last Shofar blast on Shevi'i shel Pesach? B'itah NO. He comes at the end of the Shmittah year at the beginning of 5776 Motzei Shmittah. But the events will unfold in preparation for his arrival now.

Zechariah Chapter 12
1 The burden of the word of the LORD concerning Israel. The saying of the LORD, who stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundation of the earth, and formed the spirit of man within him:
ב הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי שָׂם אֶת-יְרוּשָׁלִַם סַף-רַעַל, לְכָל-הָעַמִּים--סָבִיב; וְגַם עַל-יְהוּדָה יִהְיֶה בַמָּצוֹר, עַל-יְרוּשָׁלִָם. 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of staggering unto all the peoples round about, and upon Judah also shall it fall to be in the siege against Jerusalem.
3 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a stone of burden for all the peoples; all that burden themselves with it shall be sore wounded; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it.
4 In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with bewilderment, and his rider with madness; and I will open Mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the peoples with blindness.
5 And the chiefs of Judah shall say in their heart: 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength through the LORD of hosts their God.'
6 In that day will I make the chiefs of Judah like a pan of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire among sheaves; and they shall devour all the peoples round about, on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

Lots of things to keep a prophetic eye on...

I wanted to get your take on the awakening Bear - Russia....

Particularly have you heard about a very ominous sign that they are either preparing or making a show of preparing for nuclear war? Some extreme allegations/stories but read about that here:

Then this just breaking:
Former NATO commander: A new Russian offensive in eastern Ukraine is 'imminent'

Read more:

Note "Crimea" is mentioned in the above news piece..remember the Vilna Gaon prophecy regarding Russia going to Crimea and hearing footsteps of Moshiach (came out last year around this time)?

Lastly could the country at the edge of the world in the famous Zohar pasted below (that many had been thinking refers to Korea) really allude to Russia? And the many Children of Edom from the corners of the world be referring to NATO which is essentially trying to checkmate the Russian Federation now?

Zohar Va'era

In the future the children of Yishmael will stir great wars in the world. And the children of Edom [the West] will gather against them, and make war with them, one on the sea, and one on the land, and one near Jerusalem; and each one will prevail over the other but the Holy Land will not fall to the hands of the Christian nations.

During that period of time, a nation from the "edge" of the world (note where North Korea is located geographically) will be awakened against wicked Romi. And it will make war against her for three months, and many nations will gather there, and they will fall by her hand, until all the children of Edom will gather against her from all corners of the earth. And after, G-d will awaken Himself against them, as it says, a "a sacrificial slaughter for the Lord in Batzra", and it says, "to shake the corners of the Land."

Zohar HaKadosh:

A nation will arise from one end of the world (North Korea) against the wicked Rome (Christian nations led by Obama) and will war against them for 3 months. Other nations will join in this war and will fall into the hands (of the nation from edge of the world), till all Edom will unite against this nation. Aterwards, Hashem will 'arise' against them, as it says, A gigantic massacre in the land of Edom.

Note: Immediately following this 3 month war, the evil leader of Edom (America) will spread out his rule over the entire world. Nine months into that move called the final tribulation and birthpangs of Mashiach, he will get up and destroy all the enemies of Israel and mankind.

Finally, how to reconcile with the Yalkut Shimoni of the Iranian provocation of Saudi Arabia, Arabia seeking council with Aram (or Edom) and the Iranian king trying to destroy the world, who is answering to who? Iran to Russia or vice versa?

Trying to synchronize perspective.

The only reason why I am "predicting" now is because the bizarre confluence of events (Iranian Navy in the Gulf of Aden, massive sandstorms in Saudi Arabia, and a truly bizarre winter storm in Israel in the 2nd week in April) are already occurring!! Don't look at it as a prediction, but a heads up. Also didn't the autistics announce/ predict in the Fall that there would be a Shofar blast in Shamayim on the 7th day of Pesach??

Actually Neshama, the Teimani Jews came here on Op. Magic Carpet in 5709 and 5710 (1949- 1950) which would correspond with the first blast of the Ingathering Shofar in 5708. This last blast from which HaShem descends to Teiman on stormwinds is NOT an ingathering blast like the previous two. If Jews throughout the world have not heard the first two blasts, they are playing "deaf" and pretending that the first two blasts have not occurred. This does not mean that everyone could come immediately, but after the ingathering blasts in 5708 and 5750/51, there is no excuse for at least not thinking about making Aliyah as soon as possible especially since the blast in 5750/51 was predicted by the Vilna Gaon 200 years earlier.

China is forging greater military ties with Russia and other US. adversaries. China has engaged in cyber warfare against the US. in numerous ways in recent years. The PLA and Chinese government is no friend of the US or promoter of stability in the region.

China is assuming it’s position as a key player in the culmination of history and the timing of it’s rise is no coincidence. Regardless of what the near future holds in store for the US, one thing is clear. The US. will probably not be a key player at the close of the age. I mention this because it seems the US. may be part of a confederacy of nations originating and based in Europe. DEBKAfile Exclusive Report Apr 10, 2015, 8:30 AM (IDT)

Saudi-Iranian saber-rattling over Yemen reached a dangerous peak Thursday, April 9:

The Saudi army spokesman, Brig. Gen. Ahmad Al-Assiri, said the Iranian flotilla of warships posted to the Gulf of Aden would not be permitted to enter Yemeni territorial waters. He threatened Iranians “remaining in Yemen” would suffer the same fate as the Houthi rebels. An Iranian-Saudi clash of arms in the Red Sea can’t be ruled out, after Egyptian and Iranian warships exchanged fire over the Bab El-Mandeb Strait. Friday, Saudis banned flights of Iranian pilgrims to Mecca.

Shavua Tov Reb Dov and everyone.

I don't know about you, but it's still raining in Yerushalayim and the temperatures at 10:31AM are falling rather than rising. Interestingly, it's also rather on the dark side, as I carefully rearrange everything going from Pesach back to hametz.

For those who were expecting to hear a shofar blast around now, I haven't heard one either. But it may be that this blast wasn't/isn't audible to our earth-bound ears just now. So? Keep watching for the results of the orders being given, seems just as reasonable to me. Sometimes you have to wait a while and see how things this winter rain storm in Nisan/April.

I looked at the videos of the dust storm coming over Saudi. What a sight.

At nearly 11AM I looked at the Yerushamayim weather site, and at 5.9C (with wind chill, 2.9, nearly freezing) the weatherman says it's cold enough to snow (qor shel sheleg). That's down from 6.1 at the earlier time above. Psssssssssh.

Writing from Portland Oregon. I was wondering if anybody can answer this - As it states in the Haftarah Pesach - last day; Isaiah 10:32-12:6 and also in Ezekiel 37: 15-28, that eventually the contentious, antagonistic attitudes between Ephraim and Judah will culminate in a reconciliation and unity among those two tribes - so who actually represents Ephraim TODAY? Is it The non-religious or maybe the Askenazim? And Judah - is that the religious or it possibly represents the Sephardim and or Mizrachim? Does anyone know for certain who these two tribes represent today?
I've always wondered about this. The Brit-am movement - mostly made up of non-jewish Europeans and Americans say Ephraim - the ten tribes - represents them. I would love to have clarity on this issue.

The name of the Strait between the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden is the Mandeb Strait. Whoever controls this Strait controls world commerce through the Suez Canal. This should remind one of a great act of faith by one Ben AMiNaDaB from the Tribe of Yehudah who was an ancestor of King David, further north on the Red Sea on the 7th day of Pesach in stormy weather 3327 years ago.

"Saudi Arabia, Turkey Discussing Unlikely Alliance To Oust Syria's Assad"

(Could this be connected to the Yalkhut Shimoni? In the year the King Moshiach will be revealed, the kings of all the nations of the world will struggle with each other: the king of Persia (Iran) will provoke the Arabian king; the Arabian king will go to Aram [Edom] (the West -now understood to be America/Europe) for advice.

