The Gavlan will be Desolate: the Last Sign to Fall
A quick post before the Yom Tov? of Tisha b'Av. The key to the last of the 18 signs in the Gemorrah in Sotah so that Mashiach can come b'itah has now been found with the assistance of my friend, YS. Is the Gavlan already desolate? Will Armilus (Olmert) use this as a pretext to resist G-d even more? That is does the last leader of the Erev Rav delay the redemption just a little bit longer in order for HaShem to make one more important point before Armilus is destroyed? We will soon see. Here is a copy of the letter that I sent to Mystical Paths:
After extensive research it is obvious that the Gavlan, as mentioned by the Maharsha as he comments on the list of the 18 signs repeated in Tractate Sanhedrin, is the same Eretz Givli (Land of Gebel) that is mentioned in the 13th perek of Yehoshua (Joshua 13) which in the life of Yehoshua was not conquered. Drawing a line from Baniyas to Tsidon reveals the full extent of Yehoshua's conquests. Everything north of that line up to the River Ibrahim north of Beirut was supposed to be conquered as part of Ca'anan but was not.
According to sources, one of the most ancient cities of all time from the time of the Creation of Man is the city of Jbail, 35 km north of modern Beirut.. The Greeks called it Byblos because of its importance in the papyrus trade. Around the time of the Exodus from Mitzraim (Egypt), the population of J'bail became too great to meet the needs of the Givli (J'baili in Arabic) populace. A group of J'bailians traveled and settled in southeast Lebanon. They called their new capital Daughter of Jbail (Bint Jbail in Arabic). According to modern Lebanese maps it is still the provincial capital of the Land of the Daughter of Jbail (Caza refers to the word province). Notice the name of the country at Lebanon's southern border is called Palestine. In Sefer Yehoshua (Joshua 13), the text divides up the northern areas not conquered by Yehushua into north-western and north-eastern sections as follow: The coastal (north-western) unconquered areas are called from Tsidon to Afeik. The inland northeastern areas are called from Eretz HaGivli (Gebel or the Gavlan) and all of Eastern Lebanon. In short, Eretz HaGivli (The Land of Gebel) or the Gavlan in Sotah and Sanhedrin is the province of Bint J'bail. May it soon be desolate. Of course, its desolation will bring about WW3, but what the heck, a world where the public relations of our official dwarf, Armilus (Olmert) needs to be replaced with a world where the Truth is no longer absent.

I thought important to clarify that the video of the "singer" shown on the Mystical Paths site shows Sacha Baron Cohen, a british COMEDIAN, impersonating an individual from Kazakhstan.
Given his style of humor, one can would readily interpret that his song does not reflect his thinking.
The video, however, suggests very clearly that attitudes toward "the Jew" are far from safe, when dealing with ignoramuses, (forget about religious fanatics who have outright hatred towards us). This, even in a so called "developed, and pluralistic" country.

According to Kol HaTor by Rav Hillel Sklover, student of the Gra, Armilus is the last head of the Erev Rav here in Eretz Yisrael. If he were truly from Rome he would have no power over Yosef or Mashiach ben Yosef because Yosef is Sitno shel Esau and defeats his ayin ra (evil eye). It is through his deception of being a Jew that Armilus has the power to kill ben Yosef.
Armilus has had many manifestations of his neshamah through many gilgulim throughout history. First and foremost he was one of the sons of Bilaam who forced the Golden Calf upon Aharon HaKohen. Since his soul is not Jewish, many hold that one of his manifestations was Romulus, one of the founders of the city of Rome. Some say that he was also Yoshka in a previous incarnation. I am not sure why Rav Tzadok does not bring the opinion of the Gra down in Koshertorah.com. Perhaps I will write and ask him.

Thank you for your answer. I read the entry you refer to (all of them actually) thats why I was so confused at the very different senerio he brings. For those of us not as well learned it can be disorienting to see such varying ideas. The bottom line to rememeber I guess is that anything can happen and it is all up to Hashem and our teshuva. Its just that he seems so sure of it and your arguments make so much sense too...
Any ideas for helping Bnai Yisroel to do Tshuva so we can avert all this? National Tshuva that is.
May Moshiach come as I type and we wont have to guess.

Heres something I find real interesting in the EU Constitution. If it will be confirmed, now I believe it will be agreed on and the Constitution will come in to effect. But Why?
The Presidency system
22. The Constitution provides for the replacement of the existing six-monthly rotating Presidency by a 'Team Presidency' system. Under it, all Councils apart from the Foreign Affairs Council (which will be chaired by the European Union Foreign Minister) will be chaired by a team of three Member States holding the Presidency for 18 months. In principle, one Member State will preside over all the Councils for 6 months, supported by others in the Team, though the Member States concerned may agree alternative arrangements amongst themselves. By what the constitution says above, now we know that Spain will be part of the 3 countries that will rule together for 18 months and Spain will be given the 18 month term to talk for the EU. Out of this 18 month term The FUTURE DICTATOR WILL BECOME STRONG AND A PEACEFUL MAN. HE WILL HAVE THE ANSWERS TO THE MIDEAST EAST PEACE PLAN AND SOMEWHERE DOWN THE LINE HE WILL BE THE ONE THAT SIGNS THE 7 YEAR ISRAELI / ARABS AND MANY PEACE CONTRACT OF DANIEL 9:27.

Recently I was reading in Judges 3:1-3 about the folks who remained in the Land after Joshua's conquest. The Philistines of course lived down near the modern Gaza strip and the other peoples are identified up near Hermon and Lebanon. The rationale for continued harrassment of Israel is found in verse 4 "They were left to test the Israelites to see whether they would obey the Lord's commands, which he had given their forefathers through Moses".
Hamas (I believe the Hebrew word means VIOLENCE) is supported by Sunni Muslims, while the Hizb Allah folks in Lebanon are favorites of the Shiite Muslims. I understand the word Alah in Hebrew means CURSE, as used in Deuteronomy 11:28. The warning there is the same "if you disobey the commands of the Lord". Are we not seeing a direct replay of ancient stories in amazing parallel? The pagan oppressors in Gideon's time even had crescent necklaces (see Judges 8:21 and Isaiah 3:18) honoring the moon god. So nothing changes.
Permit me to predict what is next. Modern Israel is about to totally disobey the Lord's commandments and GIVE AWAY the West Bank to form a Palestinan Arab state. Dov I think that includes your home town as well. This will bring about the direct and awesome involvement of divine wrath as outlined in Ezekiel 38, 39. I am inclined to believe that the "invasion of Gog" might refer to the arrival of a "horde of peacekeepers". In any case they will be smashed. Too bad the political leadership does not recognize the present woes for what they are... divine testing!!
