The Smell of Truth is in the Air!

Yes, tis a sweet savour indeed! The smell of Truth is in the Air! I will cry it from the mointaintops if I could. But this blog entry shall suffice.

The righteous in Israel will prevail this time. How do I Know? Because the sweet savour of Truth is in the Air.
1. Wikileaks about Gog Bush Jr.'s massive spying campaign on Israel, exposing forever the lie for why Pollard is still suffering in prison in his 26th year
2. Al Jazeera leaks sending Abbas and Erekat scurrying behind rocks, denying that they will ever make even the smallest concession to Israel,
3. the Muslim Brotherhood takeover of Egypt blowing out of the water the fallacies of the peace treaty with Egypt, that we should have at the very least kept our hold on to the northeastern sixth of the Sinai Peninsula all the way to Wadi El Arish (a.k.a. the Wadi of Mitzraim). By holding on to this territory, Hamas could now not be supplied by the Muslim Brotherhood because there would be no border between Gaza and Egypt.
4. Hezbollah's takeover of Lebanon, setting up the moment when Ehud Barak will finally be tarred and feathered. Yes, Tel Aviv and the entire coast may be bombed this summer, but narry a leftist will be left when we prevail with the coming of Mashiach ben Yosef. The Smell of Truth is in the Air!

I sent this letter to Arutz-7. It is not a time for despair. It is a time for teshuvah for our sins of common indecency. Mashiach ben Yosef's soul root is from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil according to Rav Chaim Vital student of the Arizal HaKodesh. All of the 365 negative commandments of the Torah were part of the fruit of that tree. That is to partake of that tree lead Adam and Chava to break all 365 prohibitions in the Torah. The Nachash (the primordial snake) entered into Adam. The gematriah of nachash is 358. He could therefore no longer perceive 358 of the 365 prohibitions in the Torah! Therefore from then on Adam and his descendants could only perceive the remaining seven negative prohibitions. It is from this root that we have the soul of Mashiach ben Yosef. He will lead us back to doing common decency for its own sake. We will become experts in derech eretz (human decency) which is kadmah (preceeding) the Torah. From the looks of what happened in Gush Katif, we have a tremendous amount of teshuvah to do in that area alone. But this year the Hoshana Rabba of years is the year to do it. It very well may be the last year to do it before we lose some of our free will in that area. Keep in mind that human decency is really what the seven Noachide Laws are all about, and if we are to be a nation of priests for Mankind we must be experts at keeping this code. Only then can Mashiach ben David come whose soul root is from the Tree of Life which is of course the Torah, but first we must become decent again. By the way, the gematriah of Mashiach is also 358, for ben David is the tikkun for eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. I will soon be publishing a blog on how we can all do teshuvah in the areas of common decency.

For now, let us celebrate that the sweet savour of G-d's signature, the Truth, is taking over the world. Who will Mashiach ben Yosef be then? One thing is sure. It will be someone for whom if Wikileaks were to reveal his private conversations, no one would be astonished or surprised because whatever he has said in private will have already been said by him in public! So nothing new would be revealed. Could this be someone who already is in Netanyahu's inner circle? Could this be Netanyahu himself after he does teshuvah for his own disreputable behaviour? Or will this be someone else from the outside who takes over the reigns of government while it is in collapse because of the massive bombing of the Galil and the Left Coast? To be discussed at a later time.

A minor point but...there are only six negative commandments and one positive commandment--to set up Courts of Justice.

This was so good to read. Your optimism and excitement. B"H I feel it too, as the Muslim world whip themselves into a frenzy, perhaps to fizzle and burn up like a match.

I should probably give this over because I still don't know what to do with it years later.
I was in Kollel at the time so I am guessing I was at a bit higher level of kedusha. I don't see now it but Netenyahu features in one.

Dream 1
Sometime after Pesach '05
Dream starts in clouds with wild colors and as I feel a strong wind push me upward I hear the command from on high that Michael is to descend to earth. I feel a joy so strong I am almost at a level of panic, then I realize I am not Michael answering the command, but simply being radiated in his simcha at fulfilling the command of Hashem. The dream ended with me woken heart pounding by the strength of the simcha.