Note: from Wikipedia: Aram is a region mentioned in the Bible located in present-day central Syria.

"WASHINGTON -- Turkey and Saudi Arabia, two nations with a long history of rivalry, are in high-level talks with the goal of forming a military alliance to oust Syrian President Bashar Assad, according to sources familiar with the discussions.

The talks are being brokered by Qatar. As the partnership is currently envisioned, Turkey would provide ground troops, supported by Saudi Arabian airstrikes, to assist moderate Syrian opposition fighters against Assad's regime, according to one of the sources.

President Barack Obama was made aware of the talks in February by the emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad al Thani, during the emir's visit to the White House, one source said. A White House spokesperson declined to comment.
The latest news of high-level talks, however, is the first indication of direct military participation against Assad by either country.
The de facto alliance between the U.S. and Iran is leading some in the Sunni-dominated Gulf region to conclude that they may need militias of their own.

“We are starting to see the actors feeling sufficiently threatened," said Ali, again referring to Turkey and Saudi Arabia, "which makes their actions less predictable -- and makes them willing to take risks that would have previously been seen as excessive -- that would now been seen as necessary for self-preservation."

"If the only way to get the U.S. to go along with us is to show our teeth, we will show our teeth," said one Gulf source. "And Sunni teeth are wild.""

It seems like we have been in a "holding pattern" every year around Pesach with a close call regarding Iran/US/Saudia Arabia for the last several years exactly at this time of year. This time that rehearsal may have been switched to active mode. The major players are there and now "acting"...

It can be argued that Iran has been "provoking" Saudi Arabia through the Houthis in Yemen (the bait) that Saudi Arabia just grabbed.

TODAY: "Russia lifts ban on S-300 missile system delivery to Iran"

I heard a Rabbi Yaakov Yagen Shlit"a CD where he brings a source from a holy Rabbi he met in Israel in recent years that said there's a source (perhaps back to the GRA) stating that when Russians send missiles (whatever word was used) to the Persians this is the time to put on Shabbos clothes and expect Mashiach.

Also from Rabbi Lazer Brody with Lazer Beams in late March, 2014, titled, “Rabbi Moshe Shternbuch: We Hear the Footsteps of Moshiach”, we read;

Rabbi Lazer Brody – “Rav Shternbuch received a closely guarded secret that came to him from Rabbi Yitzchak Chever zatza”l, who received it from Rabbi Chaim of Volozhyn zatza”l, who received it from the Gaon of Vilna himself, who revealed it shortly before his death:

“When you hear that the Russians have captured the city of Crimea, you should know that the times of the Messiah have started, that his steps are being heard. And when you hear that the Russians have reached the city of Constantinople (today’s Istanbul), you should put on your Shabbat clothes and don’t take them off, because it means that the Messiah is about to come any minute.”

It's significant that Turkey is a NATO state, in recent weeks huge tension has been building between Russia and NATO and the developments about Saudi-Turkish talks to oust Assad (an Iran/Russian ally) may be significant to add fuel to that fire.

There's just a whirlwind of developments occurring..hard to keep track...may people do Teshuva and recognize this was predicted...

Was it the case that in Eretz Yisrael, you had to eat Pesach Chometz free food this last Shabbat?
I am not sure whether this happens in Eretz Yisrael, but is Chometz sold to a non-Jew prior to Pesach, with the intent that it is bought back just after Pesach ends?
if so, I guess it would not be possible to "Buy back" the Chometz prior to Shabbat as no legal transaction can take place on a Chag or Shabbat?
Or am I wrong?

Countdown to Israel Attack: Russia Lifts Ban on Missile Sales to Iran

Russia announced Monday that it will sell Iran advanced S-300 surface-to-air missiles. The decision, which ends an embargo dating back to 2010, shows that President Barack Obama is rapidly losing control of the international consensus on Iran.

It also sets Israel a deadline to attack Iran–since Israel has treated the S-300 system as a “red line,” and has attacked Syria several times recently to prevent advanced Russian air defense and anti-ship missile systems from becoming operational.

Some Israeli analysts have recently suggested that Israel will only attack Iran if the regime’s nuclear program poses a direct and imminent threat–if the “sword at the throat.”

So where does the case stand? Having already installed the S-300 in Syria, it is obvious that Russia is arming the Shia in preparation for war.

How interesting that both Syria and Iran are prophesied to take part in wars of the last days and both shall be obliterated.

Syria – Tehilim 83:8 (Assyria) will be destroyed as were the Midianites Tehilim 83:9, BaMidbar 31:1-12
Iran – Yechezkel 38:5 (Persia) and the Gog/Magog alliance will fall on the mountains of Israel, Yechezkel 39:4

Egyptian Military Intervention in Yemen Imminent?

There are indications that Egypt is close to intervening militarily in Yemen as an ally of the Saudis against the Iranian-backed Houthis. In recent posts, I’ve warned that Egypt has a vital national security interest in not allowing any Shiite power to endanger the shipping to and from the Suez Canal via the Red Sea. All southern approaches to the Suez Canal are via the Red Sea which has a very narrow entrance at its southern tip along the Yemenite coast. This choke point is called the Bab al-Mandeb waterway.

Egypt has warned that if the Bab al-Mandeb choke point is threatened, it will intervene in the Yemenite war (first link). Egypt already has warships patrolling the Yemenite coastal region, and the Egyptian navy has already shelled the Houthi Shiites in the region of the southern port city of Aden.

The Houthi Shiites have now seized control of the Yemenite coast at Bab al-Mandeb choke point. This act will trigger Egyptian military intervention in Yemen’s civil war if Egypt acts according to its earlier threat. Both Saudi and Egyptian warships are positioned to take a more active role in the war against the Houthis–Iran’s Shiite surrogates in the Yemenite war.

While the Saudi air war against the Houthis is inflicting damage, it is not slowing the advance of the Houthis in taking over Yemen. It is a repeat of what has been happening in Iraq and Syria. Just as air strikes have hurt and slowed ISIL in Syria and Iraq, events have shown that it takes “boots on the ground” to stop hostile “boots on the ground.” The same reality is unfolding in Yemen.

The facts on the ground are indicating that if Saudi Arabia is serious about stopping Iran from having a Shiite client state in Yemen and if Egypt is serious about not letting Iran’s surrogates control the strategic waterway at the Bab al-Mandeb, both nations will have to have their navies take a more active role in shelling the Houthis from the sea and both nations will have no choice but to put their armies on the ground inside Yemen to hurl back the Shiite advance. Given the continuing Shiite/Houthi advance inside Yemen, Iran will soon have a client state controlling Yemen and the approaches to the Suez Canal unless Egypt and Saudi Arabia take more aggressive action.

Hence, we are continuing to witness the jostling for position that modern nations are taking as the latter day alliances prophesied in Yechezkel 38 take shape. Iran (“Persia”) is a major nation in the Russian- and Chinese-led Gog-Magog alliance (Yechezkel 38:5), and it is advancing all over the Mideast via its surrogates, and it is going to succeed in Yemen as well unless Saudi Arabia and Egypt are serious about intervening forcefully enough to stop Iran’s plans for domination of Yemen. Its seems evident that Saudi air strikes are ineffective in turning the tide. If Egypt and Saudi Arabia don’t intervene inside Yemen with their armies soon, Iran is headed for a major victory in Yemen. I don’t think Egypt can afford to stay idle while Iran takes control of the approaches to Egypt’s Suez Canal.

In times of war all these "Conventions" including the Montreux Convention are thrown out the window especially if it is in regard to Russian military access to the Mediterranean. If the Turks unite with the Saudis against Iran, surely the Turks will limit Russian military access through the Bosporus and the Dardanelles. I believe we see precedents to this during WW2 and the Cold War when rules were changed, bent, or outright ignored by the Turks and their adversaries. International Law during Peacetime is written by those who have the money to dominate the world, and during wartime by those who have the larger Navy and Air Force to watch over their ships from above.

Correct London: In a year in which the 7th Day of Pesach falls out on a Friday, the following day, Shabbat, has to be done chametz free with matzah instead of loaves of chametz. In such years the "8th day" is from a dietary perspective still Pesach with one exception: Ashkenazim can prepare meals and eat meals with kitniyot on such Shabbatot! One good example would be if one had a container of Kosher for Passover Chumus which is chametz free chumus, one could eat it on Shabbat. Or one could even prepare meals with kosher for Passover rice or peas with the intent of eating it on Shabbat.

Eating chametz on Shabbos post Pesach.

Per the Yalkut Yosef 448:5

It is permitted to eat Chometz on a Shabbos which is immediately after Sheviyi Shel Pesach - there is no Muktza involved, and you if it was sold to the non Jew according to Halacha you may eat it on the day of Shabbos immediately after Sheviyi Shel Pesach. However you have to be extra careful not to take the chometz on Sheviyi Shel Pesach since then you will be prohibited to eat it since you have done Baal Yiro'eh U'Baal Yimotzei. (Yechave Daas 2 Siman 64, Yabia Omer Orach Chaim 9 Siman 46)

I just read the blogpost that Leah recommended.

To summarise for those who coudl not acces it, it suggests Putin sold the surface-to- air S-300 missile defence system to Iran to bring in much needed money to Russia. BUT...that Netanyahu has a working relationship with Putin, which is healthier than that with Obama.
Putin and Netanyahu meet regularly.
Netanyahu knows that the missile defence system takes about six months to deliver, install and be operational.
So Putin has effectively given Netanyahu a "Head's Up" on how long Israel has to attack Iran, before the surface-to-air missile system will make such a task a lot harder.

Is not the Chometz bought back from the non-Jew just after Pesach ends, by means of a contract which must be signed by the Jewish seller?
If so, as Rav Dov previously wrote, such a contract can only be signed after Pesach, so if Shabbat falls immediately after Pesach, the Chometz cannot be bought back until after Shabbat ends.
So even if there is permission from your source to eat Chometz after Pesach, the Chometz in reality cannot be eaten, because it remains the property of the non-Jew until the contract to buy it back is signed?

Not correct. Read the Hebrew psak below

In Israel, there is a stipulation in the Rabbanut contract saying that the non-Jew agrees to the use of the Chometz even before the buy-back on the following Sunday.

Blogger Dov Bar-Leib said...

So the Chametz still belongs to the Goy, but because of a stipulation in the original contract, we can be meikal and eat of the Chametz on Shabbat after Chag Pesach. Thanks.

More and more pieces are coming together right now. Bibi is the last leader of Israel until Mashiach comes. Apparently on Zech 12:

וְסָפְדָה הָאָרֶץ, מִשְׁפָּחוֹת מִשְׁפָּחוֹת לְבָד: מִשְׁפַּחַת בֵּית-דָּוִיד לְבָד, וּנְשֵׁיהֶם לְבָד--מִשְׁפַּחַת בֵּית-נָתָן לְבָד, וּנְשֵׁיהֶם לְבָד. 12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart: the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
יג מִשְׁפַּחַת בֵּית-לֵוִי לְבָד, וּנְשֵׁיהֶם לְבָד; מִשְׁפַּחַת הַשִּׁמְעִי לְבָד, וּנְשֵׁיהֶם לְבָד. 13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shimeites apart, and their wives apart;

First of all, Bibi is a Levi. At the senior Likud Shabbaton in Tzefat, he took the Levi Aliyah to the Torah.

The Ibn Ezra takes issue with Rashi's peirush that the Natan referred to in Zecharia refers is the brother of Shlomo HaMelekh. (The Ibn Ezra is a Rishon. He can argue with Rashi all he wants.) The Ibn Ezra said that even though this may be the case, it is just as likely if not more likely that the Natan being referred to here is a prophetic end of days figure who will be the pre-eminent ancestor of this last leader of the Lowly Medinah before Mashiach comes. Well low and behold, how did Bibi get his last name? The Father of Religious Zionism and ancestor of the entire Netanyahu clan! Bibi's grandfather

No wonder why in listing Bibi's yichus, Zecharia haNavi mentions the House of Natan first after King David!!

Then it mentions that he will be a Levi.

And then it mentions that he is from Shim'i ben Geira ben Kish, the nephew of Shaul HaMelekh and the ancestor of Mordechai to complete the role of Shaul HaMelekh and to repair the damage of the curse of Shim'i ben Geira which he cursed King David while running away from AvShalom his son.

So Bibi fits the profile. His problem? Does he choose the heroic and possibly martyred role of Zecharia 12, or does he cave and bring on the End in Zecharia 14 with the splitting of the Mt. of Olives on the First day of Sukkot 5776? We will know by Lag B'Omer when he has form the 34th Govt. of the Lowly Medinah.

The Yalkut Shimoni touches on many future scenarios both for the nation of Israel and for the world. In its section on Isaiah and the prophecies contained therein, a rabbi cited by the Yalkut Shimoni states:

“That the year the Messiah will arrive when all the nations of the world will antagonize each other and threaten with war. The king of Persia (Iran) antagonizes the King of Arabia (Saudi Arabia) with war. The King of Arabia goes to Edom (The Western Countries, headed by USA) for advice. Then the King of Persia destroys the world (and since that cannot be done with conventional weapons it must mean nuclear which can destroy most of the world). And all the nations of the world begin to panic and are afraid, and Israel too is afraid as to how to defend from this. G'd then says to them “Do not fear for everything that I have done is for your benefit, to destroy the evil kingdom of Edom and eradicate evil from this world so that the Messiah can come, your time of redemption is now.”

We can see examples of this prophecy unfolding – On September 25, 2007 Ahmadinejad spoke at the UN Assembly and said that “soon the regimes of the Western world will fall and be destroyed. This threat is not just an ideology, we know based on Israeli and world intelligence that Iran has a secret nuclear plant where it is producing nuclear warheads for their missiles.

Another interesting fact recently published in the world press is that astrologers see this winter as the “Nuclear Winter” in which the Western world will be destroyed by Iran with Nuclear weapons (which matches up with ancient prophecy).

This clearly indicates the pending probability of a Third World War, the likes which we have never seen before, to be initiated by Iran. Based on the Prophecy mentioned, the war will have three stages:

Stage One – President of Iran threatens and antagonizes the King of Saudi Arabia
Stage Two – The King of Saudi Arabia turns to the West for advice and protection.
Stage Three – Iran opens fire, starts Third World War and destroys the West.

If Bibi accepts Bennett's "demand" to have Avigdor Liberman's old job as Foreign Minister, Zecharia 12 will transpire as a result. The nations of the world will put out a contract on Bibi's head in order to remove him from the scene..,but then he will be the only casualty in the Battle to divide Yerushalayim. In many ways it will be the fulfillment of a verse in Chad Gadya. The Shochet will have his day against the Ox. Or is it the Angel of Death will execute the Shochet? It all depends who you think Mashiach ben Yosef is. Is he the Ox or is he the Shochet?

The other possibility is that Bibi caves to the immense pressure that is being applied on him. He forms the 34th Govt. of the lowly Medinah with the Erev Rav and brings on the Division of Yerushalayim in Zecharia 14 instead with the splitting of the Mt. of Olives by G-d Himself during Sukkot....along with all that transpires between now and then, 5 1/2 months left of Olam HaZeh. World War this summer, just another bump (sic.) in the road.

The Video That Obama Doesn’t Want Americans to See

4/19/2015 11:58 AM

The ‘Framework’ for Israel’s Doom

Front Page Magazine: “It was recently revealed that the President intends to publicly endorse specific borders and other terms for a Palestinian state, which he hopes will go down in history as the “Obama Framework.” But it would be more truthful to call it what it is — the Palestinian Framework.

The new “Obama Framework” scheme was reported on March 30 by Jackson Diehl, deputy editorial page editor of the Washington Post, a journalist whom the Obama administration has often used to leak information it wants to float for trial balloons.

Palestine’s territory would be based on Israel pre-1967 borders
Jerusalem would be the capital of both nations.”
The thorny question of Palestinian refugees would be dispatched with a call for an ‘agreed solution’.”
A stipulation that Israel would remain the homeland of the Jewish people.”
A description of security arrangements would glide over the question of exactly how the West Bank and Gaza would be prevented from becoming a launching pad for attacks on Israel.

Comments: First, it is important to note that the authors Moshe Philips and Benyamin Korn are forgetting that according to the prophets when Israel is restored to the land a second time – it will never again be uprooted, Amos 9:15; Isaiah 11:11.

Second, notice that the so-called Obama Framework has not changed since the president’s speech on May 19, 2011 when the president declared that the prevailing borders before the 1967 Arab-Israeli war — adjusted to some degree to account for Israeli settlements in the West Bank — should be the basis of a deal.

But that doesn’t mean that Biblically ignorant politicians will not try to destroy Israel, but in fact, they are the people G'd will use to bring about the prophesied wars that will determine Israel’s glorious future.

Zechariah 14:4 “On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.”

Isaiah 2:4 “He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war any more.”

Neshama: I realize that this is hard to understand on the tachlis level, but if the Umot HaOlam murder the leader who is ben Natan ben Levi at the end of days, somehow only HaShem takes over for awhile with no earthly govt. as Mashiach ben David consolidates his rule. Zecharia 12 spends much of its time talking about how Mashiach ben David consolidates his rule as the nations of the world busy themselves with ridding themselves of ben Natan who is a ben Levi whose tacklit in the world is ben Shimi. Notice how Zecharia 12 says that the House of Natan mourns and that the House of Levi mourns, but it only says that the Family of Shimi mourns without mentioning his house.

Anon: The 1335 date is really 6 years later, 5782 because if we have to build the 3rd Temple, it will take about 6 years to build. 5782 is exactly 1335 years after the Arabs laid the cornerstone of the Mosque of Omar (The Dome of the Rock) over the Even Shtiyah or the place of the Mizbeach, not sure which, on the Temple Mt. That year was 687 ce (4447). 5782 is 2022 ce 1335 years later. This assumes rather obviously that the Abomination that Makes Desolate is the Dome of the Rock over the heart of the site where the Temples once stood. Again there is a dispute whether the Golden Dome is built over the Mizbeach or the Holy of Holies.

Actually it will take almost 7 years to build the 3rd Temple if Ben David comes early in 5776 because the Dedication of the 3rd Temple or its completion could be on Shabbat Tisha B'Av 5782. Shlomo HaMelekh also took 7 1/2 years to build the First Temple. This one will be much much bigger, but it is being built with advanced technology and building methods. So is should take about the same length of time.

Mark: Enjoy your peace and prosperity as long as it lasts. I am not the only one talking about a major war this summer. The list of those talking about such a war gets longer and longer every day. It should not bother you that I or anyone else disagrees with your worldview and your desire for so many things to remain the same. This world is steeped in Rishut. If you can find a way to bring Mashiach without destroying the Evil that runs this world, take it up with G-d, not me.

An hour before the Great Flood before the storm clouds gathered, I am sure there were a million people named Mark who were badgering Noach, "Where is the Flood? Where is the downpour? You wasted so much time telling us to repent because G-d is set on destroying the world. The birds are chirping, and the cows are mooing. Nothing is going to happen." An hour later it was too late. At least this time we can see the storm clouds gathering such as Iran sending its own armada to the Gulf of Aden to resupply the Houthis to counteract America's armada. So we have less an excuse now than we did at the time of Noach when literally a day before the Great Flood, the weather was likely spectacular.

Not sure that Naftali is Mashiach ben Yosef. He has the rei'ach of Mashiach ben Yosef. I believe that we had Naftali and Chushim ben Dan (Uri Ariel), but the real Mashiach ben Ephraim never got out of jail. still there after 29 years. He almost got out for Pesach 5774 in exchange for 400 murderers, a veritable army of the Ayin Ra, but the Ba'al Kerry's deal for those 400 men + another 26 men from the original releases never materialized. The real date that Mashiach ben Ephraim was supposed to start ruling was in 5766 according to the Zohar, but something went dreadfully wrong in 5765 which disconnected us from all Achishena awakenings and spiritual redemptions. Yes, Moriah, and the Chareidi support or total disinterest in many cases thereof. It was an unmitigated spiritual disaster. The keilim for Geulah Achishena in 5765 and 5766 were torn asunder. Yet, I focus on B'itah now when the opinion of someone like Aryeh Deri and the Ashkenazi Chareidi MKs who went to the Dead Sea beach during key votes in 5765 on Gush Katif won't even matter for the rest of us. I should give an honorable mention to those who did not support the Disengagement: Most of Shas under the leadership of Eli Yishai, Rav Meir Porush, the Admor m'Sadigora, the Erloir Rebbe, Rav Ovadia Yosef, etc. We will try to focus on them, the good guys. With B'itah we can work on ourselves and assure ourselves a seat in the process while all others who never fail to disappoint will flounder.

This is definitely b'itah because the "We are under Haman's authority" moment has arrived since Shushan was perplexed again on the 13th of Nissan. A leader or leaders like Haman are deciding our fate, so they think, with this New Deal with the Mullahs being cooked up by Obie and the Ba'al Kerry. For those of you who like milestones, as of this evening we are over 1/3rd of the way to counting the 49 days or seven weeks of the Omer before Shavuot. Today is the 17th day of the Omer, two weeks and three days to the Omer. The Sefirah is Tifereth that is in Tifereth. It does have something to do with the Fall of Persia in ancient times in the same way that netzach that is in netzach (the 25th day of the Omer) is related to the Fall of Greece (Yawan) as on the 25th of Kislev and hod that is in hod (Lag b'Omer or the 33rd day of he Omer) is related to the destruction of Rome. And of course Gevurah that is in Gevurah, the 9th day of the Omer, relates to the destruction of Bavel and Chessed that is in Chessed relates to the destruction of Mitzra'im. One thing that I was thinking about Persia and 17 is that Haman according to one calculation was hung on the 17th of Nissan. For Yesod and Malkhut, the Umot HaOlam are have no real connection.

(could the developments in the Arabian Sea be the "one at sea" above?)

During that period of time, a nation from the "edge" of the world will be awakened against wicked Romi.

Thank you for the Ger list. It seems that a Ger Umot HaOlam is also a righteous gentile who lives amongst the nations. So the previous commenter was correct after all. A Chasid Umot HaOlam is an even higher level, a gentile who does goodness above and beyond what G-d demands such as going out of one's way to save innocent human lives by putting one's life on the line.

Part of the problem with using the word Ger for this variety of uses is that its original meaning was: resident, even temporary resident (and by extension) stranger. All the other expressions of what a Ger is are tangential extensions to its original meaning. So the word has come to mean "new Jews"- Ger Tzedeq and "non-Jewish residents of Eretz Yisrael"- Ger Toshav along with all the ones that you mentioned. But the original meaning is temporary resident or stranger. When we say in Hebrew that someone has come lagur sham, we are saying that he has come "to reside there temporarily". Other verbs like lishkone לשכון or lehishtakei'a להשתקע refer to dwelling in a place more permanently. Lagur means more to sojourn. In our transient society it has come to mean to live in a place with no intention on how long one might stay. From this simple meaning all the other definitions have exploded forth.

In Hebrew LeGayer means "to convert" to Judaism. This was the case at least in Mishnaic (2nd Temple period) Hebrew. I would have to do an intensive Koncordantzia search to see if that specific cognate of Ger in Binyan Pi'el is in Tanakh at all, or did that word develop in Misha'ic times....Yes, I am sure one of you out there has already investigated this matter.

It seems that the White House has clarified the goals of its operation to send Naval ships to the Strait of AMiNaDeB: Those ships are there to enforce the UN resolution to prevent the rearming of the Houthis by the Persians, of course. This has nothing to do with the US Congress. They are a non-player. The Obama Administration is only into enforcing his own diktats and UN Sec. Council resolutions these days.

Here is CNN, the mouthpiece for the Obama Administration and all its allied menuvalim, discussing what monitoring Persian ships in the Strait of AMiNaDeB and the Gulf of Aden really means. Sen. John McCain of course is sounding the alarm about the powder keg that might go boom any day now.

CNN is shocked that Obama's little toy boat maneuver might offend the Shi'ite Mullahs when he is forced to board of couple ships in Yemenite territorial waters. But if Persian Naval Commander Habibolla (Allah is my Chabibi) Sayyari keeps engaging in peacetime activities that the Persians are know for.....not (escorting commercial ships through the pirate infested waters of the Strait of Aminadeb and the Gulf of Aden), the lit match and the dry fuse will never go boom, and Mark can continue to enjoy the moo cows and the chirping birds of Olam HaZeh. Here is our friend and yours Allah is My Chabibi Sayyari! Gotta trust someone with a face like that along with that naval crew cut so characteristic of Persian Naval officers.

The judge demanded that the MTA must show a clear connection from the ad to violence in order for it to lose its status as protected speech.

A recent Gallup poll placed Israel near the bottom in terms of religious beliefs. Only 30 percent of Israeli respondents said that they are religious, while 65 considered themselves either not religious or convinced athiests.

Despite the lack of widespread religious beliefs, Israelis demonstrated a clear attachment to religious traditions. Over two-thirds fast on Yom Kippur, and 36 percent listen to the megillah on Purim. Ninety percent said they celebrate Passover, and 67 percent carefully avoid hametz during the holiday.

The survey covered 65 countries and found that, worldwide, 63 percent of respondents identified as religious. The Middle East as a whole was the most religious part of the planet. A7

Mark, you are really off base on this one, and likely off base on your other accusations either, if this one is a guide to how unfounded your attack is.

This is what I wrote word for word and punctuation point for punctuation pt. less than two days ago:

Forgive me if I write a post tomorrow instead of right now. I need to go to bed early, but yes, it really has begun. By tomorrow or the next day, real hostilities will begin? It was kindled with a match when the King of Arabia sought council with Obama on the 7th or 8th Day of Pesach in stormy weather about how to stop the Persian expansion into the Arabian Peninsula in Teiman. It has now accelerated on the 17th day of the counting of the Omer with American Naval forces headed to the Strait of AMiNaDeB and the Gulf of Aden to confront the Persian Navy on its way to reinforce weapons stock supplies to the Houthis. The medrash in Yalkut Shimoni says that in response, the Persians will go forth to destroy the world!

I posed the possibility that the hostilities would begin in a day or two, and ended the speculation with a question mark. No one was predicting anything. This is an example immediately at hand which shows how many of your accusations from the more distant past are unfounded. Please cease and desist.

As it is right now, the situation in the Gulf of Aden is that the Americans are holding a lit match and that the Persians are holding a dry fuse. There WILL be a war this summer. It is not going to calm down and go away. You can act accordingly. Attacking me here won't change that fact. Again no prediction was made two days ago by me. I speculated with a QUESTION MARK which says that I am asking the possibility that war will begin within two days as a question. No one else reading this blog would say that I was predicting an event that did not occur. Yes, but on the world war this summer business, on that one I and a bunch of others are predicting there will be a world war this summer. Learn to tell the difference between an unsure but vocalized speculation at a moment of excitement vs. a prediction. and leave your ad hominem attacks behind.

On the issue of Pollard, it really did look like he was getting out in order to facilitate the final prisoner release of 26 murderers and to satisfy the Ba'al Kerry's bloodlust that more murderers should be released because in his mind they were freedom fighters. And I was bitterly disappointed that it did not occur. At the time I do remember writing a headline that he was going free because so many of us were thrilled and excited. Then the deal fell through and we were all bitterly disappointed. Since then I have contained my excitement on this blog with conditional statements and punctuation. But if I apologize for writing a definitive headline which ended up being wrong because the deal fell through, I have to apologize to myself too because I really believed it myself. On this one I admit that I was wrong, and I am sorry about that one to both others and to myself. But this is the last time that I dredge up the past with attacks about being wrong in the past.

If by the end of the summer, the Great War has not started and the currencies at least some of them have not begun a free fall collapse, I will apologize once more and, bli neder, close down this blog. I am that sure that this time at least this time, these things will happen b'itah.

My intention is to be a voice of reason in the wilderness of predictions and hype that too many blogs share! It is difficult for us to admit, but the absolute truth remains: We really have no idea how or when exactly the final redemption will unfold. It is a timeline that only Hashem has generated and will share with us when He deems fit. We can guess and pretend we are in Hashem's Inner Circle but these are mere stabs in the dark as we have seen so many times before.

This is a great time to remind everyone that no actual wars are necessary for Moshiach to come. We can be "yotze yedei chova" with warlike speech or even thoughts, and there is no need for wars to come to actuality chas veShalom.

It goes without saying that the entire community on this blog are not looking for wars per se but are eagerly awaiting Moshiach, which is prophesized to be coming with these wars, etc.

We are also very careful not to wish harm for anyone, particularly those who are ignorant (for whatever reason) of the meaning and preciousness of the Torah, the Esoteric Torah, and Moshiach.

G-d A-lmighty can bring teshuva even without pain and suffering, and it is enough for one true baal teshuva to bring the redemption for everyone in actuality. Then those who "didn't know" will know, and we will certainly not "throw it in their face", but rather be all so happy to welcome our fellows into the open arms of Hashem.

Also, WE (I mean "I") need to do teshuva, not "them". Those who are not aware of the inner essence of the Torah (even those who mock Torah and G-d chas veShalom) are only doing this out of ignorance ("Tinok Shenishba bein hagoiym" - even if he or she are born to Jewish parents).

With this definition, we are indeed in a generation that is entirely meritorious, since any transgression, regardless by whom (the biggest rabbi or lowest low life) is only done due to ignorance, forgetfullness, or the advice of the yezter Hara.

As the holy Berdichover said "beloved Father, how can you blame the yiden - you put G-dliness in the books, and worldly desires in the streets. If you have only put G-dliness in the streets and worldly desires in the books, things would be much better." Amen to a very holy brother.

Finally, each of us should check him or her self why we are awaiting Moshiach and are addicted to news about "coming wars" chas veShalom. What are we running away from in our personal lives that is driving us to wish for the end of days? Sometimes (talking about myself, and whoever listens good), it's not 100% purely our wish for Moshiach, but more running away from an unpleseant current reality.

Hashem wants a dwelling in this world, and we do this by facing our daily challenges, not running away from them, even to such a holy thing as "Moshiach".

Rav Dov and readers - "PREDICTIONS"

I do not think it neccessary to close the blog if predictions do not work out.
Only Hashem knows the whole truth.

Predictions are based on one's best understanding of events, science, and religious texts.
No human can claim perfect understanding, or access to knowledge of all events.

Geula is in this sense like a football game (soccer.) The game has a time limit (90 minutes/6,000 years) but events during the game mean "Injury time" can be added, or the game can be ended early because of events.

Even when we analyse information to predict the end of the game, the referee always tweaks the length of the game as events unfold, even during the time that has already been added to the statutory 90 minutes for injuries.

A poor tackle might mean an extra foul leading to a free kick, a substitution means time added, a crowd disturbance means the game can be ended early.

This blog contains vital information courtesy of Rav Dov and others, information which is not available elsewhere online.

It is a treasured resource.

Hizballah copycats Hamas’ terror tunnels for Lebanese-Galilee border. No IDF solutions yet

Debkafile: “Local reports of mysterious underground explosions in northern Israeli locations on the Lebanese border are confirmed by Israeli troops on field exercises in the neighborhood. They attest to heavy earthmoving equipment, explosions, burrowing and shaking ground on the Lebanese side of the border, giving the area the appearance of a huge subterranean building site.

Hizballah has undoubtedly taken a leaf out of the Hamas book of terror and mobilized fully and efficiently for a major tunnel-building project. Israel seems curiously passive in the face of its enemy’s dangerous enterprise.

Comments: Both Hamas (Philistia) and Hezbollah (inhabitants of Tyre) are represented in the war of Tehilim 83. Our peace partner, Iran, is busy supplying both but is not represented as a combatant until the War of Gog and Magog (Yechezkel 38-39).

Since both terror groups are known to have over 100,000 combined rockets pointed at Israel, and will be joined by Palestinians of the West Bank, Arabs of the Sinai, Saudi Arabia, Arab factions from Egypt and Jordan it would be easy to assume that Israel will be wiped out.

Not so fast…

In Tehilim 83:9 the prophet implores G'd, “Deal with them (7 nation Arab alliance) as with Midian.” The battle at Midian can be found in Shoftim 7.

G'd raised up a deliverer named Gideon who had a confrontation with an Angel of the Lord who confirmed him as a mighty warrior. Gideon was told to go and save Israel from Midian’s hand.

Gideon objected saying his army was weak, but G'd reassured him that He was with him after granting a sign with the tip of his staff.

And the Lord said to Gideon, The people who are with you are too many for Me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel claim glory for itself against Me, saying, ‘My own hand has saved me.’ Now therefore, proclaim in the hearing of the people, saying, ‘Whoever is fearful and afraid, let him turn and depart at once from Mount Gilead.’” And twenty-two thousand of the people returned, and ten thousand remained.

Gideon’s army was further reduced to 300 men that were split into groups. God told Gideon to divide the 300 into three groups of 100 with the unusual weapons of trumpets and empty jars with torches inside. At the critical moment the Israelites were told to blow their trumpets and break their jars making a loud noise giving the impression of a larger army.

The miraculous confusion of the Midianite army caused them to turn on each other with their swords while the Israelites watched in safety around the camp; and the Midianite army fled.

And that same miraculous confusion is found in Yechezkel 38:21-22 “I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord G'd. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. “

Given the almost universal support for the idea that this is the year, what if the last great test of emuna is the failure of reading the times correctly and all our gedolim are wrong this time and the people all lose faith in them?

I am Yosef from the Galil, for those to whom it matters.

Yosef: Correct, Mark has NOT been rude at all. He has made his point politely. My only "rebuke" of Mark was that he was claiming that I was making a prediction when I was not making one. When I add the nuance of a question mark or a conditional clause or if I mention that an event is likely Achishena or if I say, "Let us see what transpires" Or "Here is a heads up", then I am NOT making a prediction. There are three things that need to happen this summer to indicate that this process is now B'itah which I strongly believe it is. Since it is B'itah, 1. the nations will try to divide Yerushalayim and use whatever means at their disposal including worldwide sanctions and troops here in EY to accomplish this task, 2. Precisely because it is b'itah and not Achishena, there will be a world war between Persia and Edom which will be the war to end all wars but in neither case will it end in the way that either combatant wanted it to end. 3. worldwide fiat currency collapse by Rosh HaShanah with the Euro leading the way. All these three things are rooted in Chaza"l and since I strongly believe that it is b'itah, they have to happen.

I will have to respond to Ronnie's comment later about this being a generation that is meritorious. I would hold the opposite, but not in terms of Torah Law above and beyond G-d's laws of common decency. In terms of Torah Law every Jew raised immersed in secular culture today is a tinok sheNishba, and because of his/ her ignorance is NOT held accountable for lack of Shabbat or Kashrut observance, just two examples of many. Yet, in the areas of Noachide common decency, nobody is patur, neither Jew nor gentile. The code of these laws of common decency precede Sinai by 2447 years, and ignorance of them is really no excuse since the idolaters in whose culture we are immersed are NOT PATUR EITHER! In the case of idolatry itself, someone could still be redeemed if HaShem is mevater on His own kavod, but for most of the other laws of common decency, this is not the case.

The sefer the Leshem argues that Techiyat HaMeitim has to begin 210 years before the year 6000 in large part because Galut Mitzraim was not intrinsically "because of our sins", unlike the other galuyot that came as a result of and after Churban Bayit Rishon. It was decreed on High in the Covenant between the Parts when Avraham Avinu was only 70 years old, five years before coming to Eretz Yisrael a second time when he was 75 years old. So HaShem makes it up to us (those 210 years) at the end of the 6000 years which are truncated by 210 years. This would seem to indicate that Techiyat HaMeitim would begin by the year 5790, 15 years from now! This would seem to indicate that Yemot HaMashiach, which must precede Techiyat HaMeitim by at least two Shmittah cycles, has to begin by the year 5776. One of the reasons that Yemot HaMashiach needs two Shmittah cycles is so that at the end of the first Shmittah cycle starting in 5776 after the 3rd Temple is already rebuilt, Mashiach ben David will be able to do Hakhel in post Shmittah year 5783 during Sukkot of that year in the 3rd Temple before Techiyat HaMeitim can begin in the following Shmittah cycle which will begin in 5790. You can speak to Rav Pinchus Winston about the details of the Leshem's prediction. He is a baki on the Leshem.

Dov said: ... In terms of Torah Law every Jew raised immersed in secular culture today is a tinok sheNishba..

Not everyone agrees with that definition.

Rav Shlomo Zalman Aurbach ZTL:

Many non-frum Jews nowadays are not in the category of Tinok Shenishba. If they (a) know they are Jewish, and (b-) know that they have the option of being religious, and (c ) the government will not persecute them if they become religious, then, he said, if they say they still do not want to become religious, they are no longer in the category of Tinokos Shenishbu).

So the above explanation dealing with The Leshem definitely strengthens the notion that 5776 is the year when Mashiach ben David should come b'itah. We are simply at the end of the Kingdoms of Man Era of history. I believe that Rav Winston's book "2016" deals with this explanation.

Also if you look into how long Rebbe Nachman's Emunah test has been ongoing, one can see that the real beginning of this Emunah test was in 1967 (5727) when almost the entire world either headed toward Western atheisim and/ or Islamic fanaticism/ and lack of anger management. Since then the rare Jew or non-Jew interested in building up his/her character was a scorned yachid (individual) in so many circumstances as the pressure of humanity's rebellion against G-d and His Holy ways was the direction of 90% of humanity. You can really trace this all back to the year 1967 when we, the minority, began our 49 year climb toward holiness because of the 6 Day War and the reunification of Yerushalayim on one hand and when the masses rebelled against the G-d of Common Decency through the Summer of Love in 1967 and the Summer of Random acts of violence in 1968. The choice for the last 48 1/2 years now (49 years by the end of this summer) starting in and including the Summer of Love 1967 has been to improve ourselves when the majority were headed in the opposite direction.

Mashiach ben David will be waiting for us at the 50th Gate (Sha'ar Nun). You can be sure of that. We were promised, at least, that that would be the case.

The main reason why I was thinking of asking anonymous commenters to simply tag their comments with an alias or an avatar is to identify one anonymous commenter from another. In order to have an online discussion with individuals over one subject matter for instance, it helps to know who it is we are talking to in terms of the other subjects that have been discussed with the same individual. So when someone comments, we can then recall the track record of other comments that were made by the same person. So that individual becomes a person and not just a comment unto itself.

Speaking of Hakhel - which is in the 8th year associated with Sefira of Binah, and Yovel, which is the 50th gate, also associated with Bina, as well as "Cheirut" (Freedom for the yezter hara and the constrictions "meitzarim - mitzraym - of the natural phenomenon and the nations of the world), as well as the "place" of the Holy Zohar, Supernal Teshuva, etc...

We are in the 8th generation of Chabad (following the Rebbe's deceleration of redemption in 1991, or the apparent passing of the Rebbe in 1994, however you want to look at it). There is a discourse from the Rebbe from 1977 asking why the open revelation of G-dliness was not on the 7th day of miluym but rather on the 8th.

There the Rebbe says that while there are not 8 days in a week, only 7, the 7th day has two aspects, and the time of Rav d'Ravin is called the aspect of the 8th. The Rebbe then says that the mission on the 8th day is to infuse the supernatural with the natural - and this is the mission of Moshiach ben Yosef, paving the way for Moshiach ben Dovdi, whom we know is "Found, Hidden, and Revealed Again" (I will let the many scholars on this blog site the many sources for this in Sefer Daniel, Chazal, Zohar, etc.)

Chabad chassidus, unlike any other chassidut (other then Breslov) is not a "miflaga", as the Baal HaTanya said that Chabad Chassidus is a path in the esoteric aspects of Torah for Klal Israel. The Rebbe was the Nasi of all of Israel, and when he started speaking about Moshiach, no one was listening. Even Chabad chassidim were either ignoring the Rebbe's words (because they sounded too "Weird"), or went off the deep end (The Rebbe is Moshiach and it's our job to tell the world OUR Rebbe is Moshiach - oy vei). Both didn't understand the Rebbe's teachings. It was such a big light that it was darkness.

24 years later, it's sinking in a bit by bit. And it's culminating this year. The Lights of Tohu in Vessels of Tikun. There is so much to say about this, each of us need to know this (and I'm saying tooooo many words).

The Internet is the manifestation of Lights of Tohu in Vessels of Tikun (and it became widely available in the years between 1991-1994 as the Rebbe unleashed the deceleration of redemption).

The community on this blog is the manifestation of Hakhel (see the sicha of 13 Tishrey 5748). By participating in this blog, we are not just watching for the redemption - we are bringing it about.

Our next mission is Hakhel - to connect each and every Jew on the planet. Just a simple connection - reading the blog, commenting, sharing, links the souls of the those involved, and building a network through which each individual is connected to and gains the capcity of the entire whole. This is ingathering the exiles.

"I don't like what you people are doing ,over there."

Have you ever wondered what was wrong with American Jewry? I have…and after seeing a post on my Facebook page about an upcoming event at a synagogue in Boston, I think I've found the perfect answer to what ails American Jewry. No, it isn't assimilation, though that too is a shocking result of how American Jews have been raising their children for generations. It isn't intermarriage, yeah, that too. Those are symptoms of the problem, not the problem itself.

Over 30 years ago, an uncle (three out of four of his children have married non-Jews, one converted to Christianity, two got divorced, one intermarried a second time) told my sister, "I don't like what you people are doing over there."...

Rambam, Hilchos Melachim, Perek 12:

"All these and similar matters cannot be definitely known by man until they occur for these matters are undefined in the prophets' words and even the wise men have no established tradition regarding these matters except their own interpretation of the verses. "

"Regardless of the debate concerning these questions, neither the order of the occurrence of these events or their precise detail are among the fundamental principles of the faith. A person should not occupy himself with the Aggadot and homiletics concerning these and similar matters, nor should he consider them as essentials, for study of them will neither bring fear or love of God."

"Similarly, one should not try to determine the appointed time for Mashiach's coming. Our Sages declared: 'May the spirits of those who attempt to determine the time of Mashiach's coming expire!' Rather, one should await and believe in the general conception of the matter as explained."

"....until such time as those endtimes prophesies start to actually be fulfilled at the very end of days." This was not the case at the time of the Rambam or even at the time of the Vilna Gaon. So talking about the keitz would have been meaningless since it was generations away in the future. Curiously, the Rambam after writing this offered up his own keitz which he supported with his own arguments even if his keitz was not in his lifetime. Be that as it may, we definitely are in THOSE times now. Just one case amongst a million cases. Medrash Sefer Eliyahu tells us right off the bat that the last leader in Israel of the Erev Rav at the time of the lowly Erev Rav kingdom would be TRMLO (Tav Reish Mem Lamed Aleph). It has been in the medrash from time immemorial. From Left to Right a Western cultured reader, as opposed to an ancient Semitic right to left reader, would read that as Olmert...that he would be the last leader of the Erev Rav representing the interests of Malkhut Edom in Eretz Yisrael....and now he is jail for six years. He has come and gone. Who do we got now? well at least a candidate for Mashiach ben Yosef if he forms the 34th Govt. of Israel with the rightwing...big if. Yet, it can't be denied that he is a descendant of the GR"A and therefore a descendant of David. He is a descendant of a famous modern day Nathan in accordance with the Ibn Ezra's interpretation of Zecharia 12:12. He is a Levi both on his father's and mother's side. His mother's maiden name was Segal. And he is filling the role so he hopes of a modern day Mordechai ben Shimi ben Kish, a nephew of Shaul HaMelekh. Read and learn Zecharia 12:12-13. It is eerie to read Bibi Netanyahu's yichus in the pages of Tana"kh, very eerie indeed. And to fail to point this all out WHILE IT IS HAPPENING would be an even greater crime than remaining silent. People have to be ready for what will be instantly upon us in a matter of months. In the next two weeks around Lag B'Omer (33rd day) or the 34th day of the Omer, Bibi Netanyahu will announce the 34th Govt. of Israel. He can either cave before world pressure and destroy modern secular Zionism in the process by bringing in Buji and Tzippy and by extension choosing the path of Zecharia 14, or he could prepare to die a martyr's death of Zecharia 12 by doing the right and holy thing. I don't envy this man's choice. He has the weight of all of Olam HaZeh on his shoulders. May Mashiach ben Yosef, B'itah, LIVE!!! since all the other Achishena Mashiach ben Yosef's have died, the last being Meir Kahane HY"D with the last Achishena Mashiach ben Yosef rotting away in an American prison for over 29 years.

Just to help those who think that a Kohen or a Leivi can't be Mashiach ben Yosef or Mashiach ben Ephraim. As has been discussed on multiple occasions on this blog, Mashiach ben Yosef/Ephraim is matrilinear unlike Mashiach ben David which is patrilinieal. As a matter of fact all the Bnai Rachel and Bnai Osnat transmit yichus through the mother not the father. We have Daryavush Ben Yamini a known Mashiach who completed the work of Bayit Sheini who received "his anointment" from his mother Esther and not from his not so righteous father (Achashveirosh aka Xerxes to the Greeks because they could not pronounce the Chet. So a Chet followed by a Shin became an X.) We have the daughters of Tzelophchad from Shevet Menashe who teach us about the laws of yerushah for women. And finally we have Mashiach ben Ephraim who will also be a descendant of Yehoshua bin Nun whose only immediate descendants were daughters. This is all because the ko'ach to destroy Amalek in the world must come from the feminine side of the yetzer hatov since Amalek is Zachor. Therefore it takes either a women's touch (Esther) or someone who receives that ko'ach FROM HIS MOTHER!...such as Yehonatan ben MALKAH. May he get his Get out of Jail free card very soon.

There is one main difference between the two: Yehonatan ben Malkah and Binyamin ben Tsila HaLeivi Netanyahu in their yichus. Binyamin is almost assuredly tied to being a Binyamini on his mother's side while Yehonatan is from Ephraim on his mother's side. We have seen the Ephraim yichus the Torah. We know that Osnat was his mother. Yet, Potiphara was NOT Osnat's father even if he was raised by him. He was either a homosexual, or he was what we learned he was in earlier pasukim about Potiphar. He was a castrated eunuch and incapable of fathering children. So Chaza'l tell us that Dinah was her mother, and she (Osnat bat Dinah) was the child who came from the rape of Dinah by Shekhem. Since this goes back to its root through the X chromosome, we know that this X can come from the mother or the father in the case of a female child. So it came from Ya'akov Avinu who had to receive his from Rivkah Imeinu who received hers from Bethuel her father who had to receive his from his mother.........Milkah. The Torah takes great pains to never mention the names of non-Jewish women in any narrative about yichus unless they are pertinent to the story. We learn that it mentions Na'amah the 7th generation daughter of Kayin only because Na'amah was the wife of Noach. We also know that Haran the brother of Avraham was the father of Yiskah and Lot. Since Yiskah (Jessica) is really Sarai, Yiskah is mentioned since Sarai is the mother of Klal Yisrael. Yet, Haran's wife is nowhere to be found. She is simply not mentioned. It is therefore curious that the mother of Sarai is NOT mentioned in the Torah, but the wife of Nachor, an idolater, IS mentioned in the Torah. Her name was Milkah. She is mentioned several times. The Torah seems to stress her very existence when she was likely and idolater married to one and the same idolater. She is therefore mentioned for a very important reason: TO TEACH US WHERE IN THE TORAH THE FEMININE SIDE OF MALKHUT YISRAEL HAS ITS ROOT!! And she passed it on to Bethuel who passed it on to Rivkah who passed it on to Ya'akov who passed it on to Dinah who passed it on to Osnat who passed it on to Ephraim and Menashe.

From the Blaze story:

The Jerusalem Post reported that an audience member called out to Riskin that he was being disrespectful to Obama, but the interruption was booed by the crowd.

“I am being disrespectful because the president of the United States was disrespectful to my prime minister, to my country, to my future and to the future of the world,” Riskin said.

While he cast Obama as the villain, the rabbi compared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Mordechai (ben Ya'ir ben Shimi ben Kish Ish Yemini...a Benjamite), one of the heroes of the Esther story.

The part in bold was added by me. You get the picture. I know some people have issues with Rav Riskin because of his enthusiastic support of fundamentalist Xtians. I have the same issues with him, but he is correct that one of the purposes of Xtiainity in the world was/is, according to the Rambam, to spread the idea of Messianism in the world along with a linear view of history with a great ending. There are of course may glaring problems with Xtiainity which he ignores which really can't be ignored. But for the purposes of this post, he makes the point about Obama being Haman and Bibi being Mordechai ben Shimi ben Kish rather nicely. And he is the Rav of Efrat. His voice cannot be discounted, no matter what problems we may understand exist in his praise of Xtianity.

Anon.- He is the Rav of Efrat. An entire city asks him shaylot. How do we figure in that? He was speaking at the Great Synagogue when he was quoted here in this Blaze article. And he is responsible for hundreds of shiduchim from his tenure at Lincoln Square Synagogue. I know his behavior with regards to praising Xtianity cannot be overlooked though.

Leah: Zecharia 12: 10-14
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto Me because they have thrust him through; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born.
11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
יב וְסָפְדָה הָאָרֶץ, מִשְׁפָּחוֹת מִשְׁפָּחוֹת לְבָד: מִשְׁפַּחַת בֵּית-דָּוִיד לְבָד, וּנְשֵׁיהֶם לְבָד--מִשְׁפַּחַת בֵּית-נָתָן לְבָד, וּנְשֵׁיהֶם לְבָד. 12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart: the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
יג מִשְׁפַּחַת בֵּית-לֵוִי לְבָד, וּנְשֵׁיהֶם לְבָד; מִשְׁפַּחַת הַשִּׁמְעִי לְבָד, וּנְשֵׁיהֶם לְבָד. 13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shimeites apart, and their wives apart;
יד כֹּל, הַמִּשְׁפָּחוֹת הַנִּשְׁאָרוֹת--מִשְׁפָּחֹת מִשְׁפָּחֹת, לְבָד; וּנְשֵׁיהֶם, לְבָד. 14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.

In order for him to choose this path, he has to anger Mankind by forming a right wing govt. If he chooses to form a Govt. with Buji and LIvni, then then he will not need to be martyred for anything.

There are things going on today which has not been since the state has come into being. There seems that nowadays, there's no treason, blasphemy, etc. and anything goes. Yes, the events between Persia and Edom are waiting to unfold AFTER either Zecharia 12 or Zecharia 14 commence. The nations have to make their move against us to facilitate the punishment against them. They have to be able to draw the connection between dividing Eretz Yisrael and the destruction of their corrupt civilization. What is good to know is that the Gun against them is already locked and loaded waiting for their move.

Anon.: I agree. Only Mashiach will clear this up. The Geulah will paint this doctrine of salvation through believing that someone died for your sins so that you can get Olam HaBa in such a negative light that the Goyim will abandon this 2000 year old lie in droves. Perhaps a 3rd earthquake in XChurch, New Zealand for proposing punitive measures against Israel for refusing to accept a Palestinian State will do the trick.(It is the New Zealanders who have such zeal over the idea of dividing Eretz Yisrael which will trigger Armageddon or as it says in Zecharia 12- "the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon" the mourning of both Achav from the House of Yosef and Yoshiyahu from the House of Yehudah, the lynchpin between Mashiach ben Yosef and Mashiach ben David. The Middle East is on the brink of its fourth war (after Syria, Iraq and Yemen). debkafile’s military and intelligence sources report that Egypt is massing large-scale ground and air forces in the Western Desert along the Libyan border, in preparation for a military campaign to capture eastern Libya – Cyrenaica - from the Islamist State of Syria and Iraq – ISIS - occupation.

The substantial naval and marine forces assembling at Egypt’s Mediterranean ports indicate the possible launching of the offensive by dropping Egyptian marines on the Libyan coast around Derna (pop: 100,000), which ISIS has made its provincial capital. They may be accompanied by simultaneous landings of paratroops from the air.

‘Egypt is Preparing for War with Israel’

Noha Hashad, pro-Israeli nuclear scientist who escaped Egypt after years of torture, says what’s happening in Sinai isn’t what we think.

Speaking to Israel Hayom’s Emily Amrousi from her new home in Haifa, Hashad was asked to give her take about Egypt’s actions in Sinai, where the Egyptian army has been fighting radical groups such as Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, a group that recently swore allegiance to Islamic State (ISIS).

“That’s all for show,” appraised Hashad. “In the race for the presidency, Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis supported (President Abdel Fattah) al-Sisi, who isn’t really fighting them.”

The nuclear scientist warned “Egypt is preparing for war with Israel. It armed and trained Hamas in Gaza. Whoever knows Arabic can hear the heads of Egyptian military intelligence talk about wide canals that open up between Israel and Egypt that will be used at the appropriate time.”

The warning echoes appraisals by Col. (res.) Dr. Shaul Shay, former deputy head of the Israel National Security Council, who wrote in Israel Defense last December that the “Badr 2014″ military maneuver, its largest in decades, was meant to prepare for “a potential conflict with Israel.”

There is one parallel between the Nepal earthquake in this Shmittah cycle and another event in the Shmittah year of the previous Shmittah cycle ending in 5768. They both hint or hinted to a great "Fall" (Nafal) of the nations of the world that very year in 5768 and again hopefully in this year 5775. The Annapolis Peace Conference was in November 2007 of that year to force a solution to our problems in accordance with Esav's wishes down our throats. The root of Annapolis is also Nafal, and it lead to the financial collapse by the end of that Shmittah year. So here we have again another Nafal G-d willing leading to the collapse of this wicked world. This does not speak to the unspeakable suffering of those who were killed or have survived this deadly earthquake. It just speaks to the coming Nefilah of the Umot HaOlam.