Dream2
Shortly after the hitnakut, before the stroke.
I am in a southwest desert route 66 type diner. Suddenly secret service type guys clear everyone out of the diner and then leave themselves the place is empty except for me. Ariel Sharon comes from the kitchen and stands behind the bar, I beg him over and over to do tshuva but he just looks at me impassively.

Dream3
Shortly after Netenyahu takes power.
I have a dream he and I are jogging in the Gilo area, I think we make a few comments but I do not remember them. We travel down the hill and turn left towards Malcha. Towards the end of the dream we are jogging about where the gas station now sits I finally notice he is now wearing a kippah seruga and am happy knowing that he has done some sort of teshuva.

Ah to anonymous with the minor point: If I may quote from a book called "The Path of the Righteous Gentile" by Clorfence and Rogalsky based on Rashi on Sanhedrin 59a:

The commandment to establish courts of law (by Noachides), though it might appear to be a positive commandment calling for affirmative action (a mitzvat aseh), is considered a prohibition. In effect, the commandment to establish courts of law is a prohibition against failing to establish courts of law, because failure to establish appropriate courts inhibits the performance of justice throughout the nations.

That is if establishing just courts were truly a positive commandment, there would be no death penalty by failing to do so. Yet, there is a death penalty for violating all of the seven laws. Why was the entire male population of the city of Sh'khem liable to the death penalty after the rape of Dinah by Sh'khem himself? It is because no one in the city asked that Sh'khem be tried in a court of law for raping Dinah. They simply had no moral outrage over the crime that was committed. They were therefore slain for their lack of moral outrage that one of the Noachide laws had been broken. Rape falls under the category of Theft, for a man who rapes is stealing the from the woman her self-worth for his own personal use. So what was Ya'akov Avinu so upset about? It was the way that Shimon and Levi went about it by signing a peace treaty with them and then breaking the terms of the treaty. Therefore, it meant that the gentiles would think that any peace treaty with Israel was not considered by Israel as a binding agreement. Therefore who would sign a peace treaty with us, for we would justly be considered as an unreliable party to such an agreement. Therefore, the City of Shkhem deserved to be put to death, but not by signing a peace treaty with them.

I realize that there are two additional reasons that Ya'akov cursed Shimon and Levi's violence when he reprimanded them before he passed on.

1. There was only one way that Shimon and Levi alone could have carried out the death penalty against the Shkhemites for not establishing a court to put Shkhem on trial for rape and kidnapping, both of which are forms of theft. They had to create a ruse where the Shkhemites would sign a peace treaty with the them. The terms of the treaty would obligate the Shkhemites to give themselves a Brit Milah from which they would be to weak to defend themselves on the third day of that circumcision. Only under that condition could Shimon and Levi kill off the entire male population of the city. Since doing this would make Israel odious in the eyes of the surrounding residents, this was an inappropriate option. Therefore, the only option was to pray to G-d that He carry out judgement against the residents of Shkhem for not having any moral outrage against Shkhem's behaviour.

2. Since the Land of Eretz Yisrael was not yet ours because at that time the seven Canaanite nations were conquering EY from its original Shemitic residents, the sons of Israel could not enforce the seven Laws on the inhabitants of the Land. We were in a sense still strangers there. We see this when Avraham muzzled his sheep so that his sheep would not graze on property that was not his. Also even Yitzchak was considered a stranger even though he was born and lived his entire life in EY, for we count the 400 years of being a stranger in a land not ours, decreed in the Covenant between the Parts, from the birth of Yitzchak. Therefore, Yisrael and his sons were also strangers. So the question comes down to whether or not we can enforce Noachide Law on the residents of a land in which we were still strangers especially when we were so few in number! In this case as in the above case, prayer for judgement against the Shkhemites was the only option.

HaRav Koppelman, shlita, is the Rosh Yeshiva of Lucerne, Switzerland and possibly the oldest rosh yeshiva in the world today at 104.

Last week he visited the Jewish community in Manchester, England. During a talk given there he said,

“I am not a prophet, nor the son of a prophet but we say we are living in Moshiach's times. I cannot say the minute or the month but I can say that we are no longer talking of years

Maybe "Egypt" is really the USA with Obama as Gog. Afterall, he is encoded in Ezekiel 38:2-3 in such a precise way appearing to identify him as Gog. 3.5 years would be fom Jan. 2009 to about summer 2012. This can also tie in with Daniel 7:25 and even Ezekiel 39:
